Let us hope he is our first and last affirmative action POTUS. There are at least a dozen blacks I can see right now who need no such help and would be fully qualified to occupy the White House, unlike the current occupant. I hope the current occupant has not ruined it for other blacks.

LOL. Not only was it obvious, it was fun to watch.

About time someone confronted Obama and his media-backed crusade of progressive bullshit.

I'm not sure if anyone else watched the body language expert describe the two candidates debate performances but one point she made was that Obama was really pissed about the things Romney was saying and that his looking down at his notes was an attempt to contain his anger.
I didn't watch it live, but watched it online; with no split screen. The split screen shots altered peoples opinions. Did he not realize that they would do that? They also showed video of Mitt walking to his lecturn and putting cheat notes down, now they say it was a handkerchief, but you can see him looking down from time to time. President Obama should have called him out on his lies more than he did. Not that it matters to the R's that he lies.

In true cowardly fashion, Obama talks sh*t AFTER the fact.

When during the debate did you start crying? Chris Matthews said it was seven minutes in for him.

We are seeing an increase in apartment construction here:
50 new projects. The demand is there because of foreclosures, 90% occupancy rate.

Apartments just starting up in this area, we were way overbuilt when the bottom fell out. Hah, they were converting apartments to condos__now they're changing them back.

There are some grand condo hotels planned along the coast and near the attractions__new homes not so much__the builders can't compete with existing homes and foreclosures. In our state home building will take years to return and will probably never reach the levels during the Bush administration.

I think that Barack Obama is not a bad man. He tried to help the country but it didn't work out. We need Romney to pull America back into how it should be. We're struggling and Obama obviously isn't helping with that. Ok bye.
You pass your assertion that President Obama has not helped in our struggle as though it were commonly accepted fact and then magically conclude that Mitt Romney could do better, despite his history of taking every side of every issue and standing for nothing.

If indeed you are a teen, I can excuse your faulty argument and think it’s great that you choose to participate here. However, there are many here who would encourage you to commit to the extremist conservative “failed presidential policies” dogma as fully as they do. Learn to avoid such mental sleight of hand manipulations and study logic and debating.

bad news for you fred ,

"Mitt Romney surprised President Obama with a dynamic debate performance Wednesday, but there was another October shocker today as the unemployment rate plunged from 8.1 to 7.8 percent, its lowest since Obama took office in 2009."

20%?? You mean to lie to us that almost 1/4 of a country doesn't work .

This is how republicans work . They will lie manipulate even kill to aviche their mischievous goals which consist of ripping off hard working Americans

You are correct.
Check this out.

Notice....a democrat majority congress has
the choice as to which unemployment figures to
use. They disregard the ones whose unemployment
benefits have expired and also the ones that have
stopped looking for a job.
If you took the mafia in it's heyday and compared
it to the politicians in DC, the mafia would look
like a church Sunday School class when compared.

Breaking story! TRUE unemployment rate is 14.7%

This morning it was widely reported that the national "unemployment rate" dropped to 7.8%-,(the
lying, liberal moronic news media), and that most of the drop was "the fact that many people simply stopped looking for a job." That comment is very disrespectful to unemployed people who are working harder than ever to find a job.

The rate that is reported as the unemployment rate by the Bureau of Labor Statistics is table U3. That table only measures the number of people who are Receiving Unemployment Benefits. The true unemployment rate is 14.7% and is reflected on BLS table U6 - and remains unchanged. By the way, Congress dictates which table is used to report unemployment.
