<quoted text>Yeah, electric heat is way too expensive, we have oil heat, but we keep our house a lot cooler than most people, usuallly in the low to mid 60's. My wife works from home so she'll use the small electric heater if she gets chilly. I light the fireplace when I get chilly. I don't think my electric bill has ever topped $100.
Dear rightwingers, the adults are conversing now, just relax for a few.
Hah, I forgot about wood*

Total electric is fine by me, one of my rental homes has never busted $100 per month but the water sewer there is way high, well over $100 so it washes.

I have no choice at my pad__total electric or nothing but it's still probably no more, yearly, than similar sized Northern homes.

I have a fireplace and used to burn local oak during the holidays but several years ago I was blessed with Chimney Swifts which are far more amusing than fire particularly for cats.

I'm sure we could come up with hundreds of reasons why some people can't find a job; but the main reason may be that they are unemployable due to having a criminal record. That's a big one. So what then? The person reverts back to committing a crime, like you said, people have to survive, they have to have food and shelter.
Many people lack skills, or they are considered too old and there are those who are lazy. Personally, I would never give up looking for a job, they are out there if you want to go find them. Applying for jobs online is often a frustrating and fruitless venture, people never really know if their resume is even looked at; there's no acknowledgement and if you can't meet someone in person you don't stand a chance.
There's only one reason: Obama didn't take a macroeconomics class 101.

Actually, two reasons. Obama wants to take down this nation because he is an anti-capitalist and leans more towards Marxism.

In 2009, Mitt Romney, who is now trying to campaign for president as a moderate, lent his star power to an unusual charitable project: celebrating right-wing talk show host Glenn Beck to raise money for an unaccredited Utah-based college, which was founded by acolytes of the late W. Cleon Skousen and promoted the work of this fringe conservative figure. Much-touted by Beck, Skousen was an anti-communist crusader, a purported political philosopher, a historian accused of racist revisionism, and a right-wing conspiracy theorist.[...]

In a video message—obtained by Mother Jones—that was recorded for the event, Romney praised Beck and this school, which the US Department of Justice has called a "diploma mill."

“You see some classes of the human family that are black, uncouth, un- comely, disagreeable and low in their habits, wild, and seemingly deprived of nearly all the blessings of the intelligence that is generally bestowed upon mankind. The first man that committed the odious crime of killing one of his brethren will be cursed the longest of any one of the children of Adam. Cain slew his brother. Cain might have been killed, and that would have put a termination to that line of human beings. This was not to be, and the Lord put a mark upon him, which is the flat nose and black skin. Trace mankind down to after the flood, and then another curse is pronounced upon the same race – that they should be the “servant of servants;” and they will be, until that curse is removed; and the Abolitionists cannot help it, nor in the least alter that decree. How long is that race to endure the dreadful curse that is upon them? That curse will remain upon them,[p.291] and they never can hold the Priesthood or share in it until all the other descendants of Adam have received the promises and enjoyed the blessings of the Priesthood and the keys thereof. Until the last ones of the residue of Adam’s children are brought up to that favourable position, the children of Cain cannot receive the first ordinances of the Priesthood. They were the first that were cursed, and they will be the last from whom the curse will be removed. When the residue of the family of Adam come up and receive their blessings, then the curse will be removed from the seed of Cain, and they will receive blessings in like proportion.“-Second Prophet Brigham Young JoD 7:290-291 (October 9, 1859)

The children of Adam and Eve needed incest to propagate the species (srsly).

In addition to the King James Version of the Bible, Mormons reckon three other books holy writ: the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. The Book of Mormon contains the aforementioned tale of the Mexican Jews (or Mews). The D&C contains "revelations" proclaimed by Joseph Smith and other church leaders; i.e., the shit they made up as they went along. The Pearl of Great Price is the least tl;dr of the three and by far the most batshit insane—allegedly translated from a set of ancient Egyptian documents, it discusses, among other things, how God lives on a big-ass distant planet called Kolob. What they won't tell you is that The Book of Mormon has undergone over 4000 edits since the original 1830 edition (not bad for the "most perfect book ever written!").
Yeah, I see they finally dumped the Book of Ralph.

It's all in the spirit of looking out for our fellow human beings, Homer.

I know you got yours and all...but there are people in the world who are really suffering and need our help.

Just because liberals have a hard time with that concept, it doesn't change the truth behind "to those who have been given much, much is required."

It's why the more we get to keep of our own money, the more we get to experience the joy of giving.

The government would just waste it.

I don't agree. What you described is not legal and that is not what he has taken a stand for. Allowing women to make their own decisions is just that.
You take a stand for rich people right? Are you guilty for everything that they do?
Why do you liberals always think the rich are evil with only evil intent?

This country was built on the prosperity of the rich giving back to humankind - not only to this country but to the entire world.

Greed doesn't always like in the hearts of only rich people, you know. Usually, it's just the opposite. There are exceptions, of course, but that's the case with just about everything.

You seriously can't say you don't see what's going on.
