Ignoring Fox and reading books can seriously damage your ignorance! For two years now, Trump has worked on, not what he can add, but what he can take: Your Citizenship, your Healthcare, your Vote, your Medicare, your Social Security, your Clean Environment, the Freedom of the Press. He is making America less ... not Great! Running so overtly on racially tinged messages, the GOP is going all out on explosive politics and yet are calling out democrats on violence? Running a campaign on blunt, race-based attacks on immigrants and minorities. The problem for Republicans is that the nation is moving swiftly in the direction of Democratic demographics.

I can see the future. Ted Cruz is going to visit Bozo O'Dork tomorrow night and hand him a package.

Ted Cruz: "Here you go Bozo O'Dork"
Bozo opens package: "Is that my ass?"
Ted Cruz: "Yes Bozo O'Dork, I just handed your ass to you!"

About 130,000 more residents left California for other states last year than came here from them, as high costs left many residents without a college degree looking for an exit, according to a Sacramento Bee review of the latest census estimates.
They most often went to cheaper, nearby states — and Texas. Since 2001, about 410,000 more people have left California for Texas than arrived from there. That’s roughly equivalent to the population of Oakland.

Today, on the eve of a closely fought election that will determine who runs Capitol Hill.“For more than 200 years, Congress operated largely as the country’s founders envisioned — forging compromises on the biggest issues of the day while asserting its authority to declare war, spend taxpayer money and keep the presidency in check, that model is effectively dead.
It has been replaced by a weakened legislative branch in which debate is strictly curtailed, party leaders dictate the agenda, most elected representatives rarely get a say, and government shutdowns are a regular threat because of chronic failures to agree on budgets

Typical for a liberal to not understand the separation of powers, but then again that is what we dealt with for 8 years of Obama. No wonder the Supreme Court had to vote 9-0 for him exceeding his authority. Thanks, that is good to remember. Another reason to vote Republican.

Hmmm?
Same post as on another thread.
And still as one sided.
If you want compromise then support those who do it.

"keep the presidency in check"...?
That's not the rhetoric you were slinging when Obama was riding high doing pretty much whatever he wanted? Executive orders and presidential arrogance was a turn on to you just a few years ago.
The Obama fetish... Well it's just a fading memory now.

The left could do exactly what you posted. It could compromise and accept that some people don't agree with leftist dogma. It could work WITH those people. Ya think the abusive arrogance the left has harnessed to attack Jack the baker and Bret Kavanaugh qualifies as compromise?
Riiiight.

Trump WILL be willing to compromise. Just like Bill Clinton did, he'll be willing to burn some of his constitutes if it means he gets twice as much independent support. The problem is this... Trumps opponents are obsessed. Clinton's opponents COULD be compromised with. Trumps opponents are on a crusade. They won't compromise. It won't happen.
