Didn't carbon taxes play a part in Australia's changing of the guard to the Liberal-National Party coalition(read that center-right conservative)?

That's nice. And meaningless. If you think the world is waiting for you to become honest and rational, you need to snap out of it.

Bearing on the validity of the science = ZERO.

Do you see all the leaders, scientists, and politicians advocating the theory of global warming actually "do something about it" and make the lifestyle changes they demand others make?
Does the IPCC leader take a chauffeured gas powered car to/from his office one mile from his house?
Yup.
Does the IPCC leader own a gas-guzzler?
Yup.
Does the IPCC leader own an electric car?
Yup.
Does the IPCC leader use the electric car that was bought specifically for his own use actually use it?
Nope.

Some crisis.
Shall I continue with Al Gore?
Relevance to the validity of the science = ZERO.

<quoted text>its amazing how these people demand changes they're unwilling to lead by example with themselves. If I were a judgmental type person...I'd swear they're all hypocrites! But....I'll leave the name calling to that crowd. That's all they have.
Argument for how this affects the validity of the science? Still missing in action.

Behold another fine example of denier logic:

"Rational person - "Does it change the fact that the Earth is warming?"

Note how refusal to acknowledge that which they do not wish to acknowledge comes so naturally to them. The non sequiturs flow like a river.

Hey, don't bitch at me.

It's the warmists promoting global warming who aren't abiding by the "science".

You fail to follow conversation.

Doesn't matter, nor change the fact that the leaders and promoters aren't abiding by your science.

Gawd... that's gotta really bug you, huh?

I doubt if he believes he can get you to any form of 'intellectual honesty'. That doesn't mean that the truth should be hidden from you OR others. THAT is 'intellectual honesty'.

I gave you the link. Is not the head of the IPCC a leader?
Sheesh.
Regardless, I hear no outcry from warmists about other warmists.
Why is that?
"Does it change the fact that the Earth is warming?"
Hmmm... don't warmists say everyone needs to cut their carbon footprint... but not their leaders and mouthpieces?
Another motto:
"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others".
I know you really think this is something and that you'd really like for it to be something, but...

it really isn't.

It's not like you can show us a graph of global temperature records going down for 30 years.

It's not like you can show us three times more cold records than warm records.

It's not like you can show us a chart showing sea level going down 8 inches in the past 100 years.

It's not like you can show us a list of figures showing Arctic ice cover increasing over the past 30 years.

All you can show us is an article in a yellow paper gossiping about a rich and powerful man that you obviously envy. That's why you suggest not paying any attention to the man behind the curtain.

You feel so small and impotent when confronted with such success.

But 'they' don't do as well.

Why is it still just a "maybe" scientific consensus of a "possible" coming climate crisis as they have never agreed that any crisis was an inevitable and unavoidable crisis that will happen for certain?
28 years of science NEVER saying a crisis WILL happen feeds deniers and perpetuates this costly debate to save the planet. Science can end this debate instantly with a real warning for a real crisis.
So just what DOES have to happen now for science to say the end of "life as we know it" from their own climate crisis WILL happen? When it's too late? How close to the edge of no return from unstoppable will the lab coats lead us with their "maybe" "catastrophic" climate crisis?
thethirdrail

the confusion over the concept of climate change comes from
the political definition of climate change----do you believe
that the change is
due to Man or is it due to Mother Nature throwing a Tantrum?????
the confusion also comes from those who claim the change is
(define Is) from man-- and we have their thousands of leaked
Emails confirming ---their data was shall we say suspect to put
it politely!!!!!!!

the confusion also comes from those who would like to see the
issue used as a way control your life and tax you!!!!!!
