I've worked in Closed Shop Union environments before and I know what I'm talking about. The average union members - be it Auto worker, Electrician or School teacher - are Animal Farm barnyard bullies. Seriously, they are fed misinformation by their "leaders" and get whipped up into an animal frenzy.

Standard Operating Procedure for Socialist organizations. Keep the members Dumb, keep them Angry.

I watched and read articles about how this all came about in Michigan and it is sad just how gullible and pliable union members are. They'll believe anything that union leaders feed them and with not a thought given to their actions. Governor Snyder was lied to earlier by Democrats and Union Thugs. I read that they approached him discretely to ask him to "talk" and use "restraint" so that maybe we could all sit down and come to a compromise of sorts regarding RTW in Michigan. He agreed. To his chagrin, they then went behind his back and got Michigan's Prop 2 onto this year's ballot which would codify "Closed Shop" into the State's Constitution! So much for restraint and compromise. The voters turned down Prop 2 by a large percentage because they saw right through it as a Socialist ploy. Snyder said at that point, he then clearly understood unionism in Michigan's Socialist Party and pushed the RTW legislation full steam.

Now, there are thug riots. So be it.
