Hmmm, don't you think the scientists have already considered that? Gee hard choice here,do I go with people who have advanced degrees, Ph.d's in science or some scietifically illiterate bozo??
oh, and the poles aren't covered by snow, they aree covered by ice. The land mass of the Earth's south pole, in Antarctica, is covered by the Antarctic ice sheet. It covers an area of about 14.6million km² and contains 25–30 million km³ of ice. Around 70% of the fresh water on the Earth is held in this ice sheet.
I think that ading 70% of the Earth's fresh water to the oceans will have some effect on sea levels, not to mention changing the salinity of the oceans
Hmmmm, so it never snows on the south pole? The south pole cap is 100% ICE?

Hmmmmmm, I say BS!

Probably outdoors 5-10 times more than you, in nature. It is obvious that our Pacific Northwest & the planet, is changing rapidly by no natural processes. Only by adding man-made GHGs CO2, methane, oxides of nitrogen, SF6, etc effects, including primary & secondary feedbacks, can global changes be accounted for, by AGW scientists. Your lack of science, just puts you at the back of the pack, along with the other sleazy slimy steenking toxic topix AGW denier liars.

FYI, if you melt snow it converts to 1/12 the amount of water. I.E. if a foot of snow is melted you end up with 1 inch of water. I suspect the "scientists" are calculating the ocean rise based on the thickness of the south pole ice cap that is really snow that has accumulated over a long period of time. So the actual rise in ocean level in 200 years will probably be 1/12 of the projected rise made by "scientists". I.E. there will be NO dangerous rise in the oceans, NONE.
Lol.

The Antarctic ice cap is several kilometres thick. How far down do you think fluffy snow survives before it is squashed into solid ice?

Hey silly rabbit, learn this:

The global climate has been experiencing significant warming at an unprecedented pace in the past century1, 2. This warming is spatially and temporally non-uniform, and one needs to understand its evolution to better evaluate its potential societal and economic impact. Here, the evolution of global land surface air temperature trend in the past century is diagnosed using the spatial–temporally multidimensional ensemble empirical mode decomposition method3. We find that the noticeable warming (>0.5 K) started sporadically over the global land and accelerated until around 1980. Both the warming rate and spatial structure have changed little since. The fastest warming in recent decades (>0.4 K per decade) occurred in northern mid-latitudes. From a zonal average perspective, noticeable warming (>0.2 K since 1900) first took place in the subtropical and subpolar regions of the Northern Hemisphere, followed by subtropical warming in the Southern Hemisphere. The two bands of warming in the Northern Hemisphere expanded from 1950 to 1985 and merged to cover the entire Northern Hemisphere.

Ice bergs float meaning they are NOT 100% water. There is not a 1 for 1 addition to ocean level for south pole ice melt.

ALSO::

The main ice covered landmass is Antarctica at the South Pole, with about 90 percent of the world's ice (and 70 percent of its fresh water). Antarctica is covered with ice an average of 2,133 meters (7,000 feet) thick. If all of the Antarctic ice melted, sea levels around the world would rise about 61 meters (200 feet). But the average temperature in Antarctica is -37°C, so the ice there is in no danger of melting. In fact in most parts of the continent it never gets above freezing.

Your buddy spacdedblues was all a twitter that same image a while back He couldn't produce the data from which it was created. Maybe you can.

And for starts... who's version of "Observed Temperature" is that? There are many, many of those.

As Warmists are wont to do they cherry-pick one they like (or make one up) call it 'real' and trot it out to their minions (that would be you) to spew relentlessly.

But why are you even posting? If it's a crisis, shut your damn pie hole and save the planet from another puff of that evil CO2.

You'll be back... I'm sure.

Hypocrite.

Ice bergs float because ice is less dense than water.

This is probably covered in science class around age 7-8.

It's actually warmer sea water that is melting the Antarctic ice.(And it is an observable fact that the ice is melting.)

He never said it doesn't snow at the South Pole. But the SP doesn't get much.......yearly, about 4 inches, compared to the yearly World Records, at Mt. Rainier & Mt. Baker, upwards of 1140 inches.
