Religious freedom is being taken away and being replaced with religious persecution. Try refusing to service a LGBT wedding based on your religious beliefs.

How right (no pun intended) you are, Tinkerbell. The last thing America needs is a president who advocates policies that brazenly reflect the actual will of Americans. It's our god-mandated duty to impose our interpretation of the bible on all Americans. The bible clearly states god did not create Adam and Steve, just as it specifically prohibits the baking of a cake for their wedding  ("Let there be no nuptial ceremony involving preparations of grain where consummation thereof witnesseth nothing but false begetting," Jebusaynobiscuits 13:22).

As the obvious winner of this month's Topix Low Information Accusation Irony Award, your attempt to misdirect the focus of the discussion by trying to rebrand it with your creative "other words" is duly noted. You've done your best to force the square peg of fact that President Obama sought to define this year's elections as a stark choice between Republicans pushing failed policies from a bygone era and Democrats advocating freedom and opportunity for all Americans into the round hole of the bottomless pit that is Fox's welfare queen script.

You were just a trifle to witty for them to comprehend.

Thanks, Tony. As you may suspect, I harbor no illusion about their comprehension skills. Besides, they rarely seem to have any interest in comprehending, being dedicated merely to repeating Fox scripts. That being boring, I sometimes prefer to infuse rhetoric that at least I consider amusing.

When we are equal, dependent on Government for welfare, food stamps, healthcare, and free phones who will pay the taxes to provide these things? I can't wait to be able to sleep in on these snowy mornings, spending my afternoons waiting for the mail man with my check. What a wonderful life that will be.

Populist themes, is it?
Would that be like "focus like a laser on jobs?"
Or, maybe "raise the minimum wage even if it costs a half million jobs."
Or perhaps something like "if you like your health insurance plan you can keep it."

Stupidity becomes you. No one is trying to mandate religion to a Godless people. We have already be told in scripture to not cast our pearls before swine.

It would be better to just follow Jesse Jacksons suggestions and cut his nuts (that he don't use) off.

Yeah verily, R, Jebusaynobiscuits 13:22.

Of course, some may recognize it in those more loosely translated modern English versions as Jebusaynobisquick 13:22, but I personally prefer the unique challenges and opportunities afforded by the trusty old King James version. In our home, we inevitably seem to lapse wistfully with great abandon into Elizabethan English as we gather around the large family dinner table to receive nourishment and then later, of course, after vespers while indulging in a modestly portioned demitasse of hot cocoa with some of those little marshmallows of many colors before retiring for the night.
