3a. No, you don't set aside special time, your everyday words and attitudes do the damage.
3b. No one is trying to gain control of anyone's kids, they are educating them, making them culturally aware. Unknot your knickers please.
1. Yes.
2. They know.
3a. That's a lie. Homosexuals never were discussed. That causes no damage.
3b. Gay activists are. They aren't educating them, they are stealing valuable school time from them to entrench their nonsense into the minds of kids that don't belong to them. The subject of homosexuality has no place in public elementary schools unless straight parents want it.

You do not want a reasonable discussion. You want are nothing but a pseudo-intellectual TOPIX hack who wants to inject your secular-progressive liberalism on the entire world. You appear to believe in Utopia where love and kindness makes the world a better place. Love does make the world better but many times Love comes in the form of very tough decision making, hard line standards of decency and honesty. You apparently were coddled as a child and never had "tough love" so I am challenging you to grow up. Take a trip away from your fairy land and spend some time helping someone in need in the Inner City.
.....
What does this have to do with the legal marriages of gay people, other than to agree that decency, honesty, and decision making skills are equally exhibited by gay and straight couples, and vital to a good marriage.

Of course it it. It is good for gay kids to grow up and know that their choice in a life-mate and ability to form a family are just as accepted and protected as it is for straight kids. How in the world can you argue that gay kids will grow up to make healthier decisions in life if, from a young age, they are taught they are second class citizens, and that all the things their parents taught them about marriage is ONLY for their straight siblings.

And of course it is also good for the tens of thousands of kids being raised by gay parents, in ALL the same ways that it is good for every child.

For children who are not gay, or do not have gay parents, it's good for them as well, since some of their decedents will be gay, as well as their friends, family members, and co-workers.

Are you really going to try to prove that I am incorrect?

According to decades of research, the ideal family structure for children is a two-parent, mother-father family.(1,2,3) That research consistently shows that children raised in such families are more likely to thrive—psychologically, mentally, and physically—than children reared in any other kind of family configuration.
..........
Actually, the research shows no such thing. Well, unless you believe that studies that EXCLUDED gay couples from their research can speak about their success as parents.

You really need to stop stealing material from the FRC website. Besides being against the TOS here, you just look silly.

It has everything to do with homosexuality.

My beliefs are based upon personal experience.
I knew a man growing up who was a brilliant math student. He was adopted by two lesbians. He described in vivid detail the filthy deviant, twisted, perversion that went on in his household throughout his young life. It was quite shocking what the two lesbian sickos tried to indoctrinate him with. He hates homosexuality and everything it stands for (particularly gay marriage).
You are free to believe whatever some social psychiatrist tells you but I know better.

Gay story books:
And Tango Makes Three
King & King
Daddy's Roommate
The problem. Gays see these books as tools to "destigmatize or normalize same-gender relationships." Straight parents see them as tools for brainwashing their kids into believing that their church and their parents are wrong about homosexuality. No good will come of forcing these books on young children against the wishes of the parents. All of them are available from book stores and even some libraries. Gays are more than welcome to obtain them for their own personal home use.
Why do you assume all straight parents are homophobes?

Your judgement is based on your personal feelings as a Homosexual. You do not want or believe in standards of behavior, certainly not Biblical standards. When a Biblical standard is pointed out to you you become hostile and defensive.
I'm sure people who work on Friday evenings would become hostile and defensive if they were constantly be told by fundies they should be put to death. If fundies were saying the laws should be changed so they would be put to death. If they were harassed as funerals of their loved ones with signs saying, "God hates Friday workers! Exodus 35:2".

Something must be wrong with people like you who get so worked up about what others do when they are getting it on. Why not just tend to your own knitting like it tells you to in 1 Peter 4:15?

Since your lesbian friend is "a pretty decent person" rearing her adopted child with her partner in "a loving home," I see no reason for you to "cry with shame."
Why would you have any reason to feel shame and why do you believe the child will be subjected to "mental abuse" while growing up in a lesbian household that you described as "a loving home," not "dysfunctional?"
Just because his adoptive parents happen to be a lesbian couple doesn't mean you have to believe they'll become abusive or their home, dysfunctional. Have confidence in your belief that they're decent, loving people. What more could we possibly expect of parents?
I find your posts interesting, especially because they show you struggling with prejudices from your own upbringing.
By the way FYI, the D word is generally offensive, just like the N word, and for the same reason — they're really derogatory.
It's clear SevenTee's stories are made up.

It's telling that all the homophobes are rallying here to smack down those who advocate treating LGBT people with with love and respect, while trying to justify their hatred with religion and citing fake research in an effort to support their claims that defy reality.

Don't they understand that they don't have to be "Christians" just to be homophobic or generally hateful toward others, including women and minorities? Perhaps they believe assuming the mantel of religion magically absolves them by masking their own flaws.

More fundamentally, don't they understand that they don't have to be homophobic or hateful toward LGBT people just because they may believe that they themselves not to be? Curiously, they appear driven by personal need to protest so loudly.

Right, one man's unhappy experience means ALL children will have/have had a bad experience.
I personally know a man who calls himself King James, he says he wrote the Bible and can recite scripture for hours on end to prove his claims.
By your logic, this means ALL Christians are psychotic schizophrenics. Got it.
SevenTeeIQ's story is fake, it does't even think them through when making them up.

She is a decent person because she has a job and is a solid contributing citizen. But that does not mean that two lezbo women living a homosexual lie will make good parents. Human beings are born into the world with a mother and a father, when two women pretend they are the parents the child and steal the child away as a mulatto play object / trophy the child will be confused, unstable and unsure of reality and will be at at a disadvantage throughout his life.
Parents need to teach right from wrong and most importantly raise their children in the Christian Church. Homosexual choices are contrary to Biblical standards and is an extremely dangerous lifestyle choice, So your notion that :"all you need is love" is a coined phrase by phony 1960s liberal hippies with less than an ounce of truth or reality. Grow up and sober up.
