The economy was weak in Clinton's first two years as President, then Newt Gingrich and the Republicans took over Congress and helped creat a boom with the Contract for America.<quoted text>
When Clinton was president the economy created 23 million jobs.
When George W. Bush was president the economy lost 8 million job.
Does that answer your incomprehensibly stupid question?
It was no coincidence that the economic numbers stayed pretty good until the Dems regained control of the Congress in 2006, with Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.
AT THE TIME:
* The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
* The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
* The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
It should also be noted that Bill Gates and Steve Jobs lead the American tech boom in the 90's, creating millions of jobs for Americans and the ignorant Clinton attacked the job-creating Microsoft because Gates wouldn't pay juice money to the Power Structure.
