Reagan increased Social Security Tax Contributions one time, that was one of the eleven tax increases implemented by Ronald Reagan.....

You're lying or exaggerating. There was never "multiple" efforts to address Social Security and Medicare between the Reagan fix and Obamacare which extended the life of Medicare for 8 years.

ROFLMAO...... you know all of what I'm saying is traceable on the internet, right?

Social Security Trust was solid,$2.6 Trillion solid, after Bush borrowing it's no longer solid, there is all of this talk about owing China, the United States owes the Social Security Trust more than they own China and any other nation for deposits of those nations reserves.

Here's another lie, America is no Greece, It's so now that other Countries, China among them pays America to hold their Trillions in Reserves. It's no different than having a bank account at Bank or America, there's a cost associated for putting your money there.

The Simple solution to address Medicare and Social Security is to remove the cap and tax all earnings for contributions instead of riding on the back of the Middle Class and Poor to fun Social Security and Medicare.

How does Social Security and Medicare take away from other federal programs, Social Security and Medicare for the hundredth time are not supported by the general budget..... That's a lie to believe those accounts have any responsibility for budget deficits and National Debt.

How is it you people come here to discuss politics and haven't a clue how your Federal Government operates is beyond the pale.

It's an outright lie that Social Security and Medicare contributes to the debt. When a politician tells you other wise they are playing you for a fool without intelligence to seek out the truth for you own benefit.

<quoted text> America has been moving left for half a century. Who are you kidding? Many cities and states have been affected and the people taxed heavily. There was a mass movement in the 1980's to fix social security when the boomers were younger and before they went on their final binge buying during the Clinton years. But the cries of hate came streaming down and they "fixed" it with a boatload of tax increases saying the system would be solvent for at least 75 years. By the time Bush became president the Boomers spending was slowing as they began to think more about retirement. Bush even tried to change the system in the middle of his administration but was rebuffed and frankly rightfully so. Eliminating those programs would be political suicide. The problem is those programs take away from other programs both parties like in a declining nation. Politicians live for the present not caring about the future. And Obama is doing the same thing forestalling the inevitable, making it worse and will help to bankrupt and impoverish tens of millions more people then he already has. Because of these sociopaths and psychopaths that people like you adore and love especially if there is a D next to their names, there are going to be a majority of boomers living week to week and near poverty. Anyone who has earned a living and worked their lives has been screwed. And the wails that will come from those who never have is just starting to form.

The Election of Barack Obama was not nearly the fatal mistake of Election George Bush. Not by a long shot.

Of the current 15.8 Trillion in National Debt,$6.3 Trillion was posted on the books by George Jr,$1 Trillion by George Sr, and $1.6 Trillion by Ronald Reagan, that's $9 Trillion of the $15.6 Trillion in current debt all in the last 33 years posted by Republican Presidents or more than 60% of all the debt accumulated by America since George Washington.

Republicans have no leg to stand when it comes to spending, for Crying out Loud, George Bush and the Republican ran America straight into Bankruptcy in 2008, by Bush's own admission, Financial Armageddon.

Some of you guys in your blind support of the Republican destructive policies are day dreaming of a time that never came under Republican rule.

These liberal scum have nothing at all to worry or compalain about now. Yeah they went and pulled their revenge voting shit and look at what it got them. It got them exactly what we told them it would 4 years ago. It got them jobless, it got them homeless, and it got them starving. They proved just how stupid they truly are - too stupid to survive.

Now that they have no buinsesses to hire them, no money, no house, and no way to get food let's just see if THEY can muster up the power to be able to start a buisness in this Failure that was once the USA. They are in for a REAL awkening when they try that and realize that communist manifesto they guinsed asa healthcare bill is THE very thing that will stop them from even being able to open the doors of a buisness without starting out bankrupt and going downhill from there. Again, they will be left starving even IF they took action. We already knbow they won't. They have always yakked incessant bullshit, but they have never actually done anything in their worthless lives. They werer born failures, have lived to fail, they failed at life, and are now failing at survival also.

