Apparently, even those not questioning Assad's culpability are opposed to this strike.

This vote is dead.

Keep your eyes on the Saudis if there's no strike. They'll be up to no good again, you can bet on it.

Israel will be impoverished if the House of Saud ever falls. which I'm sure it will some time soon. If ever a ruling family dynasty was hated so much by it's citizens!!

You know, I was surprised and shocked to see Saudi people hate their royalty so strongly.

Speaking of "regime change" it is very likely to happen sooner or later in Saudi Arabia. And the Saudi people will not be needing any help from Washington or Tel Aviv. As for me, I am a Sunni Muslim. But I am absolutely disgusted with what I have seen from Sunnis in Libya and Syria and Egypt.

It'll be the same scenario as in Egypt. The royal despots will be booted out, Bandar will be strung up by one of his concubine's diamond necklaces and the MB or Wahabi or al Qaeda or some such other will take over and we'll look back with nostalgia to those tranquil days when little ol' Iran was the only one on center stage.

My heart aches for the USA. This country has reached its zenith in so many ways. It is down hill from here if we do not get wise leadership. And Obama is not it.

At this point, the USA is still mainly a Christian culture. As such, the USA has absolutely no credibility in the Muslim world, in my opinion. When the USA makes itself look bad by unjustly attacking a country like Iraq and Syria, it closes so many doors in its own face. For example, Muslim countries will not believe any American claims against Syria due to the lies told about WMDs in Iraq. If Obama attacks Syria, it will make Al-Assad stronger and have negative consequences in many other Muslim countries. I hope al-Qaida and similar groups will not gain as they did when the USA attacked Somalia. But they probably will.
