GOP Seeks Coverage Choices In Health Law They Hate

Apr 6, 2014 Full story: National Public Radio 44

At the prodding of business organizations, House Republicans quietly secured a recent change in President Barack Obama's health law to expand coverage choices, a striking, one-of-a-kind departure from dozens of high-decibel attempts to repeal or dismember it.

It seems like just yesterday when the tea-bagging GOP was all about defunding and repealing OBAMACARE… 50 votes to repeal; and 50 time they were kicked in the teeth and told,“HELL NO!”

“OBAMACARE IS HERE TO STAY!”

President Obama will go down in history as possibly our greatest President mainly because he fixed our health care system, but also because he single-handedly found and killed Osama bin Laden. But the best thing he did was cause the implosion of the republican Party…
That is my favorite part, LOL!

Democrats are concerned about polls firmly suggesting they are vulnerable to losing the Senate in November and losing more ground in the House.

They have a biased press helping them put out false memes about Obamacare, which failed to even sign up a million enrollees from the previously uninsured. Hospitals continue to lay off more professionals and other staff. They are moving many to part time positions. Doctors continue to leave the profession. Obamacare is about one thing... supporting a pharmaceutical industry in its maintenance of an overwhelmingly drugged society.

People are starting to wake up to the tyranny the Democrats have installed and their abuse of a temporary hold on the Senate and House, when they passed this horrible invasion of personal liberty.

Another indication that the cons have no plan and are too lazy to come up with one. Bitching about the ACA is easier for them. LMAO.

Most people believed that our medical system needed changes. That was before Obamacare. So if the law is here to stay even if the Repubs win big time in November, then of course many of their voters will feel alienated again. Even if you crow a bit. However remember this. This law as pushed through the congress and signed by the president is a cluster ph uk. And now the Republicans have to fix it for you because you can't or won't do it yourselves. So don't crow to much.

Troutboy, wish the press would come to our family and so we could tell them that our family was not happy with our old insurance plan ($2700 per month plus yearly deductible), WE cancelled our old insurance plan, signed up for new 2014 plan, with savings and we keep our doctor too.

It is great for our budget, our peace of mind and our health.

What will be more funny is when the GOP takes the Senate because every Senator voted for Obamacare and America wants revenge!

Imagine when the collectors of some type of government money is 55% then 60% then 65% and higher. That is sanity we can all appreciate. Thank gaia the Einsteins are progressives. But the real issue is that medical way is way overpriced. And both parties must be in on the action to keep the wheels greased as this is a massive tax increase for many people and there is more to come. Government needs money as foreign nations are not happy campers with our economic and financial policies

If you dont like your old plan of chicken wire and duct tape, you can cancel it.

And sign up with better chicken wire and stronger duct tape with the same doctor

Let's say it for better plans!

Most Americans were happy with their old Insurance plan, and their Doctor. Now they are in some kind of medical limbo where they might have insurance, and they might not. They won't know for sure until they try to use it. Then it will be too late, especially in an emergency. Every Democrat voted for ObamaScam, not one Republican voted for it. We will have healthcare again. It will just take a Republican House, and Senate in November to fix it. I know the Democrats would like the Republicans to fix it now so they could take credit for it. Ain't gonna happen.

Boy, responsible folks will get out of their old plans and take time to do their homework. Yes it takes time and patience. But our family have better insurance, we keep our doctor and, yes, we are paying our new - less expensive - monthly premiums.

So most of the 7.1 million people signed up by April 1st were already on Medicaid. Almost none of the enrollees actually pay for the healthcare. It is still a big mess, and now they are bringing it back again in November, 6 days before the election. Republicans can sit on the beach all summer and get elected from the disgruntled Americans. So funny.

Were Obamacare the success he claims, you can bet, ol' doc Obama would be having a presser in his lab coat and stethoscope with throngs of those 'helped' standing dutifully behind him. And there'd be media coverage, and a website with thousands (millions?) of testimonials.

Be sure to take your own water... fainting will make the 'One' look bad.
