ironically, when taken piece by piece, most republicans like the law.
it's the "how to pay for it" part they don't seem to like.

He WASTED the first two years on this messy TAX! He had a filibuster proof house and senate, could have done anything he wanted, JOBS comes to mind, you know that "Three Letter word of Biden's" J O B S! But no, he gave Nancy and Harry free rein to do whatever there progressive little hearts wanted, no matter how stupid and complicated and convoluted it became. Some of the wording is so stupid that it has been rendered incomprehensible, other wording gave so much power to some unelected board of supervisors to decide just what care we can get or not, that all of us are in danger. AND, way too many people now think they get FREE HEALTH CARE, many went to employeers and told them they wanted their FREE health insurance now. They are so stupid that they don't realize that the MIDDLE CLASS will be hit hardest as they now have to BUY THE TOP SHELF PLAN REQUIRED by this law and if they don't they have to PAY A TAX TO THE IRS, starting low with only around $700 a year now up to close to $3000 a year in 2014. Do the progressive lemmings even know that? With this vote, not meaningless BTW, we now know just which dems. are willing to levy this huge TAX on the middle class and you can bet your bippy that the Repb. opponents of them will announce that little tidbit loud and clear. LOL - they got snookered for sure.

Repeating DNC talking points will not get you any respect. Republicans like SOME of the stuff in this bill, and if they had been allowed to contribute anything, which they weren't, this bill could have been so much better, shorter and easier to understand. But NOOOOOOO, the dems.(Nancy and Harry) locked them out, threw away any and all suggestions the repbs. made reminding them that Elections have consequences" and as Obama said, "I won". Too bad, the kids on until 26 is easy and cheap to do, the preconditions rule is a good one, the cost is not, the rationing, and we all know there will be rationing, isn't, the costly mandates to doctors and hospitals and health providers is stupid, the added cost to ins. companies with all the bells and whistles they have to do, rather than provide insurance is stupid, the reduction in paid services for Medicade and Medicare is stupid, more doctors will NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE those patients, they can't affort to take them and still meet expenses. If you actually knew what was in this mess, rather than just repeat the DNC talking points, you would sing a different tune. Do you even know how much more this is going to cost you?

Maybe by the time it gets to the Senate, they will have found out the new and revised estimated cost of Obamacare over the first decade:

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obamacare...

It's up to $2.6 trillion now! Just a bit over what Obama promised @$9 BILLION.

Can Obama, Pelosi, Reid & Co. ever tell the truth?

If Republicans repeal Obamacare will the Republicans demand Insurance Companies to lower their rates back to where they were before Obamacare?

Uhhh...Capitalism means the market will control the price. Our government cannot demand the Insurance companies do anything.

It's interesting that you admit Insurance companies have already raised prices on their clients. Now we find out that Obamacare is going to cost $2.6 trillion over 10 years. Proves this president has no clue about economics or business.

We're going to require them to allow cross state line competitions, which will ultra lower costs, dummy. Republicans pay the taxes for nobama supporters food stamps and welfare.

We have crony capitalism in America and have for many many many years. Markets are distorted by the subsidies given to certain markets which means markets does not control price. Insurance companies will not lower prices not because of the market but because they do not have to and can charge what they want to. More people drop there insurance they will raise premiums on others.
Eliminate the tax deductions for corporations to deduct the health insurance they pay for employees.

Could it be that Romneycare (in MA) was passed the Feds would pay for it?

Americans don't seem to want to pay (taxes) for government --- borrowing is cussed, but it is how Americans are willing to fund government.

Lower rates before Odumbo care They will be MUCH lower and you will NOT have the Government between you and your doctor dictating what procedures you can or can NOT have.
Odumbo's HCB is EVIL and geared to eliminate the middle class and bankrupt the system
We have alway had For Profit Insurance Executives determining patients health care NOT doctors or patients. For Profit Insurance Executive have dictated what procedures a patient can have or can NOT have. Excessive Executive Salaries and Compensation through out the Health Care System has caused the costs of Health Care to keep going up even before the New Health Care Law.

If we are in a global economy then we should be able to buy health insurance any where in the world and go anywhere in the world for health care with our insurance also. Hell we can not even but openly across state lines. Why? Insurance monopoly bribing congress.

Yep, and the market has set the cost of healthcare in the US of A higher than any other industrialized country. Caveat Emptor
Note: since most Americans health care is paid by employers (at least most of it anyway) it seems a good business choice to move jobs overseas to countries where health care costs are paid or controled by the government. Less personnel cost, more profits.
