May 10, 2010 Full story: Seattle Post-Intelligencer 22

Washington's special climate envoy conceded Monday the U.S. may not have a climate and energy bill in place when the next major global warming conference is held in Mexico late this year, but insisted the legislation is not crucial to those talks.

After the Gulf oil disaster you would think that patriotic Americans would realize that we need to get serious about energy and the environment; but once again right-wingers are proven to be unpatriotic and a detriment to this nation’s well being.

The right-wingers reaction to the Climate Bill shows how ignorant and dangerous these Neanderthals are. If only we could ship these stupid right-wingers to the Gulf of Mexico to tread water near the BP oil spill…“Spill Baby Spill”.

When Nancy Pelosi takes 3 military jets to the Copenhagen Climate Change meeting and commercial jets for staff, when 321 hotel rooms are reserved for travelers, food is furnished for travelers there is an example of "Let them Eat Cake"

Pelosi sends the military jet across the USA to cart her children and grandchildren home to CA.

John Kerry has a private jet and numerous mansions that suck up electricity. Pelosi has a mammoth home.

These people want the masses to do without and cutback but they don't practice what they 'preach'.

They are all maneuvering to get investments in companies that will profit from what they are planning for us. Heavy duty taxation, restrictions.

After the disgraceful manner in which the health care bill was shoved through Congress, it is unlikely that either the House, which contains many members in a precarious bids for reelection and those senators who are also trying to maintain their seats, will attack anything so controversial as a climate bill. I find it amusing that our legislators are so presumptuous as to try to control the capriciousness of Mother Nature.

As I write this, there is a report on television that flights passing close to Iceland are being redirected to Ireland and England because of increased volcanic activity in Iceland. Perhaps we should pass a bill banning foreign and domestic volcanos.Do we honestly think that we mere mortals can simply pass a law and expect to change the myriad forces that affect weather and climate?

It has already been shown that the science that is being used to validate this legislation is doubtful. The research was selectively manipulated in order to reach a preconceived conclusion.

There are people out there who stand to gain a great deal if such legislation is passed. One was well-known for quoting from his favorite song, "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose..." The climate legislation is a good place to start chipping away at our idea of what freedom is..

I doubt you been anywhere near a marine with those comments but on top of it all you run your mouth without providing solutions. Of course your solutions are the failed ideas of wind and solar. Well take a little time to look up what happened to those wind and solar farms that were put together back in the seventies. They are now sitting there abandond with toxic materials leaking into the enviroment for decades.

Now compare that to the safety record in the Gulf. How long has it been since they had any type of accident with a rig in American waters. You have a higher death toll in major cities from things like car wrecks and shootings. Then look at the rigs impact on the enviroment and discover that even with the current spill the balance is still a positive one. More ocean life lives in and around those rigs. They end up acting the part of reefs for the wildlife.

You wnat to get serious about energy and the enviroment then get the left to dump the silly stuff like wind, solar, alterntive fuels based on foodstuff or using land that is currently used to grow food and compact floursent lighting for practical things like nuclear and LED based lighing. Until you give up the feel good for practical your not going to get anywhere.

ALso how did I know what type of person you were. The dead giveaway is Right wing. The only people who are using that are to the far left of Leninn.

The loons will rant, they will spew their spin and mantra's but it will do no good. The liberal loons are in their downward spirals and singing their death songs. Obama has given the loons their 15 seconds of fame, but fortunatly that is all the time we can afford them. Their 15 seconds have been the most expensive in history, but as the School of Hard Knocks, the tuition is high, but the knowledge you learn is a lasting lesson for the future.

You forget that there is NO Global Warming, it was all a lie and a scam for O`Buma and Al Gore and their close friends to rip off hundreds of millions of dollars from the American people. Keep in mind George(Socialist)Soros and the terrorist socialist Andy Stern have invested millions in so called green energy crap. The earth is actually been cooling for the last decade and it cools and heats overtime, it`s a cycle. Think of it as evolution.

What was that you were saying about the Earth cooling for the last decade? Care to walk that back? NASA doesn't agree with you.

So you dispute NASA's findings on the temp increase?

Care to supply a link or documentation of your claim about the Arctic sea ice? I'm pretty certain that is BS.

If you really care to find it, it can be found on the National Snow and Ice Data Center's website.
