I think it is important to remember that republicans gleefully voted to sell guns to the mentally impaired, allow concealed carry on school campuses and national parks

Who is Stephen Paddock and Marilou Panley? Why did Stephen Paddock start shooting at a country music concert audience at Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas? The strangeness of the shooting incident defies profile guessing. As a 64 year old, Stephen is the oldest mass murderer I can recall in my life time. Most are much younger. An old white men shooting at a country music audience which is usually predominately white people and his room mate, companion, Marilou Panley is not white. So he does not seem to fit the white supremacist profile. Law enforcement officers thus far have revealed that the only run in with the law he has has was moving violation citation resolved in court several years ago. So what motivated this old man become a record breaking mass murderer?

The fact that he had 10 guns in his room and shooting full automatic shows that the Brady Bill Law did not prevent him from getting his hands on full automatic weapons. What is the court going to do now? throw his dead carcass in jail? Like the active shooter, mass murderer, Michael Xavier Johnson who shot 11 Dallas police officers killing 5 of them, he was only stopped when law enforcement officers used explosives to get him.

I think it is important to remember that a DIA report revealed that the Obama Administration was funding, training and supplying islamist terrorists in Syria. Then later, The Obama administration tried to quietly dismiss illegal gun running charges against Marc Turi for supplying Jihadists in Libya with weapons because Hillary Clinton had approved of the transfer of the weapons to the Jihadee terrorists. Just months later, the U.S. embassey came under attack by Jihadee terrorists in which the ambassador and four embassy security employees were killed. Hillary's response when questioned in a congressional investigation: "What difference does it make? They are dead!"

Democrats supply weapons, money and training to foreign terrorists. But democrats want to take away American's rights to buy and own guns for self defense.

What would you say about Michael Xavier Johnson? Maybe something like what Obama had said, "He looks like he could have been my son."

This incident already looks false flaggy to me, but based on just the demographic details of the suspect, his female friend, the audience of targets (victims) it appears we're headed for revelations that this guy is anti right wing, like the alleged Scalise shooter was purported to be. The fact that supposed ISIS supposedly made some claim of involvement is utterly irrelevant. If we have a Three Mile Island type incident next week ISIS will claim "credit" for that, too.

That's very "organized" in the criminals' cognitive sense for a guy that old to tote that many guns up to a hotel room without being noticed, stay there for a few days without attracting notice, wait all tha time for the concert down below, and then open fire. That shows unusual patience for someone who would have to be in an ultra murderous state of mind. Also, it's unclear why with ten high powered guns there were "only" three bursts of gunfire (as I heard from abc tv) over the four minute or so period of time. It would seem a dedicated mass killer with ten high power rifles could have shot pretty much continually for an entire four minute span without having to pause for seemingly so long for any re loading.

"It take a good casino hotel housekeeper with a gun to stop a bad guy with ten rifles," I think is one takeaway here.

Insane act of white-guy gun violence, so it'll never be called 'terrorism.' That's reserved for those sneaky Moo-slims alone, obviously.

This was just 'unfortunate,' calls for 'thoughts and prayers,' and doesn't change the fact that we 'must defend our constitutional rights.'

Insane. Totally insane country.

This man had automatic weapons. Where did he get them? From the people Hillary gave some to? Or from the people Barak, and his AG gave them to in Mexico? Where ever he got them they weren't cheap.

What are you talking about, cretin? Thanks to the NRA anyone can easily obtain lots of automatic or semi automatic rifles in any even moderately red part of the nation quite easily, whether they're legally allowed to possess them or not.

I'm wondering the same thing, obviously he was illegally in possession of an automatic rifle, wonder if some nice Muslims brought it into the country after Obama and Hillary were busy arming terrorists.

Incorrect. AUTOMATIC rifles are NOT available to ANY civilian unless they were manufactured prior to May 1986. Those firearms are considered NFA items and cost thousands and in some cases tens of thousands of dollars to purchase and a $200 tax stamp is needed along with ATF approval. Typically, a seller will be another individual with the federal paperwork who went through the same process of obtaining the firearm. Any other full auto manufactured after 1986 can only be sold to military or law enforcement or to those with an SOT (special operations tax) which allows them to manufacture them. By the way, quit blaming the NRA. This has nothing to do with them and you know it.

More Americans have died from guns in the United States than on battlefields of all the wars in American history. The NRA and some Americans are willing to sacrifice its people for a gun in their pocket.

It seems we have another leftist parrot in our midst.
If you don't like the NRA then too bad. They have safeguarded our 2nd amendment rights from the vile gun-grabbing Marxists for over 150 years. I can also guarantee you that this shooter was a leftist and that this was a well-planned attack that had others organizing it.
