commerce made us great, not govt. Don't listen to obama. When he said, "if you own a business, you didn't build that, somebody else made that happen" he tipped his hand.
If you libwhacks succeed in re-electing him, you will get credit for the downfall of this country.
And, you shouldn't buy into the already discredited propaganda. The quote you continue using is out of context, and if you read more than propaganda, you would already know that and not be spreading lies:

http://factcheck.org/2012/07/you-didnt-build-...

[EXCERPT:]
There’s no question Obama inartfully phrased those two sentences, but it’s clear from the context what the president was talking about. He spoke of government — including government-funded education, infrastructure and research — assisting businesses to make what he called “this unbelievable American system that we have.”

In summary, he said:“The point is … that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together.”

<quoted text>Well, Hillary in office is not an option this time around. You only have an option between the sitting President and Etch-a-Sketch Romney. I can see the graphite go to solid gray before being completely rescripted by the infamous "DAY ONE" when forty-leven will-do promises suddenly disappear to be replaced by the new writing in the frame:
"Just kidding"
No thanks. Where are the tax releases? How do you justify a smart man signing numerous SEC filings that he knew nothing about and had no input into what the company did? How do you reconcile Romney calling Massachusetts health care plan a "mandate" and Obama's plan a "tax"? How did Romney go from being proud of his accompishment to pretending it never happened? How many states have failed to support their former governor in his run for the presidency? Why can't he articulate his immigration policy? He's become the artful dodger, just not very artful.
Are you serious? Let's talk about something more important, OBAMA'S ECONOMY? HIS FRIENDS? HIS POLICIES? Talk about an artful dodge!! Do you think the Ameican people are going to sit and IGNORE the last 3 plus years?! Are you that blind?!

Require employers to provide seven paid sick days per year
Expand the Family Medical Leave Act to include leave for domestic violence or sexual assault

Close the Guantanamo Bay Detention Center
Develop an alternative to President Bush's Military Commissions Act on handling detainees
Secure ratification of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT)
Seek to negotiate a political agreement on Cyprus
Reinstate special envoy for the Americas
Double the Peace Corps
I'm focused on what Mitt Romney intends to do: increase defense spending, cut social welfare safety net programs that protect the most vulnerable, overturn legislation intended to protect us from predator capitalism and another financial meltdown, give capitalists free reign to continue outsourcing without penalty, increase taxes on the low end of the income scale and increase cuts on the wealthiest as much as $150,000 - without any plan as to how to go about reducing the debt. It can only happen when the shortfall once again is foisted onto the backs of the middle class. No. We've had too much of that program already. If the middle-class must further suffer, let it be AFTER those who are more capable paying their fair share have the Bush era tax breaks ended. We SHOULD reduce corporate taxes, but on the other hand, they should be expect to pay that reduced percentage.

Can anybody find us a real Republican to come post on these threads? I am aghast at the sheer audacity of the lunatics here to abduct the party and try to pass themselves off as members of it.
To every committed Democrat, I just want to beg you not to assume these bigots, idiots and morons are reflections of the millions of Americans who have identified with being Republican. They are conservative, not insane. They are thoughtful, not thoughtless. They have been so intimidated and pushed into silence by the loud angry voices of extremism that they remind me of the many Christians who have been driven underground by the hateful, bigoted, demanding voices of the outrageous self-described Christians (but who are anything but) who have absolutely no compassion - completely counter to the tenets of Christianity:
The Republican Party has lost its way, succumbing to the will of the far-right fringe
http://blog.cleveland.com/letters/2012/01/the...
The Republican Party has been taken over by a fringe element so far right that Barry Goldwater wouldn't recognize it. This new Republican Party has lost its way and has become a party insanely obsessed with destroying Barack Obama's presidency at all cost -- even if it means destroying the middle class; a party of shrinking the government safety nets that actually gave our parents a path to the middle class; a party that will privatize public assets in order to enrich its contributors; a party of more deregulation so the Enrons, WorldComs and Tycos of the world can destroy the pensions and savings of hardworking, middle-class Americans.(Continued:)
.........
The almost unbelievable reality is that these people here are mostly from the blue collar and middle-classes themselves. It's the most self-destructive movement I have ever witnessed with it's collective suicide mission. Don't drink the kool-aid. Somebody go find a Republican for Topix. I know they're out there somewhere with electrical tape over their mouths and their hands tied behind their backs.
"Somebody go find a Republican for Topix. I know they're out there somewhere with electrical tape over their mouths and their hands tied behind their backs."
That would be exceedingly difficult as they are very busy earning a living in the mines, mills, factories, farms and shops to feed their families and the hoards of Democrats who are dependent on them for their very survival......Many of these republicans work long hours in those facilities that produce electrical tape and rope that can't seem to keep up with the demand for their products that those democrats keep buying (and stealing) to bind the hands and seal the mouths of those republicans that produce....

You're right. All of our issues started 3 years ago. Better to ignore the 8 years before that and focus on the last 3 years because Obama sure didn't have ANY problems that he had to deal with when he stepped into office.

Anything you say or almost-think makes no difference to the rest of America.

Obama and his policies have been an abject failure, as socialism has been 100% historically.

Obama, and those that defy logic and clear thinking by supporting his policies, will never learn that the rainbow and unicorn utopia you so dream about will NEVER happen in America.

I hope for your sake it happens! You, Obama and the other droolers can have your very own socialist utopia! I am sure there is an island off of China you all could inhabit so you can daily breathe the air that Mao Tse Tung once breathed!

Just think how wonderful that would be for you!

Now that you have focused on what you THINK Romney will do, why don't you turn that keen attention to what Obama has DONE.

Let's hear about that!

Until then, America must do some painful things to free us from the ONE PARTY GOVERNMENT that has been crushing our nation for the last 50 years.

As for Obama, karma will be a B!TCH!

Romney says security leaks 'political,' calls for probe into 'contemptible' conduct

Mitt Romney accused the Obama administration Tuesday of leaking sensitive security information for "political advantage," calling for a "full and prompt" investigation after a top Democrat said the White House appears to be responsible for some of the leaks.

Romney seized on a comment Monday from Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. "I think the White House has to understand that some of this is coming from their ranks," the senator told a World Affairs Council forum.

How about millions spent for solar energy company that HE KNEW was going under? How about millions, could be billions, of stimulus dollars sent to overseas companies?

Barack Obama:

“Over the next four months, you have a choice to make. Not just between two political parties, or even two people. It’s a choice between two very different plans for our country. Gov. Romney’s plan would cut taxes for the folks at the very top, roll back regulations on big banks… But you know what? We tried that top-down approach. It’s what caused the mess in the first place. I believe the only way to create an economy built to last is to strengthen the middle class, asking the wealthy to pay a little more … so that we can afford to invest in education, manufacturing, and home-grown American energy. Sometimes politics can seem very small. But the choice you face, it couldn’t be bigger.”
