The Republican-controlled House of Representatives passed a bill on Friday that would phase out a program for energy loans after a lengthy investigation into why a now-bankrupt California solar panel maker got a $535 million government loan.

There are many other sources of energy. In case you haven't heard many of the coal powered plants are shifting over to cheaper more abundant natural gas.

Then lets get out of there. All of it, including the mercenary force. Dems have a couple of months left of their 6 year rule. The opportunity was there. We have three aircraft carriers there now along with other ships. It is a shame we did not "Drill, baby drill" four years ago. Obama might have been a show in for reelection.

We probably would have ramped up drilling if the RINOs didn't whine to the government and Obama for BP's oil spill. I blame the right for their constant whining.

Funny how the amount keeps getting bigger and bigger.. Kind of like the ol' fish story.. FYI, even those it's nothing to sneeze about, it was approx. 200 billion spent on Iraq. I agree, it was a huge waste just like so many other government expenses.
