When you become homeless, first your health suffers, then you become mentally ill as you realize your entire country and abandoned you as a useless being.
After that, you become vulnerable to the temptation of trying to escape the unbearable life you have, by turning to drugs and alcohol, more and more each day.

That's when the masses, who caused homelessness in the first place, complain that you're a problem for them, and are homeless because you were first a drug addict or alcoholic.
THEY are the cause of homeless because they do nothing to demand an end to the policies that created this epidemic that has claimed lives for 3 decades. They believe the mental problems belong to the homeless, but ignore their own inhumanity.

The American people will continue to suffer until they stop killing each other off, until they value human life over Republican greed. It's outrageous that they've allowed their fellow human beings to be persecuted for THREE DECADES, ever since Republican Ronald Reagan first created the homeless crisis.

For those of you who couldn't care less about others, think about this. The numbers of homeless people continues to rise and YOU COULD BE NEXT. As the American people refuse to learn to stand together against the evil that comes from their politicians, more of them will pay the ultimate price. Today we hear of more financial disasters coming our way, so do you really think it won't hit you?
If you're not part of the solution, you're automatically one of those committing murder, every day of your life.
See next post for details and solutions.

http://www.topix.com/forum/us/T5VDVLD7BH6JTTN... - help fight Obama’s health care bill, then we’ll have the power to stop homelessness.
Homelessness is big business. Many organizations seem to be set up to fight the problem, but if it was stopped, they’d all be out of jobs. If they were effective, homelessness would be declining, because they have the ability to do that (more later). So they’re not advertised here.

This is the last chance for a Homeless March before elections this year.
Homelessness kills, and we have to END homelessness, not continue to sustain this inhumane situation. It's a national disgrace.
The public is urged to contact the homeless, or homeless organization, and march with them. They need the emotional support.
Homelessness has continued because politicians have tried to make them invisible.
To end it, the homeless must be made visible, and must be a threat to politicians, which is why it's necessary to protest before elections, or on election day, to remind voters that Republican greed is responsible for the crisis which was created by Republican Reagan in the 80's and was the result of his trickle-down economics fraud. Contact the following to promote your march, even if it's only one person.

This was first posted over a year ago. You could have saved thousands of lives by now if you had helped to end the insanity of homelessness.
Republicans aren't going to help -- they created the homeless crisis, and they arrogantly despise the homeless. In their stupidity, they blame the homeless for the Republican greed that caused the Recession.

"The homeless also face persistent deprivation and constant threat of harm. They spend more time in the hospital and in jail than their poor counterparts. The majority are victims of violent crimes, and one fourth lack needed medical care (Burt, Aron, and Lee*).
Children in homeless families do worse in school and have lower attendance and more long-term absences

We must make it common knowledge that the homeless are people in shock. They’ve been victimized by massive corruption. They are your future.
If you’re naïve enough to believe that corruption can’t take everything from you, you‘re living in delusion.
Get out there and PROTEST -
FOR the homeless
AGAINST the Fed

One-Third of Shelter Residents Are Newly Homeless
"It's quite possible that the uptick in physical violence ... is due to a friend or family member's feeling of desperation and helplessness accompanying their unemployment and underemployment," said John Ashmen, president of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions
"We've seen quite a significant increase in numbers with women and children. In two years the average daily population in our women and children?s shelter more than doubled," Roscoe said.
"Unfortunately, nothing in the report is a huge surprise," Ashmen said. "Some public figures like to give the impression that government programs are curbing homelessness and hunger. We certainly aren't seeing it."

Liberals:
That post is from another right-winger who wants you to know that 'liberal' means goodness. It means helping people and saving lives.
In this case, it means that those who write the truth about the homeless should be attacked, proving again that truth is something right-wingers hate. Their entire philosophy about life is based on hatred, and that's why they choose political parties (Republican, Tea Party, Libertarian, Nazi, etc.) that are built on hatred and lies.
Be grateful your parents cared enough about you to make sure you didn't grow up to be twisted and suicidal. That poster blames an entire state for his problems, instead of parents who didn't care, because it‘s easier to blame others instead of facing the truth.

In reality, about 16 percent of Americans are living in poverty, or roughly 49 million people, according to The Salvation Army.
About two of every five Americans reported having received assistance from a charitable group, including food from food banks or financial assistance/housing support. Individuals who currently have lower household incomes are much more likely to have needed assistance, with 63 percent of Americans earning less than $25,000 having received assistance. Among Americans ages 35-54, nearly half said they received assistance at some point in their lifetime.
About one in eight Americans reported having spent a night in a shelter or on the street due to a loss of housing. Those who currently have lower household incomes are much more likely to have experienced a lack of shelter: About a quarter of Americans who earn less than $25,000 annually reported sleeping in a shelter or on the street. The number dropped to 6 percent among those earning at least $50,000 annually.
