Actually, the markets are doing just fine. The shutdown is having no effect on the world economy.
Nobody is talking about default except the Damnocrats.
The issue, in my mind, is representative Government.
If king Obama insists on continuing to rule without the will of the people, it's time for him to go. Yes, it will be painful in the short term, but it's not as if anything positive has occurred during his reign. He must listen or be gone.
The king wants it all. He does not realize that if you ain't got nothin', you got nothin' to lose. Freedom is everything. All else means nothing.
King Obama must be rendered as inconsequential in the USA as the world has exposed him in the wake of his Syria fiasco. Then, we can select a true leader who can build on what he's been given rather than insist on destroying what he's been given. We need a leader who recognizes the value of the American people rather than say they have none. We need a President who can demonstrate he is worthy of all the hope entrusted to him.
Lets narrow this down to one phrase..."the will of the people"....as expressed by elections. By winning twice, The President is..the will of the people" the American people desire the President be given a reasonably fair chance to succeed or fail on merit and not subterfuge
And the market took a very significant downturn...I certainly have been 'taxed' by the shutdown and the sequester, I didn't get all weepy and whiney about you all burning my cash...but.... you guys are screwing things up.

Why would the debt ceiling need to be raised unless king Barack didn't blow the budget?
Again. You're an idiot. You don't know the difference between the debt ceiling and the budget. The more you talk the more people know you're an idiot. What you are asking makes absolutely no sense.

Again---you're an idiot.

Any budget contains both spending priorities and the cash to pay .
Ok so the house authorizes a list of programs and projects that amount to well over a trillion and at the same time forks up $973 billion to pay for it.
Which of those two numbers represents the will of the house?
That's easy.$973 billion.
Next question?

This is not about spending or budgets or appropriations or debt; teaboogers are simply opposed to government.

Sorry, but no. Never. Not ever.
Congress represents the will of the people.
The Presidential office is an executive office, not a representative one.

And, no, the market took a minor downturn in reaction to the jobs report. Take another look. It's OK now that the market understands that "you guys" are being reined in.

Guess there will be stronger words from the republicants about Cruz - over and above "wacko bird" and "fraud".
Has anyone given Cruz a small batch of index cards (a la Palin) as to what will happen if we default on our financial obligations?
Step up, Boehner -
The only way we could default on our obligations is if Obama takes off on another plush vacation. We have money to meet our obligations pookie, just not the low information free riders.

Nope.
The house authorized spending for a $973 billion deficit. No more.
So the Teabagging GOPasaurs authorized almost a TRILLION in deficit spending, and they still try to claim they're fiscal conservatives?

Hilarious.

Obama caused both. There is enough money for our debts, just not enough for entitlement for the low information voters.

You asked the question and I answered. Why are you looking for me to provide a question?(Well, there it is!)

Spend no more than X dollars on Project X. Spend no more than Y dollars on Program Y. It may be that X+Y is more than the authorized budget which includes $973 billion deficit. In any case, spend no more than the authorized amount. This means that priorities and decisions based on those priorities must be made.

The government's portion for Obamacare is OVER 2 TRILLION DOLLARS.

Since we already are $17 trillion in debt, this is just one more expense that will eventually BRING THE GOVERNMENT DOWN.

The political parties can fight among themselves and create a 'distraction', but the reality is that the cost of running the government IS UNSUSTAINABLE!.
