Why would you have left this soldier behind?
That soldier, or person, wouldn't be left behind. It was a matter of congress appropriating funds. It's probably a stupid law, but there are a lot of stupid laws we all have to abide by.

Correction, Idiot.
We are a nation that *hopes* and *trusts* it is being governed by thinking people. That why we have cyclical elections where our hope can be potentially turned into realities.
The expression "using laws as guidelines" is candy to Activist Judges who demand wide latitude in sentencing so they can play Social Legislator.
In just the past few weeks, we've seen judges hand out sentences lenient as hell to street thugs here in Detroit because, I assume, they were black and the judge is a Liberal.
Using laws as "guidlines" is a codeword for black racism and airhead Socialism inside the courtroom.

Tell the next cop that stops you for speeding that the speed limit is only a guideline. LOL
We are now a nation governed by politicians who use these laws as tools to manipulate their constituents and weapons to threaten and intimidate (and worse) their enemies.

These laws have also been used recently to not only destroy reputations, but to also permanently destroy American citizens without due process.

they can only wish when all Media Matters does is run UNEDITED FOX video.
Poor little bot let me explain something else to you. The Daily Beast which is far from conservative wrote an extensive article concerning Media Matters and it's propaganda. Kristen Powers who again isn't a conservative agreed with "the beast's" summary and said that no one could consider Media Matters other than a political agenda website and as such was a propaganda machine.

Why are you guys so intimidated by FOX?

Because the intent of the law has been perverted by the corrupt politicians. Examples: IRS scandal, NSA scandal, DHS scandal, HHS scandal, VA scandal,.....so many other cases I won't list but you get my point.

Remember this?

Guardian columnist Daniel Davies, states “I am genuinely scared” of Fox.” And it demonstrates intolerance of conflicting opinion when he writes,“In order to have even a semblance of control, you need a tough legal framework.”

The desire to see Fox News shut down is also demonstrated in ¨Journolist¨ messages from Jonathan Zasloff, a law professor at UCLA, when he asks why the “FCC couldn’t simply pull their [Fox] broadcasting permit once it expires.”

The back and forth between the ¨Journolist¨ members establishes fear, intolerance, and desire to see Fox News gone. The discussion also raises the question of why one news station that is not slanted leftward gets these journalists so upset.

Hardly, when you have a department head targeting groups she doesn't like politically then she pleads the 5th...when she was in the FEC she also abused her position so there's a clear pattern to follow with Lois Lerner. Also possible destruction of government property since her hard drive was lost after all, lol.

Ann Coulter is a abrasive caustic loud mouth. Not that she hasn't made a few good points like pointing blatant hypocrisy in politicians.
