Excellent job of pointing out what a put-up job this whole "debate" over jobs is. It's all about gaining partisan advantage....Obama is just playing the reTHUGlican game here.

Just as he's playing their deficit game, too. They've dictated the terms of the debate, and made nearly everyone believe that it's the deficit, not jobs and the economy, which is important.

Obama is a wimp and a loser. Most of this "additional money for jobs" he's proposing is just tax cuts, anyway - again, a reTHUGlican "solution."

Says Limbot. You can't even wipe yourself and you're certainly not on the preferred list for any politician to clear anything with you before presented to the public.

Spam away McDuff. It proves you're losing.

You will have to wait awhile for the GOP debate. It happened yesterday. Since the debaters had nothing to say, I can understand that you think it did not occur.

It won't be long and Bachmann will pull the pegs from the ground and fold her tent.
She got only courtesy attention at the debate.

More of these kinds of jobs?

"Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation have raided the offices of Solyndra, the now bankrupt solar energy company that the Obama administration helped secure $500 million in federally-backed loans.

Solyndra left 1,100 workers jobless."

Re: Obama's jobs plan:
"Solyndra LLC was held up as the model for government investment in green technology. Before it announced last week that it was filing for bankruptcy and laying off 1,100 workers, it was touted by President Barack Obama as a beneficiary of his administration’s economic policies."

well tonight is going to be a great night for obama
giving a speech on jobs. i can not wait for it..

i can see it now.
you bad republican needs to stop my plan obama will say. we need more worker and we will have more government jobs waiting for these people.

we need to get more people to relie on the govenment for their needs.

we need to spend 400 billion on this and i expect you republican to be in line to make it happen.

you will give me a higher cap on our debt limit to make it happen

when i am done we will have more government worker working for us. they will never turn on us again
they will need us to pay their wages

for private companies as long they are still here we will charge them more in taxes until they move out of here

obama is a joke as apresident and a democrat i am will not vote for him.

we need a leader that he is not
we need a person who has had employees working for him and expect a pay check at the end of the week.
he never own a company or was in charge of a company so he has no skills.

he need good honest people in his cabinet but instead he has crooks and tax cheats in charge except the two great men he put in charge of the c.i.a and the head of the miltary how that happen still amazed me that he did do it..

This is Barry in desperation re-election mode, another stimulus package that's not a stimulus package, more insanity. We have Princess Pelosi renaming the stimulus, however that isn’t going to fool anybody. The public is concerned with the towering federal debt, the fact that the previous stimulus failed to produce jobs just more excessive government spending. Calling the plan “job creation” instead of “stimulus” won’t hide its price tag. How about those new unemployment claim numbers released today, another 414,000 American's out of work. Now we have the Union Army declaring war on the Tea Party. The Bitter Black Caucus crying that the Tea Party is nothing more than a racist organization. His mindless minions attack anyone or any organization that disagrees with this dolt and his cadre of imbeciles. Their good with labeling them as unpatriotic, or obstructionists, standing in the way of recovery. Just more DEFLECTION OF FAULT AND RESPONSIBILITY.

The republicans are so stupid. Every time they obstruct progress they're digging their own graves. Wait until the election is underway. He is going to bury them in their own sh**

He is desperate to dig us out of this hell hole the republicans put us in. Did you think 8 years of f*** up the economy could be turned around in three years? Do you think the republicans care about the american people? If they did they would have accepted the presidents proposals. He has been willing to compromise to the point of angering his own base, but he's blocked at every turn by these republican a-holes.

The fact is, the stimulus wasn't big enough. The only think the republican mantra of cutting taxes has ever done is increase the deficit. Check out Reagan's record. Every economy under the supposed fiscally responsible republicans has tanked.

What's going to happen is the presidents going to say during the elections, look I offered the republicans compromises to help the american people and they refused every time. They do not care about our country. They are beholden to the Tea Party, to CEOs that make 10 times more than you do, they want to destroy unions and take away rights you fought hard for.The sound bites are out there. I tell you the republican party is digging its own grave.

They're going to paint Perry as Bush III and talk about how he thinks social security is a ponzi scheme. There goes the old people vote. I am praying for the democrats to have the cajones to call the republicans out for the looney toons they are.

If you want to live in a third-world theocracy where workers have no rights and minorities and women are treated like second class citizens, you go on and vote republican. I won't be. They're insane.
