Pew Research poll shows:

39% blame Republicans.
36% blame Obama.
17% blame both.

http://www.people-press.org/2013/09/23/blame-...

The gap blaming primarily Republicans is quickly narrowing.

Conservative Columnist: Campaign Against Obamacare Is 'Suicide Of The Right'
Conservative columnist John Podhoretz wrote in a New York Post op-ed published Wednesday that Republican lawmakers are doing "significant damage" to their party's already tarnished reputation by assuming the American public supports their campaign against Obamacare.
Podhoretz's column, titled "Suicide of the Right," points out that poll numbers showing Americans disapprove of Obamacare, combined with the data point that twice as many Americans identify themselves as conservative rather than liberal, have incorrectly led the GOP to assume a "silent majority" backs their strategy.
From the op-ed:
If ObamaCare had been as unpopular as conservatives believed, their plan for the shutdown — that there would be a public uprising to force Democratic senators in close races in 2014 to defund it — would’ve worked. It didn’t. Not a single senator budged.
Their tactic failed, and now what they are left with is House Speaker John Boehner basically begging the president of the United States to negotiate with him.
One thing we know for sure is that it’s not an equal fight, this fight between a man who received 65 million votes nationwide and a man who received 246,000 votes in one congressional district in Ohio.

Suicide of the Right
Every piece of evidence we have so far on the government shutdown shows the public is blaming Republicans most of all for the standoff. On Monday, an ABC poll showed 71 percent fault the GOP; 61 percent fault Congressional Democrats; 51 percent fault President Obama.
Yes, Democrats look bad. Yes, Obama is probably doing himself no favors by saying he won’t negotiate when the public wants politicians in Washington to work together.
But Republicans look considerably worse. And for the Right, the Republican Party is the only game in town.
This is what my fellow conservatives who are acting as the enablers for irresponsible GOP politicians seem not to understand. They like this fight, because they think they’re helping to hold the line on ObamaCare and government spending. They think that they’re supported by a vast silent majority of Americans who dislike what they dislike and want what they want.
I dislike what they dislike. I want what they want. But I fear they are very, very wrong about the existence of this silent majority, and that their misperception is leading them to do significant damage to the already damaged Republican “brand.”(Forgive me for making use of that horribly overused term, but it’s the only one that fits.)
The belief that the public is with them is based on two data points: First, twice as many people say they’re conservative as say they are liberal. And second, ObamaCare is viewed unfavorably by a majority of the American people.
Both are true.
But it has been true for more than 20 years that Americans are twice as likely to call themselves conservative — and in that time Republicans have lost the popular vote in five out of six national elections. The statistic tells us little about how Americans vote or what they vote for.

O'bama should do himself a favor and quit babbling when he is high on what ever it is he takes. Most think he is high on the wacky weed, but I do not. All sides commented on the president yesterday-he was on something. Do you think the medicated president should really be talking to the people when he is obviously as medicated as he is. I found it to be disgusting. He is not in his right mind. I have heard that he is on anti-depressants, pretty obvious after his talk yesterday. Maybe O'bama is suicidal. It is a side effect you know.

Associated Press-GFK survey shows only 37% approve of Obama's job performance; 53% disapprove.

Both Republican House Speaker John Boehner and Democrat Senate Majority Leader share a dismal 18% favorability rating.

It isn't over yet. The president's refusal to negotiate over the debt ceiling is right around the corner.

This does not explain you posting a link to the NPR article of the AP poll and then getting all whining about my response of Obama's approval rating from the article. You didn't read the article apparently and did not know it was your OWN source I was citing from.

Before you come out again screaming cite a source, do yourself a favor and actually look at your post and your article.

Let's look at a time line.

October 8 The Russian equivalent of our CIA, their GRU, issued a warning to their Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare for a radical change in the government of the United States, and referenced US laws giving the president unconstitutional dictatorial powers specifically in the case of insurection by the states, to occur within a month.

October 9 Here on this board we read for the very first time a new phrase the Democrats indoctrinated their dupes with yesterday, October 8, "neo-insurectionists ", to begin putting it into their routine regurgitation of party line mantra.

Looks like the Democrats have decided to start the war they want against the American people, and are issuing the phrases to use in their propaganda to justify it.

You're a study in drunken puke choking!

What is the shutdown all about:

It's like selling a home.

You ask $250,000.

Some dumb republican tells their agent: I will pay $100,000, she tells you.

You tell her: no way! I can't go that low. No.

The republican comes back the next day: I will pay $100,000.

Again you say: No.

Then the republican returns a third day: I will pay $100,000. I am parking this large semi truck in front of your driveway. Now no one can use the house.

You say: No. I won't sell for that, move that truck!

The republican: You are refusing to negotiate with me!

I AM SHUTTING DOWN YOUR STREET!

You: Is every republican crazy?

The nation: Yes! We voted for Obama! We hate republican trash!

#10 In South Carolina, the Obama administration is actually using

#11 In Tennessee, the feds have totally shut down the Foothills

At this point the feds are not even letting people visit the graves of

#14 According to one news report,“Gestapo tactics” were used
against one tour group made up mostly of senior citizens at
Yellowstone National Park…
Pat Vaillancourt went on a trip last week that was intended to
showcase some of America’s greatest treasures.
Instead, the Salisbury resident said she and others on her tour bus
witnessed an ugly spectacle that made her embarrassed, angry and
heartbroken for her country.
Vaillancourt was one of thousands of people who found
themselves in a national park as the federal government shutdown
went into effect on Oct. 1. For many hours her tour group, which
included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and
the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park
hotel under armed guard.
The tourists were treated harshly by armed park employees, she
said, so much so that some of the foreign tourists with limited
English skills thought they were under arrest.
When finally allowed to leave, the bus was not allowed to halt at
all along the 2.5-hour trip out of the park, not even to stop at
private bathrooms that were open along the route.
#15 Of course one of the most disturbing abuses of power is how
the Obama administration is using barricades and guards to keep
military veterans away from open air memorials such as the
World War II Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial and the Iwo
Jima Memorial that are normally open to the public 24 hours a
day.
Obama and Reid have no other goal than to spite Republicans.

The problem with spite is that it usually comes back to bite you on the butt instead. The polls are beginning to show it.
