“Defending Those Rights Which Heaven Gave

During this election cycle economic issues have been front and center, but that may now change as the anniversary of the devastating terrorist attacks on our soil eleven years ago were celebrated in the Middle East with more violence last night. The U.S. ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, a foreign service officer, and two U.S. Marines were killed when Libyan protestors stormed the consulate there. This is a tragic but avoidable loss.
The day began with reports of protestors storming the Embassy of the U.S. in Cairo, Egypt, upset over a film insulting the Muslim faith that appeared on YouTube way back in July. Our embassy responded on the day of remembrance for so many Americans by posting a piece on its website and in their Twitter feed apologizing to Muslims and basically condemning free speech in the United States. This plays into the ‘Apology World Tour’ started by President Obama when he first took office.
Apologies aside, there is no excuse for the violence, especially when perpetrated on our embassies which are technically American soil. John Hancock, the first signer of the Declaration of Independence, once declared,‘Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian and social duty of each individual.... Continue steadfast and, with a proper sense of your dependence on God, nobly defend those rights which heaven gave, and no man ought to take from us.’
The incidents yesterday bring into question, to paraphrase a different campaign theme,‘Are we safer than we were four years ago?’ Today we need to mourn our American fallen and pray for their loved ones, tomorrow we need to take the steps that need to be taken so that it doesn’t happen again.”

Why does this Administration HIDE the truth? Why is this Administration lying to us? Why is this Administration getting the MSM to ATTACK Mitt Romney on his “Patriotism” and not posting the TRUTH about Cairo and Libya?
How about some evidence for your assertion? "It's been reported"? By whom?

Last night, radical Muslims attacked the U.S. Consulate in Libya killing Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.
This terrorist assault came less than 24 hours after another radical Muslim group stormed the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, ripping down the American flag, burning it and replacing it with an Islamic flag.
These terrorist acts are reportedly sparked by Islamic outrage against film clips being viewed on youtube from an independent film called “The Innocence of Islam.” The expository film allegedly ridicules Muhammad and refers to Islam as a “cancer.”
++Our government’s policy of pacification
Yesterday, our embassy in Cairo issued this statement about the Islam outrage over the film…
The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims… Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.”
The United States Embassy apologized for hurting the religious feelings of Muslims!
Furthermore…
The United States has already provided $53.5 million in aid to Libya.
In March, President Obama released $1.3 million in aid to Egypt.
The Muslim Brotherhood has greatly impacted the overthrow and subsequent power grabs in Libya, Egypt, and other Middle Eastern countries. They are poised to do the same in Syria.
President Obama has invited Brotherhood leaders to the White House and has endorsed their violent takeover in Egypt.
++The radical Muslims have already declared war on America!
The Muslim brotherhood’s stated goal is to wipe out America, the “Big Satan,”– and Israel, the “Little Satan.” They are tightly aligned with terrorist organizations Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO).
Their chief strategy for conquest, called “civilization jihad,” consists of infiltrating governments and affecting their foreign and domestic policies; introducing Sharia into the nation’s laws; silencing Christian churches and other non-Islamic sects; and permeating the victim society with their own oppressive religion and culture.
This infiltration is happening in America now!
++We are delivering important (75,000) petitions to Capitol Hill on Friday calling for a complete investigation!

Do you know how many Muslim's hold offices in our government? Last report: 75 departments.
Obama is a coward. He will do nothing about this because it might interrupt his campaign.

This unfortunate little incident in Libya after dissing the Prime Minister of Israel put a kink in his campaigning.
He's probably went straight to Valerie Jarrett to tell him his next move.
She had to first consult with those kids...you remember Malia (spring break obama) and Sasha advised him on what to do about gay marriage. They have big ears and seem to be in on everything.

All of Oprah Winfrey's proteges are disasters! Dr. Oz is seeming to be another one. Did you see his disgusting program today? There was ME CHELLE campaigning and pushing their agenda on ABC again today. She even got Dr. Oz to jump rope and dance with her. That was no problem given the egomaniacs desire to show off every chance he gets demonstrating whatever that "he loves" so much.

When it came time for questions, not one was asked about health care. Dr. Oz can take his supplements and his tv show and crawl back to wherever he came from before Oprah discovered him. Dr. Phil was one too many and now there are two of them!

Our entire country and health care system, the finest in the world, is about to be destroyed by Oprah Winfrey's protoge, Barack Obama and Dr. Oz asks not one question about it while he jump ropes and talks about food with Michele Obama on ABC the day after our ambassador was ASSASINATED along with fellow Americans!!!

Shame, shame, shame on the whole lot of them and good riddance to the Obamas, Oprah Winfrey and all her charlatan discoveries that ABC loves so much!!!!

Today Marks 123?th Day Since Senate Dems Have Passed a Budget
Aug 11, 2012 08:56 PM EST

It’s very fitting that the same day Mitt Romney chose a fiscal and budgetary guru as his VP also marks the 1200th day since Senate Democrats have passed a budget. The debt accumulated during that time? Oh, a mere $5 trillion.

On Friday, Senate Budget Committee Republicans released this infographic to make it clear:

ME CHELLE Obama was sporting another black, red and white outfit when she made her appearance on Dr. Oz's show! Those are reportedly MUSLIM COLORS and she wore a black and red coat and dress for the 911 ceremony on Sept. 11 in the a.m. BEFORE the Libyan attack on our embassy!

