He was making reference to Tartus, Syria. A sea port used by the Russians in Syria. We didn't bomb the Hanoi sea ports in VN due to Russian ships there until toward the end. Same scenario for Tartus. A perfect place to move targets from Our Tomahawks.

Chances are Syria will be attacked by our country.

Assad will put innocent people in harms way. Our rockets will kill and hurt those people.

Who will rebuild what we distroyed? Us.

Assad will look great and we'll look like the big bad wolf.

Every country we tried to help over there turned on us

I think Assad should gather up every child/baby he can find, put them at all possible military targets, video them waiting for the air strikes and put it on TV. What could we really do then?

Get real. The 1% who control the USA call the shots.

They rely on the 99% to do the real dirty work of killing.

The 99% should wake up and realise how they are being SHAFTED DAILY

Well, boots are already on the ground, AlQaida and Al Nusra boots.

And Yes, Saudi will gladly pay for the war, and more IF they win. They only see it as an investment into their future, cause democracy in Saudi Arabia will have no place for Kings and princes. It is almost a do or die for them. They hold a lot of Dollars anyway with nothing to spend on.

They do not have to pay for a life you or I loose. Simple. It is you and I who loose our lives, or feel the loss of a loved one, while they in fact get paid when or if they win.

War time leaders are often most revered and remembered. While the loss of a soldier's life to them is zero, the cost is maybe the price incurred in retraining a replacement. And somtimes,- a solemn speech delivered just right.

I think this sheds a lot of light on the many variables of this war, its players and their motives.

......Watching it live yesterday Kerry tried to leave the door open for boots "if it was necessary for a short time". Then he caved to the pressure and said "absolutely no boots". What I really hated about him was every time he was asked a tough question he said it should be in a classified discussion. I heard that about six times . After the first time it was apparent there would again be no transparency of any kind. Just another backroom abortion of our tax dollars and integrity.

He wanted that option open in case the weapons fell into the wrong hands.

Would the people guarding them abandon them when the Tomahawks arrive? Who knows.

You should have seen Kerry arguing against further involvement in the VN civil war (his words) in 1971 to a similar committee. He was probably sitting at the same table then he was sitting at now arguing for a civil war involvement. Money talks, bull shit walks.

I wonder how many people are going to be saved by getting obliterated by the all seeing all knowing Tomahawk cruise missiles.

drudgereport.com The deal included boots on the ground if necessary, it would take 75,000 to secure the chemical plants.