Natural Selection is a grand thing indeed. When the last one of them drops dead they will not be missed. They have been a cancer that ate away the USA and caused the downfall of that Country, and at the same time were a cancer to the world, and now that they have finally killed the host that was keeping them alive, they in turn will perish with it.

Your post is VERY misleading and so boldly hides the facts it is ridiculous! You indicate $9 Trillion of the $15.6 Trillion in current debt is the responsibility of Republican Presidents in the past 33 years. That is correct. Reagan, Bush Sr., and Bush Jr. accumulated $9 Trillion in debt over 20 years in office. Reagan - 8, Bush Sr.- 4, and Bush Jr.- 8.

What you fail to mention is Obama has accumulated almost $6 Trillion in 4 years!!!!!!!!!! Compare this!$9 Trillion in 20 years and almost $6 Trillion in 4 years!!!!!! Hello??????

Ronald Reagan’s First Term –$656 billion increase

No surplus.......Clinton lied. Based the surplus on the dot.com industry tax base which did not materialize after the dot.com bust. This is how you lefties said Bush "squandered" a surplus that never existed.

Debt after Bushl 10 trillion, debt now over 16 trillion in only four years.......dem math.

Financial Report of the United States Government - 2000

The U.S. Government is again reporting an accrual-based surplus, which this year is $46 billion. Additionally, this past year the size of the Federal debt held by the public has been reduced by $223 billion. All 24 major agencies completed their financial statements on time and the quality of their reporting continues to improve. The Joint Financial Management Improvement Program has established a Governmentwide financial software certification process that is beginning to ensure that commercial systems being purchased by the Federal Government meet its requirements.

The Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards Number 17 “Accounting for Social Insurance” became effective in fiscal year 2000.

The Health Care law only apply to employers with 50 employees or more. It's doubtful it's because of the Health Care Bill that someone willing, will not open a competitive business.

That makes no sense, as written the health care bill only affects 25% of American Small Business owners, the vast majority Americans are employee at Small Business with less than 50 employees.

Politically, it was your people in 2008 on duty, who set the policies that utterly destroyed the American Financial System and Economy. It's taken Yeoman's work by President Obama to right the ship and restore sanity in the face of obstruction by the Republicans with record filibusters and service cuts that lead to public service employees being laid off during the Bush Depression. Despite those destructive efforts, President Obama manage to come through his first term with a net jobs gain in the private sector as compared to the 8 million jobs loss through outsourcing under George Bush's policies.

This President single handily lifted America out of the muck that George Bush and the Republicans abandoned the country in 2008.

To believe much of anything else is screw ballish, nuts and straight ole bizarre.

Obama considers corporate funding for 2013 inauguration

President Barack Obama's fundraising advisers have urged the White House to accept corporate donations for his January 2013 inaugural celebration rather than rely exclusively on weary donors who underwrote his $1 billion re-election effort.

OH NO, NOT THOSE EVIL CORPORATE DOLLARS WE HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT FROM THE LEFT. More candy for the candynanny.

And that happened BEFORE the real increase arrives, namely ObamaCare. We're going bankrupt and are drowning in debt. What does Obama do? He starts another ginormous give-away program!? We already can't pay for the ones we have!

Liberals can't do simple math and have no common sense. They think that piling trillions of debt upon the shoulders of the unborn is moral and righteous. In reality it's nothing more than inter-generational child abuse. It's literally stealing candy from babies!

Don't expect them to see the light until we collapse. Liberalism is a mental disease born of mass-hysteria, not unlike communism or fascism. It's blind allegiance to an irrational uptopian dream which will NEVER come true.

I'm not sure they will see the light even then! They will blame it on Bush! This President has blatantly disregarded our Constitution and the Dems are completely blind to it. It disturbs me that this administration is so corrupt and nothing is done about it. The Prez just invokes "executive privilege" and nothing further is done.
