Someone was talking about an employer who couldn't find qualified help. That company was called Click Bond, Inc. I did a quick search and found their website. On their homepage, I found a link called "Careers" and clicked it. There I found a link to their job vacancies and couldn't help but to notice that they allow prospects to apply on line. It is pretty much like that for all large companies.
That is true, and most large and small companies also advertise on site like Monsterjobs.com

Did their site list the positions and qualifications ?

<quoted text> Your claim was that MOST corporations offered advancement training and MOST line employees choose social aspects of work over taking advantage of the education offered. Stop back peddling.
Most companies will never promote an entry level employee without some type of company training. Either hands on training, residential schooling or online courses. Like I said before, check out your company's web page and find the employee portal. There you will be able to file an EO Complaint, make a suggestion, find employee resources and even take online courses to make you a more valuable asset to the company.

Hogwash. You don't think for a second that she's a commie. Certainly, you know a lot more about living that kind of life than Rose does. After all, you work with a one for all and all for one group of "below the radar" firm members. Share and share alike and don't let nobody say nothing identifying 'bout nobody working with POS on a job! After all, you're the straw boss who insists that NOBODY shows up on a job with any identification.

I only hope you don't go down in a mass accident or explosion while on the job. The people who hired you will have to bulldoze the whole lot of you in one great big anonymous sink hole in order to avoid further problems and frivolous lawsuits.

Yes. The site had quite a few position openings in several different locations across the US. Each listing outlined the duties and qualifications for the position advertised. A simple copy and past will make preparing a resume with all the key words and phrases quick and easy.

Stop blaming our college graduates who are the victims saddled with debt and masters degrees without employment.
So you condone the slave labor in China, Pakistan, Indonesia, et cetera, where the American CEO makes a killing?
Steve Jobs of Apple sells you and I Billions of dollars of goods mostly made in China.
All those college students are not victims. Those who got degrees in humanities, art, liberal arts and the like having only themselves to blame. Sure, they have a $35,000.00 student loan. Instead of extending their high school years, they should had focused on what they were going to do in life as far as having a career.

I agree that many college grads are having difficulties finding jobs. I also know many grads seek work that their diplomas mean nothing. We do need to bring the jobs back here but we also need to get the goverment out of the job sector.

BTW, Steve Jobs is dead and has been for a couple of years. Bill Gates is open game for sending jobs over seas and cutting Americans short. Warren Buffet is the biggest thief of all. He knows how to play both sides. A man who has been evading taxes and remains free to roam.

How the wealth gap is damaging the U.S. economy
What's so bad about the rich getting richer?
Plenty, according to ratings agency Standard & Poor's. While the issue has been debated for decades, the actual income gap in the U.S. has been worsening and now is approaching an "extreme" threshold that threatens to hamper long-term economic growth, the agency said in a report on Monday.
Already, the huge gap between the haves and have-nots is crimping the U.S. economy, with

Wealth rebounds — but mostly for the wealthy
By Rick Newman

The Exchange

America is rich again — if you add up all the money. But a familiar, unhappy tale is playing out as the nation recovers the household wealth lost from 2007 to 2012.

The total amount of household net worth hit a new record of $80.7 trillion at the end of 2013, according to the Federal Reserve. That’s certainly better than the grueling declines that occurred during the twin housing and stock-market busts. But a deeper look at the numbers shows that the kind of wealth held primarily by the affluent — financial assets — has soared beyond prior levels, while the most common middle-class asset — home equity — is still far below prior highs

Still, the flow of money the Fed has been trying to pump into the economy has dried up before trickling down to many middle-class families. Of course, it’s better to have the wealthy back on their feet, in Prada footwear, than to have nobody back on their feet at all. But the middle class still has much further to go before it reclaims its prior level of prosperity. America isn’t quite as rich as the headline number suggests.

The rich get richer, the rest get squat, thanks Barry you douchebagging, lying, hypocritical failure.

Shortage of manual labor provides unique trades opportunities for young adults
http://www.jsonline.com/homes/additionalfeatu...
Easing the burden
In an attempt to manage the labor shortage burden, workers are inviting their adult children to work alongside them. Skilled trades are often passed down from generation to generation, with the younger set being educated on the job. A “learn and earn” proposition, the addition of apprentice offspring provides “a lot of productivity when we need it,” said Belman, owner of Belman Homes Inc. and recently named Wisconsin Builders Association Rising Star.

According to a recent National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) survey, June 2012 – March 2013 builders reported at least some shortage increase in 12 labor categories, including plumbers, carpenters and electricians. Among the reasons are a smaller demographic pool with Generation X and a more technologically focused population of Generation Y (whose population is comparable to baby boomers), said a Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) spokesperson.“Our challenge will be to compete for this population to choose our industry,” he said.

In the meantime, in addition to tradesmen inviting sons and daughters to work with them to ease the labor shortage, Belman finds his company paying higher wages to workers and even splitting crews in half to cover more construction sites.
