Hey Lady - you might find this new Obama book interesting...I sure did. It's written by a college roommate and friend of Obama. It's avail on Amazon and is called "My Friend Barack." Although it's wildly supportive of the President (you can skip over those parts!), it contains a BUNCH of information about Obama that has scarcely (or never) been mentioned by the media...all of which confirms my worst fears about the man. Ties to Marxists, vision of a weakened America, implosion of our dollar, etc. The book is pretty cheap at $2 -- it's a Kindle book (I read it on my PC) and represents the BEST two dollars I've spent in a long time. Pass it around, especially to the undecided and independents!
It's $2 because its rubbish, however they saw a market in fox news watchers and figured it would appeal to off beat conspiracy addicts who must find at all costs, communist, muslim, marxist links to Obama. I figure the next book will be written by his dog, telling the inside story. What a sorry lot you are.

Why is it that you Leftys ALWAYS bring forth the race card? Always. You don't really have any viable defense, I know, but you could at least make the effort. And to continue denying that Obama has strong ties to Marxists (Karl, not Groucho) is nothing more than willful ignorance. Let's see: Obama was raised by a self-avowed Communist mother, who married a self-avowed Communist Kenyan student, who then divorced aforementioned Communist Kenyan and married a Socialist Muslim Indonesian, he was raised for a few years in Indonesia within this Socialist Muslim household, and then shipped off to Hawaii to be mentored by Frank Marshall Davis - one of the most prominent members of the Communist Party of America, and who Barry (as he was called at that time) treated as a surrogate father. Barry finally made his way to Chicago and was introduced into Davis' Communist network there, to include the likes of Bill Ayers and John Davidson...two very prominent members of the Communist Party. Barry took work at the Jarrett Law Firm, which was seen as a bastion for promoting and protecting the agenda of the communist radical Left. Valerie Jarrett was a partner there...she hired Michelle and introduced Barry to his future wife. Barry works as a community organizer for many radical Left causes and organizations, to include ACORN. His entire LIFE has been about promoting the values of Marxism and radical Left ideology...but I suppose that was all in the past, right? NO WAY he could be sympathetic to their cause NOW, right? It's nothing to do with left or right, its about trying to find obscure crap at any cost. What about the anti vietnam marchers in college, were they all communists. Remember Jane Fonda, she was branded a commie all because she did something very unwise. Then we have Mitt who elected to tour the vineyards of France rather than the jungles of Vietnam. Everyone in their University days, believe they can cure all that is wrong with the world until the reality button gets pushed once they graduate. Obama is no different, nor was Bush who just boozed up and partied in his college days.

Yeah, and the Panel is probably just as pissed off now as everybody else. That Arab Outreach really worked WONDERS. This Prize used to be awarded to people who actually ACCOMPLISHED something, like Martin Luther King, Jr, Nelson Mandela & De Klerk, Bishop Desmond Tutu, Mother Teresa, Gen. George Marshall and Albert Schweitzer. Presidents Wilson and Teddy Roosevelt actually DID something noteworthy (League of Nations 1905 Russia/Japan Treaty, respectively) to receive their awards, not simply "extend the hand of friendship" to our avowed enemies and terror organizations...which emboldened our enemies due to the perceived weakness that extended hand represented. And let's not forget some of the other recent selections of this newly-politicized Panel:

Al Gore - Man-made climate change. It really is too bad that all the research that this is based upon has been debunked. Yes, the globe is going through a cyclical warming phase. No, mankind has nothing to do with it. Think about it -- more "greenhouse gases" were released by ONE volcanic eruption in Indonesia (1883 Krakatoa...admittedly a HUGE eruption) than ALL the greenhouse gas emissions by mankind since the industrial revolution. In other words, since mankind started making greenhouse gases. We better slow down!!! Maybe his "Internet thingie" invention will pan out, though.

Jimmy Carter - as consolation prize for being the worst US President in American history. Luckily for Peanuts, he'll probably be downgraded to 2nd worst in just a couple months...

Yasser Arafat - my favorite. "Nuff said" was the term?

