Kunta Kinte tried his best to get back to Africa. He would have kissed the Great Emancipator's feet if he was given the opportunity to go back to Africa. I really don't like to talk about slavery anymore, but your statement is ludicrous. Bullying is wrong, it doesn't matter what race the bullies are of.
Do you know what those slaves did when they were released in Liberia? They started up gangs and brutally murdered innocent people in order to take over. They eat their enemies even today.

Agreed,...but I doubt if Hilly will ever become president.
She has grown to old and to fat since Obama gave her a whippin' in 08.
But you can bet your butt John Kerry hasn't given up yet,...he'll be in there again,...but the progressives want a young numbnut like Obama in office.
At any rate,...the country will have again shifted back towords the right by 2016.
Can you say Marco Rubio?
LOL!!!
The Republicans don't have their act together. They should have embraced the liberatarian view along with a modified foreign relations policy. The social conservatives should be ousted once and for all. They have destroyed the Republican party. Barbara Bush, for example, was prochoice and had little interest in getting into the private lives of Americans.

I don't trust Rubio now that I've seen how he is handling immigration. All illegals should be kicked out, no anchor babies........not until we are able to clear our debt and manage the issues that involve legal citizens. It's time to rebuild. It's time for Americans to realize their indiv. potential and their ability to be an independent free thinking people without living under the tentacles of control.

Hi Be Truthful, This thread is made up of older people with too much idle time on their hands, and that includes me. Some obviously are not working but yet they hypocritically complain of others who aren't working. Don't let them get to me? Yes they are angry, but I do realize that most of the hateful talk is just talk. I seriously don't think their as hateful as they seem. I know I really annoy some of them lol. I'm tired of it anyway. You're right, we really don't know the race of everyone we talk to. I could be a 65 year old white man for all they know. It's not worth getting angry at people we don't know. All this race talk is futile. 3 of my great aunts moved from the South to California years ago. Natives of California thought they were white. They had no idea that those 3 white women had a mother who was as black as the night. It would be kind of funny if they started asking people to take a genealogist test before filling out the race section on job applications. Thousands of so called Caucasians would be busted. My 3 great aunts would have been busted if it was a requirement then.
What do you know about the people here? If there are 'older' people here, they may be retired or own their own businesses and work the hours they want. They may be stay at home moms or dads, part time workers....who knows? There is a difference between them and those who sit on welfare not working. BIG difference.

The blame for the plight of the country must be placed at the feet of the politician, and that is both Republican and Democratic politicians.

Here is an example: Obama's Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has sued a couple of business over not hiring people because of back ground checks. The agency indicates that since there is such a high percentage of black males with criminal backgrounds it is unfair to use their backgrounds as a reason not hire. One of the businesses, the Dollar Corporation claims that it wants a safe environment in their stores so they don't want to hire ex criminals.

This is interesting in the light of the recent deaths at the Naval complex.

Would it not make more sense to work to reduce the causes of so much crime in the inner-city?

I know that it seems unfair for a man to work to support his family and makes payments and taxes on his house while his neighbor has a similar Section 8 house for free and his family is being supported by the very same people who work. But there is another view.

Welfare and housing are very good stop gaps solution for those who are financially in trouble. It is not good for people who are second, third, or fourth generation welfare recipients. Yes, they don't work, but look at the life style. No pride in providing for one's family. A lack of ambition. Little need for education. Total dependence. These are human beings who have been reduced to slaves and the politicians who enslave them seek the goodies to continue so the votes will keep them in power.

Years ago our government began "free lunch" for kids whose parents could not afford to buy. Next they went to "free breakfast." There is nothing wrong with that. Now some schools in our area have gone to free lunch and breakfast for EVERYBODY.

I am old, so old that I can remember when there were not even school cafeterias. Parents, including mine, had to pack lunches.
We were as poor as a church mouse, but I always had something in my lunch box. It might be something left over from breakfast or a peanut butter sandwich. My parents had an independent pride that was passed on to me. Second and third generation welfare folks have had that taken from them.

Considering so much money has been thrown at the inner-city, there hasn't been much improvement. Welfare can be a drug which addicts the weak and compels them to rely on the govt. rather than themselves. It's time to change the system and give people a chance to be productive and a chance for the productive to be allowed to reap the benefits rather than give so much of it away. If we didn't have an intrusive govt, we may not have the kinds of problems we do today. Drug the masses with handouts and allow the the liberal elite access to power and control. If the masses had more opportunity to create, market and sell there would be more competition and the liberal elite would have less of an impact on society. Blacks are nothing more than govt. slaves and they don't even know it. A clever scam for the liberal elite when they act as their protectors when in fact they are their jailers.

Yes it certainly would make more sense. But that would only end up costing the politicians the votes they have earned for themselves by providing free government handouts.
There is no common sense in Washington.
But I'm glad you have informed us about Obama forcing businesses to hire black criminals. This is an assault on the very essence of our freedom!
It is nothing short of Fascism!
Forcing a business to hire criminals is tantamount to treason.
This will not stand!
It is our duty to vehemently voice our objection and thereby support the business community from these heinous and illegal attempts to subjugate us and put us all in harms way.
The criminal Obama is trying to tell us how to run our businesses.
They are telling hard working law abiding businessmen that they now must hire violent criminals.
We really need to impeach this abberation that's been inhabiting the White House before he completely ruins our country once and for all.
Really!
WE need to prove him ILLEGAL - a 'usurper'...
That way ALL laws he's put into place will be
"Null & VOID" ...

Hes working to break the financial strength of America by costing the nation anyway he can. Giveaways, welfare, redtape, halting oil and gas exploration, Obumacare, etc etc. When the bank goes broke chaos and social turmoil will erupt damn fast. Its on the way, count on that!

But there's more than one way to skin a cat.
He has committed dozens of criminal acts since he has been in office.
We need to IMPEACH him!
IMPEACH - won't dissolve laws.
Senate 'dims' won't "go for it" ...
Like with clinton ...

House 'impeached' him ... Senate wouldn't!
He served out his term ...

Angela Corey Under Continuing Investigation ...

**OCALA, Fla., September 17, 2013 — George Zimmerman’s highly controversial prosecutor, Angela Corey, is now under state investigation for firing Ben Kruidbos, the Jacksonville Times-Union reports.

“Kruidbos received a letter from the Florida Commission on Ethics earlier this week saying the investigation was occurring,” the T-U’s Larry Hannan wrote last week.“Investigator Specialist Kathleen Mann, who sent the letter, declined to comment on the investigation when contacted by the Times-Union on Friday.”

...

“Mr. Kruidbos was terminated for having testified (pursuant to a subpoena) before the circuit court in and for Seminole County … on June 6, 2013,” he continued.“The nature of his testimony related to the possible knowing violation, by the State of Florida (the SAO), of its reciprocal discovery obligations … in a criminal prosecution. Such a violation falls within the inherent authority of the circuit court to sanction the conduct and actions of parties and attorneys before the court.

One of the big questions left unanswered is who deleted the incriminating items from Trayvon's phone. The IT guy hinted the pattern indicated after death. Who ever did that does need jail time.
