This is highly unusual on the part of the Police and seems unfair to me. Our young men just don't get a break. Keep your head up Cameron.

This could turn into a fascinating First Amendment case.

The thing that came to my mind first is the recent ruling that giving cops the finger is legal.

So--dogs have better protection than cops?

Exactly. In order for words to be criminal, in this context, they have to be "fighting words." This has been the law in Ohio long before the recent middle finger case.

I had a professor in school who claimed to have been arrested for giving Dick Nixon the finger.

I wonder if you could legally flip off the police dog?

Well, cops are still pretty well covered. Awhile back I read that in W. VA (I believe) a man was cited for assault on an officer just for some odorous gas passing.

And my god, a few pot seeds on the floor, he must have been a huge dealer.

Babs, so you are a mind reader as well as a bigot?

I say that because you back everything that hey now says including use of N word and even "fisting" in relation to our President. If you had any dignity you would be embarrassed to be associated with hey now.
