Obama has beaten them into total submission… you got to love the way the republicans are now running away from any talk of another possible government shutdown or not rising the debt ceiling.

Complete surrender is a hell of a thing, LOL… freaking tea-bagging losers.

The RepubliCANTs couldn't strategize for squat. Obama did NOT act like a negotiator or leader. The least he could've done was mediate a budget agreement rather play party politics. Even Newt Gingrich who couldn't stand Clinton said Clinton would be on the phone daily seeing how budget negotiations were doing.

In the meantime McConnell gets his 2 BILLION dollar earmark/bribe with the help of a prominent DemocRAT.

Has McConnell told Ted (Jessie Helms) Cruz?

The republicants should be looking inward at their party and stop dividing itself and learn, as President Obama said:

"You don't like a particular policy or a particular president? Then argue for your position. Go out there and win an election. Push to change it".

Yes, maybe win an election GOPs!

The GOP Empire strikes back in 2014....the RINO's will be ousted replaced by REAL Conservatives who will not allow the Democrats to get their way.

Our party needs to clean house and get rid of the RINO's like McCain, the moderates...those who have caved to the Democrats for far too long.

After clown barry made it clear that he would let the country burn down before he would allow any changes to unaffordablecare, the patriotic republicans had to give in. Clown barry is calling that a victory?

The shutdown probably cost the country a
minimum $30 billion. I hope Ted Cruz and his
tea-party hillbilly associates can come up with
the dough. They owe it.

First I want to thank you for finally admitting that the GOP are the bad guys with the star wars reference. It's a refreshing bit of truth coming from you.

Second off... Let's look at this problem logically. In the last two elections the Republicans have put forth extremists as senators and judging from the current math of the make up of the senate has fail badly even in red states.

So my question and point is, what makes you believe that putting forth more wackos is going to win you more senate seats when previous outings have proved nothing but failure?

If you believe that nonsense, you must also believe in Santa.

You guys have used the excuse of "dead people", Sandy, Christie, the media, and everything else.

But the truth is you had a lousy candidate who even your own party called "anybody but Romney"

First of all, there's no such thing as a Republican extremist....youre just TOO liberal.

Secondly, "the empire strikes back" is just a catchphrase I chose to use, not to be used in comparison to the movie. Helloooo??

Btw, you guys who swallow up the lies of Fux and Hannity and their sick ilk, please read this article from a journalist who was watching Hannity and realized the "facts" were wrong and uninformed and he rang the folks Hannity was interviewing.

It is astonishing how ignorant these folks are and who parroted the same old fux hatred and propaganda about ACA without checking the facts.

Fux is very good at exploiting people’s ignorance as they falsely point to imaginary boogeymen.