Capitalism at its worst is every bit as bad as communism. That is a fact, in communist governments the wealth is supposed to be shared but history has shown that is rarely the case. As a rule, a communist population are not anywhere near as productive as under a capitalist system. But mix them up, like in China and you have the benefits of both. Those who want to work and get on can and make a healthier income if the opportunity is given. But the rider is, they must pay their share of taxes and then they enjoy the fruits of their labor. In a Capitalist system unchecked, the wealth just keeps being shifted up the chain until only very few get the benefits. Like one Grocery chain, one phone provider, one gas company. Thats the end result of capitalism unchecked, just like in 2008 where there were only 4-5 banks left as major players. All of which were too big to fail, that is the BAD side of capitalism. The only way to address that is keep brakes in the way so it can't happen, either with taxes or regulations or it will just collapse exactly the same as communism.

You make some valid points, Oz, with one critical difference: Barry has never changed his tune. Look at all his political appointees! LOOK. Half of them are avowed Socialists and are currently promoting a Socialist agenda. I've put a link in here a couple times to a good book on Amazon that I recently read about Obama and his early days...as well as his current life as President. You should give it a look, seriously. You don't SEEM like you're being willfully blind -- it's just that you will not accept facts when they are presented to you. Now, as most of these "facts" are being put forth by members of the far Right, I can see why you would be skeptical. Hell, I am too. But THIS book was written by Obama's friend and old college roommate, who is a HUGE Obama supporter. He makes some valid points in Obama's defense -- but also brings up some facts about Obama that have never really been mentioned (or validated) before. "My Friend Barack" on Amazon. Only a couple bucks and a quick read...worth the effort, I assure you.

We are talking about OBAMA now. Two wrongs do not make a right.

You and yours lose all credibility when you try to excuse Obama, the elected potus!

You make yourself and Barack Obama look even worse than you already are every time you do this.

I just turned off the tv. He is coming here AGAIN today for another fundraiser at the taxpayer's expense and cares nothing about disrupting traffic.

Barack Obama looks odd. His skin color is different. He looks jaundiced to me. Could he have HIV or hepatitis?

All that partying he's done while campaigning with George Clooney seems to have really gotten to him.

Romney must have really gotten under his skin!

You and FOX are ignoring the obvious improvement that America, under Obama's leadership, is experiencing that the rest of the world isn't:

1. Economy is steadily improving
2. Troops are being brought home
3. Stock market is soaring
4. Thirty straight months of job growth in the private sector
5. More leaders of Al Qaeda killed in four years of Obama than in eight under Bush
6. Housing market improving
7. Unemployment rate plunging

All this with ZERO help from Republican congress

Mitt’s Bad Math

Romney's plan to reduce the deficit while increasing the defense budget is unserious.

The need to cut military spending is something I have emphasized in columns for so long and so often that at least one of my editors has asked me to stop talking about it. Indeed, if there’s an issue I could be accused of being fanatical about, the dire need for cutting “defense” spending is certainly it.

But Romney’s platform proves my point. If our annual deficit is between $1-1.5 trillion, and neither candidate is really serious about cutting entitlement costs which are far, far greater—how can anyone even pretend they’ll reduce the deficit while increasing spending by $2 trillion on our military?

If our soldiers are not paid enough, do not receive proper benefits, or do not have necessary weapons or essentials it is not because we don’t spend enough on the military. We currently spend more on our military than we ever have—and most of that money goes to fund a massive bureaucracy that has little to do with our actual defense.

That America’s youth aren’t better educated isn’t because we don’t spend enough on education. Conservatives rightly understand this government dynamic when it comes to agencies like the Department of Education. They need to start understanding it when it comes to the Department of Defense.

A Party That Can Be Led

The trick is to make change happen while making it seem like nothing significant is changing at all. As little use as I have for Romney, if he can tame the ideological passions of the GOP, or rather, channel them into useful conservative ends, I’d welcome him. My problem with him is not that he’s a “moderate”— I think he is — but that he is such a cipher that he’s willing to say anything he needs to say to get elected. The hotspurs in the party fear that this makes him a sellout; I fear that this makes him a pushover for the special interests within the party, i.e., he wouldn’t have the stones to stand up to factions within the GOP and say,“No, we are not going to start another damn war/have another tax cut that we can’t afford.”

Here is a question to ask at church today for you Christians that are voting Republican because of their position on same-sex marriage.

Using your logic, if a same-sex couple marries and adopts an abandoned child and provides a loving nurturing home for that child then that is a sin supported by the Democratic party.
But, if a drug addict father in a heterosexual marriage molests his four year old daughter then according to the 5th Commandment God wants that child to "honor" that father.

Is this twisted interpretation of God's word a valid reason to support a Republican candidate?
