How about how those very same states have the highest per capita income and yet are the most stingy of all the states?
It would appear that you libbies are the greedy ones and not capitalists.
Oh, did I mention that libbies that run "non-profits" and earn 6 figure incomes and yet still give less money than legitimate charities?
Shhhhh, you're not supposed to talk about that.

It's a game of chicken. Since the Republicans are going to get the blame anyway from the media, I think what they should do is give DumBama anything he wants. That way when we hit a depression in a year from now, nobody can blame the GOP. They can just sit back and say "You elected stupid, then stupid is what you get."

I would rather they say no and force the scumbag's hand. After all, HE is the one who needs to work with the minority. If odummy can't do it, it's all his fault. If he can't come up with something the Republicans will agree to, then it isn't a policy that is acceptable to the American people. They do after all, represent a great many Americans.

Now, if the republicans lose their seats then the dems will finally be rooted out for the pigs they really are. This country will be exposed and the people should realize by then the error of their ways. Sometimes you have to give sneaky liars enough room to hang themselves.

Look, you are obviously clueless. You have no concept of "trading" in the financial world.

Also, are you aware of how many times you have stated: "They don't sale them."

Are you talking boating and mean "sail"? Or, perhaps you meant the term used in trading: "sell".

This is the evidence that says your debate has lost and requires no more interaction from others.
yes I am saying they don't sale them. That is what I am saying. They are THE lender of secondary market loans. All other lenders use their lending guidelines and sale their loans to Fannie or as I said they sale and then choose to service. Sorry but you are out of your league on this topic. You obviously don't understand the roll of Fannie and Freddie in the mortgage lending markets.

I look at the state of our country the way I would look at a drug addict or alcoholic. People are drunk on government goodies. In many cases, the only way for an addict to recover is to hit rock bottom. I say that's what we need in America today. We need to hit bottom.

Many people don't pay attention to politics. That's the problem we have. People know more about their favorite American Idol than they do their Congressman or President. Never in the past has America reelected such a failed President. Why? Because of how he looks, how he talks, how he cracks a joke or holds his children.

Americans need a bitch-slap. Turn off that 99 cent Batman rental you have. Put on a news channel and learn who is Fn the country--not what media headlines say.

Actually, Obama has presented a detailed plan in the form of the budget that has passed the Senate. The House Republicans are the one's who are whining that restoring taxes on the highest earners is a non-starter without offering a detailed counter-proposal.
Incorrect of course. The Speaker said on TV Sunday that they had already offered Obama the top two tax tiers. What else do you have. Here I have an idea.

Well if Obama is such a great leader, speaker and negotiator, he should put the whole negotiations on TV for all to see. You know make his liberal children proud. Remember, they work for us. What's all this back room hooey. Obama said he would be the most transparent ever. Let’s let him prove it.

They are not warehousing the loans, only guaranteeing the loans.

lol! Right now cons aren't getting out of the way.

Nor have they offered anything.

So far, the House looks like they prefer politics and gridlock over a resolution... only they're not as vocal about it. But that's ok, we can still take names for 2014...

Fannie Mar buys loans. They don't sale them. They are by far the largest buyer of mortgages in the country. A full 40% or more of all mortgages in the country is owned by Fannie. So who would they sale them to? Since they are the largest, who would be buying their loans and why? Since Fannie is basically guaranteeing the loans why would someone buy them and then there would be no guarantee.
Here is how it works nitwit. A bank makes Fannie and Freddie loans. They can send them on to Fannie or choose to service them themselves. They earn something called a service release premium if they decide to service them. Many banks do this as a convenience to their customers and the extra fee income. If they choose not to then the borrower will pay Fannie directly.
Now Fannie buys these loans from banks to free up capital so the banks can make more loans. It is called liquidity. If the banks fail to follow Fannie Guidelines then Fannie can make the bank repurchase the loans. Any infraction can trigger this and it is for the life of the loan. This is what happened to Countrywide when things went south. Fannie demanded they buy back loans. CW didn't have the capital and thus they folded.
Now Fannie may require that a bank only buy some loans back. This harms the bank as it diminishes their lines of credit they use to lend. So no they don't make bad loans in hopes of fee income. Because they end up with the loss on the foreclosure and they lose their lines of credit meaning they can make less loans in the future. A bank doesn't have unlimited money they can lend. If their line of credit is $1 billion but they have to buy back $.5 billion of loans then they only have $.5 billion they can lend. This isn't good business for the bank. They never want to buy back any loan. They want their fee income but no buy backs. So they don't intentionally make loans they would have to buy back. But it is a catch 22. If they turn down a loan that would fit Fannies Underwriting standards they are open to lawsuits for discrimination.
Hope this free education help you some.

The GOP lost.

The negotiations start with the GOP accepting they lost and that the two percent is going to pay more in taxes.
