There are 206 comments on the WHAS11 story from May 12, 2018, titled Sarah Huckabee Sanders: Comment on McCain 'dying anyway' shouldn't have been leaked. In it, WHAS11 reports that:

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told staffers Friday that an aide's recent comment about Sen. John McCain was inappropriate but shouldn't have been leaked to the media. Sanders told communications' staffers in a private meeting that it was inappropriate for aide Kelly Sadler to dismiss McCain's opinion during a recent closed-door meeting because, Sadler said, "he's dying anyway."

From a political point of view, it's true. Time to forget about a comeback tour.

Face the facts, liberals and establishment Republicans. He needs to set a few priorities with the time he has left. Your crybaby agendas just don't matter anymore, but if he wants to roll them bones one more time on being a war hero, it's his choice to make.

The comment should be taken in context. It was a CLOSED-DOOR meeting. It was not an attempt to humiliate him in his dying days. Somebody else decided that it was an issue.

Personally, I see this as yet another attempt by the thought police to vindicate their surveillance society. It's a disgrace to support it.

Exactly. The more astute among us question whether McCain,(the media invented phony "hero") is really ill. According to them, that petty disgusting vindictive little man may just be taking a page out of the violent Democrat party's playbook by claiming victimhood in order to elicit the sympathy of the American people in retaliation for their rejecting his bids for the presidency and electing Trump instead. This petty person has no problem getting off his "deathbed" whenever he has a chance to vote against the Trump administration and the American people.

You claim Democrats to be “violent” while you and those if your ilk are viscously attacking a member of your own party, who has voted the Republican agenda line 91% of the time his entire career, a record for any member of either party.

A vote against the tRump “administration” is —always— a vote FOR the American working class.

Men of McCains character are in short supply, and there’s no sign that any more of them are running for office, presently or in the future, on either side of the aisle.

Funny, the 2016 American working class didn't think Hillary fit the mold but Trump did and they were right.

Exactly. The unfortunate thing is that, ever since the 60s 70s era revolution, there has been an ample supply of men of McCain's character. It is interesting to note that you believe this embedded petty vindictive traitorous little tyrant is a Republican, other than in name only. True, you make a good point when you say he has a special knack of convincing Arizona voters that he is.

Note the source material where McCain - following having been awarded honors by his admiring fellow Democrat party buddies - warns against nationalism in his effort to promote America engaging in endless wars, despite the fact that God himself is a nationalist. If McCain and his fellow obstructionists succeed in provoking thermonuclear warfare with the Russian Christians, it may be our own cities that are destroyed this time.

Source:
God is not a nationalist.
God is imaginary.
MCCain is real, and he has brain cancer.
He has served Arizona well, being re-elected is proof of that.
Ronald on the other hand is a crazy person, and does not need a brain tumor to be that way.

Sarah is right. What kind of middle school inhabit these meetings. They did not have courage enough to confront the issue straight on?

It seems this issue carries the day on CNN. There are real things happening in the world.

Indeed it well could be that many of us will be ahead in the line to conclude our affairs on this Earth. He must expect some grand reception by Old Blue Eyes and the Rat Pack at those pearly gates as he remains consumed within the political realm. How many of us have paid attention to those voices from history anyway. Today's trend is to vilify, edit and rewrite the past as we demolish statues, etc.

Democrats rejected McCain, even ridiculed him for years.
Then when he gets brain cancer, Democrats suddenly find he is a sage speaking wisdom.
It's no coincidence.

The comment shouldn't have been leaked? It should be trumpeted throughout the world!
It is a perfect symbol of the poisonous rot taking place in our White House. And unlike the economy, this trickles down from the top.

The only thing lower than mocking someone who is sick and dying, is questioning whether the person is REALLY is sick and dying.

Exactly. It is obvious that you have not read the historical record. When God discovered the "Liberals" were constructing a tower to heaven itself, he went down and confounded their language, lest they were to do everything they might imagine to do. According to the record, God did not pass civil "rights" laws that would have forced unlike kinds of "Liberals" to integrate with one another. Instead, he separated them, and then he sent them throughout the earth according to their own kind. Yes. God created the nations in this manner. Yes, God is a nationalist. Only those who have never read the historical account believe otherwise.

Exactly. Few would disagree with the premise that the only thing lower than mocking someone who is sick and dying is questioning whether a person is REALLY sick and dying. But wouldn't you agree that McCain is such a vile and disgusting person that an exception could be made in his case? Whether he is merely claiming victimhood by pretending to be ill only he knows for certain, but isn't it curious that he is able to jump up off his deathbed whenever he has the chance to enthusiastically cast a vote against the hard working patriotic president of his country - as well as every time he finds an opportunity to shoot his mouth off against the president?

Ronald
McCain was not a great pilot. He fucked up more then once. He got POWed for a long time and when he came home he chose to serve the country as best he could in politics. No he wasn't the bestest ever. the Palin decision was not a career booster, but he survived it.
But a disgusting person? McCain is probably one of the least disgusting people in DC.
And the rest of that above tyraid of ridiculousness is just dreadful.
You speak as though you are a man of God. But you are as I stated earlier, a crazy person.

Proof again of your megalomaniacal vigilantism.

To accept a job within presidential circles implies candor in private and discretion in public. It's up to the president to choose staff that he or she can work with.

Trump is too impulse driven for me.. but there may yet be a method to the madness.... but I doubt it.

He casts about with his idiot twitter account. We're beyond fake news. Put some real news out if you want the truth told. That's why it's called a bully pulpit.

My appreciation of McCain goes back further. In particular, when he defended Barack Obama while during a campaign rally, he berated a female moron (moronette?) who kept blabbering that Obama is Kenyan. John showed me some class then.

Donald Trump would have given her a season pass to one of his golf courses.
