Paul Ryan also wants to cut the same amount from Medicare to pay for his tax cuts to the wealthy.
OMG! You're an idiot!

Obviously a film with it's biases. I quick search on IMDB & Wikipedia reveals the director /producer of this film, Gerald R. Molen, is a Mormon. Typical partisan behavior from supposed 'Later Day Saints"
Religious preference of Gerald Molen has no influence on that movie. Gerald Molen has worked with many prominent Hollywood people and has worked on many movies including Schindler's List,Beyond the Blackboard and many others. Dinesh D'Souza is a christian who was raised Catholic.

Bingo, you are correct.

Duration: January 3, 2007 – January 3, 2009

The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995. Although the Democrats held fewer than 50 Senate seats, they had an operational majority because the two independent senators caucused with the Democrats for organizational purposes.

Flack old pal, you're way off base on your corn=fuel BS, Ethanol has been around for a while and believe it or not the nation is using a lot less gasoline now vs prior to 2008.

Your solution would be what? Remove ethanol from gasoline?

Hypocrite! You would have never said this when GW Bush was president.

It's just your interpretation of respect is brainwashing.

The difference is I would frown on any teacher promoting their bias and ideology in the classroom in any way, shape or form.

A teacher's job is to teach the roles of the 3 branches of government. Anything pertaining to politics begins and ends there.

Imagine children across the country in public schools singing the praises of GW Bush.

You liberals really need to get some perspective ASAP.

Not joking. But I wouldn't have wanted any conservative teachers doing that either.
Brainwashing children in public schools is a very, very dangerous slippery slope.

You Republicans want or keep forgetting that Dubya sent thousands/millions of American men and women to their deaths in a senseless war that we and our children will be paying for years to come. You say that is all past tense and of no significance? Well the damage is still there and some of it is permanent. G.W. continued to deregulate with more of our manufacturing going overseas. He ignored policies that would have helped many, and catered to greedy corporations. Congress should stop bickering at the table and consider accepting policies that could help many people and perhaps so many people wouldn't be struggling so hard to survive. Romney/Ryan don't care about the average American citizens. Ryan ignore questions about medicare because he wants to change it; a plan that would cost seniors thousands of dollars that many of them don't have. If you think that doesn't mean anything, or you're one of the rich elite of our society, then you don't have to worry so much about getting older, but the rest of us will have plenty to worry about with Ryan's attitude on medicare.
The first six years under Bush was fine, even with the wars the Democrats voted for.

Things started going bad during the last two years when your Democrats took Congress. It got much worse all around now that Obama is screwing Amercans.

Obama needs to be replaced. We are tired of excuses and the lame blame game.

There is a very good reason the Dems are refusing to pass a budget.
Without a budget they get to spend 4% more each year above the 2009 budget and claim that spending hasn't spiral -ignore the four trillion budget deficit increase under Obama behind the curtain.
Contained in that 2009 budget is the stimulus bill, monies for the Iraq war, and other expenditures that are no longer occurring. However, Obama and Dems keep spending at this level rather than reducing it back to before recession rates.
The problem for Dems and Obama is the public sees the huge racking up of debt behind the curtain and find the dishonest spin that spending has not increased as a total myth.
Since continuing resolutions still require specific appropriations for discretionary spending what you're telling me is that the House is maintaining spending at or above 2009 levels.

<psssst> that means they're still spending MORE money.

It was a simple question ... why do you want the government to spend even more money than it already does?

100% of military members pay taxes. Most military member were not allowed to vote sixty years ago. Obama doesn't want military members to vote, because members of the military are patriotic and Obama knows they would prefer someone other than a empty suit as their Commander-in-Chief.

What Democrats fail to do is accept responsibility for their own role in the economic fallout in 2007 and 2008.

Republicans trash what Obama stands for. If he weren't in power, he'd be seen as a jovial, laid back kind of guy who is a good father and husband.

Problem is: He IS in power. It would be an understatement to just say his ideology and the ideology of those who he represents goes against the mainstream of America. It's dangerous.

Clint Eastwood and Disrespect (Must Read!)
The Daily Bell ^| September 3, 2012 | Nelson Hultberg

This is what Clint Eastwood did on August 30, 2012 in Tampa. He did the honorable thing – the manly thing. He heaped contempt on the statist mandarins in Washington. He did not lie down and play nice-nice with them. He did not try to compromise with them. He did not pacify them so as to be popular. He excoriated them with his words and his attitu

NO they should be taught to respect the office of President. But are not bound to respect the man if his idealogy is foreign to theirs. Back in the 1930s the populus of Germany were told to support a man without question, that man was Adolf Hitler.
The reason why there is so much youth crime is because of the break down of the family. Many one parent households, with latch- key children doing whatever they want. They are not taught values, provided only with the sense that the government is their safety net. Mommie is married to the government, and they are taught failure not to strive for success. Welcome to the dysfunctional world of "Julia". The cradle to grave analogy of the Democratic Party's Plantation dependency.
Success is self reliance, picking yourself up, and opting for the American Dream.
