Permanent GOP minority status has arrived

"Permanent" may be overstating it, but it'll be a long freakin' time before Republicans can win an honest majority absent a Democratic implosion.

GOp still has a big lead in the House and almost won the presidency despite a weak candidate and a media in love with obozo.

Almost won the Presidency? Obama beat Romney by 126 electoral votes.

The GOP had far fewer votes for the House then Democrats. They lost six seats, but maintained control only due to redistricting.

Exactly, they maintained control of the house due to redistricting because democrats won the popular vote

If the media was not racist and so heavily biased towards blacks, obozo would not have had a chance in 2008 or 12.

That's a fact and you can't argue a fact.

That's all speculation, rooted in a loser mentality. The fact is, he won. Slice it anyway you want, nothing will change that fact.

That doesn't mean a thing. Any bills originating therefrom can be vetoed by the President himself, if they get beyond the Democrat controlled Senate. Overall, the power resides with the Democrats.

You're just in denial, because you're a sore loser and a coward that from the beginning never intended to show up at a schoolyard you named in the Bronx (Columbus HS), when you live over two and one half hours away in Bridgeport, CT.

I only hope that some people decide that after being chained to a government that takes away their ability to think and do for themselves will eventually get old, and they will decide to lift themselves up from such a nowhere life. They need to look past the crap their parents have that somebody else was forced to provide, and ask themselves if a life of dependency actually fulfills them. Common sense, integrity, personal responsibility and self-reliance no longer exist in this country.

Republicans can't kill anything. If they push legislation that's too one-sided and teabagger oriented, with no bipartisan sense, the Senate will easily not approve it. If by chance it gets passed the Senate, the President is always there to veto it.

You need to take a Political Science course, among other things. You can start by finally graduating from kindergarten.

<quoted text>it works both ways you idiot.
You're in a "left lean" era, comparable, but not quite in regard to a complete leftist socialist stance, as was the case with the FDR administration, where Republicans hold no real power. The party is splintered, with tea-bagger extremist elements, and the message is one of insults and criticism on the public and/or constituents they need to begin winning. At that rate, they'll never regain the WH and cease to exist.

The real idiot here is you, because you're totally uneducated in politics. You didn't even graduate kindergarten and you live in some rundown apartment in Bridgeport CT. You have no money and you're just a plain loser venting on TOPIX, instead of picking yourself up by the bootstraps and doing something with your life.

What cheap wine or beer are you drinking tonight? Your broken English is to the pits. I can't make heads or tails what you're talking about, you illiterate!

So when are you getting your GED? First, you'll have to graduate kindergarten and elementary school.

Absolute fiction.

As a matter of fact, Obama is one of only four Presidents in the past 100 years to win with more than 50% of the vote twice.