What silent signal is Michelle Obama sending when she goes out in public and appears on national tv wearing MUSLIM COLORS?

Remember her first appearance on imo commie Barbara Walter's "The View" where she came out, sat down and proceeded to demonstrate the "fist bump" which was very reminiscent of the Muslim salute?

UPDATE: Romney Defends Free Speech, Not Obama
by KEITH KOFFLER on SEPTEMBER 12, 2012, 12:48 PM
Speaking this morning at a press conference, Gov. Mitt Romney defended freedom of speech as part of his criticism of the attacks on the U.S. diplomatic posts in Egypt and Libya and the killing of our ambassodor to Libya, Christopher Stevens.

He didn’t directly relate the right to free speech to the attacks, which were waged in response to a movie desecrating Mohammed, but at least he mentioned it – something the president failed to do in his own remarks this morning.

America will not tolerate attacks against our citizens and against our embassies. We’ll defend also our constitutional rights of speech and assembly and religion.

Well in Australia today , a terrorist network was busted with raids in various towns in 2 states.
"created by al-Qa'ida allegedly held a copy which touted the Sydney Opera House as a potential terrorist target."

Now this group was busted due to a islamist who acted as a spy within the group. Which kinda makes this BS about Obama being a friend of the muslims like some sort of disease as paying off. All this cut n paste crap from right wing blogs, its the same as commie , socialist etc. These ppl can't operate unless there is something to fear, today its muslims. This was a muslim who saw others of his group plotting extremist crap so did the right thing & risked his life to save others.
Now what would you righties do, firebomb a mosque as the solution?

President Obama pushed back against Mitt Romney's accusation that his administration mishandled its response to the Libya crisis, noting that Romney bungled basic facts in his Tuesday night statement.

"There's a broader lesson to be learned here: Gov. Romney seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later and as president one of the things I've learned is you can't do that," Obama told CBS News Wednesday."It's important for you to make sure that the statements that you make are backed up by the facts and that you've thought through the ramifications before you make them."

The First Unmistakable Sign of Panic from the Romney Campaign

Before yesterday, I had assumed that the Romney campaign was perhaps mildly spooked by President Obama’s post-convention polling bounce, but nonetheless confident that the bounce would recede and that the race would return to the status quo ante September.

Now: not so much.

The Romney campaign’s reaction to the attacks on U.S. diplomatic missions in Egypt and Libya was, as Daniel Larison says,“hasty and stupid.”

I think Daniel is being charitable.

Think of it: On the eleventh anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, a day in which both campaigns have agreed to a political cease-fire on television, several U.S. foreign service workers are murdered by an angry mob.“Apparently unaware of the timing of the first embassy statement,” as the Times puts it, the Romney campaign crudely parlays the facts of the attacks — angry Muslims kill Americans — into a broader narrative about Obama’s supposed weakness on terrorism and “sympathy” for America’s enemies.

That’s more than hasty and stupid; that’s unconscionable.

NBC News’s Chuck Todd and co. put it this way this morning:

This was news-cycle campaigning by the Romney campaign gone awry. Why didn’t the Romney campaign wait until it had all the facts? On his overseas trip in the summer, Romney was so careful not to criticize Obama while on foreign soil. But how much time do you give an administration to work through a diplomatic and international crisis before trying to score immediate political points? You’d expect the Sarah Palins of the world to quickly pounce on something like this, and she predictably did. But a presidential nominee running for the highest office in the land? After the facts have come out, last night’s Romney statement only feeds the narrative that his campaign is desperate.

Before yesterday, the idea that the Romney campaign was “desperate” would have struck me as myopic and overexcited.

Now it seems unmistakable clear.

The Romney campaign knows it’s losing.

Romney’s “Lehman Moment”?

The extraordinary thing is that Romney may have been losing yesterday, but he wasn’t being widely ridiculed and attacked for having practically disqualified himself from consideration. When senior Republican foreign policy professionals start referring to this as his “Lehman moment,” likening it to McCain’s mid-September meltdown in response to the financial crisis, we can see that Romney’s latest attempt to seize on an international event has done significant and possibly irreparable damage to his campaign. Most Americans may not sympathize with Romney’s more aggressive foreign policy, but they might have been willing to believe him to be competent and have good judgment. This blunder undermines his claims to both of these.

Romney has made many foreign policy blunders before now, but this is the only one that has provoked such swift, harsh, and near-unanimous criticism. The most incredible part is that all of this has been self-inflicted. Romney and his campaign volunteered for this by inserting themselves into the story. If it were simply the other campaign or Democratic partisans that were hammering Romney on this, it wouldn’t be any different from previous mistakes, but the backlash hasn’t been limited to his partisan foes. The dishonesty of the original Romney statement and the gall of his press conference this morning have combined to create serious doubts about his judgment and to confirm the impression that there are no limits to his opportunism.

We are so f**ked.
Yes, Obama criticized Romney for not waiting for all the facts. Obama then taped a Sixty Minutes show and flew to Las Vegas for a 'factfinding' campaign rally, leaving his media lackeys to continue the criticism of Romney.
