REP. JOE BARTON (R-TX):“This is a huge undertaking and there are going to be glitches. My goal is the same as yours: Get rid of the glitches. The committee will work closely with yourself and Dr. Mark McClellan at CMS to get problems noticed and solved.”[Barton Statement via Archive.org , 2/15/2006]

TOP HOSPITALS OPT OUT OF OBAMACARE - Despite claims by the Obama administration that insurances companies will be competing for consumer dollars under ObamaCare, a new survey by watchdog.org shows many of America’s top hospitals will accept insurance from only one or two companies. U.S. News and World Report has more.

Now Google and Oracle have donated personnel to help make the ACA marketplace website and backend software work.

Boy have they stepped into a tremendous pile of stinking shit. The code created by CGI et al (upwards of 1/2 million lines worth) will have to be scrapped and rewritten. The idiots at CMS are not skilled enough or aware enough to test and evaluate it, good code or bad.

Google and Oracle will deeply regret this ill advised rescue mission.

Oops! Correction: it's 1/2 BILLION lines of code, not 1/2 million lines of code.

ACA web site won't be fixed by end of November as promised: http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health...

They need to stop making promises they cannot keep. It makes them look as stupid as the really are.

Was CGI et al required to post a performance bond for the 1/2 billion lines of useless code they produced? If they did, looks like it's time to file a claim for that.

They have a facade up, never mind that there is nothing of any substance going on in the backend of the system. Typical smoke and mirrors governmental 'appease the masses' bullshit methodology. Now the circus of incompetent government clowns trying to catch up and deal with the massive amount of data pouring in begins...or does it?
