How the NRA Helped ObamaCare

"....while focusing solely on gun issues, the NRA has championed candidates like Mr. Donnelly; Democrats who may have a couple of conservative positions but are not conservatives in principle."

Very common in hospitals, clinics and specialties that I've worked with in my job - at least in Florida and Georgia.
Every PA and NP by law has to be under the direct supervision of an MD, but they do a lot of the decision making.
If you have a primary care physician or are referred to see a specialist, you will see an MD.
Many follow-up visits are handled by PAs and NPs.
Then you have the residents and interns in teaching hospitals. They do much of the decision making as well.
so, do they charge less if you just see a PA or NP instead of an MD???...

and what if you have a problem that those sub-professionals (amateurs) lack the education and training to observe...

Physicians are already dropping Medicare patients. This is the problem according to Adam Frederic Dorin, M.D., MBA:
Many physicians, feeling isolated and in fear of losing their practices due to severe cuts in reimbursement under Obamacare, are looking for remedies under the law to simply not participate, disenroll, or limit their involvement with the Medicare program. Many would like to continue to see patients by making private arrangements and/or by simply giving free care, but on their terms without unwieldy and unnecessary government regulations imposed by such participation.

Where are the millions going to go if more physicians do the same?
Will the government now mandate physicians take these patients or work for free - which has been reported as a distinct possibility?

Republicans pretend to be all about personal responsibility. They came up with the 'individual mandate' to encourage everyone to have their own healthcare, and not depend on free care paid for by others.
Obama has done just that, encouraged personal responsibility, th eRepubs change their tune.
Then they're stupid enough to say the states could do it, but the feds couldn't.
If it's illegal on the Federal level, it is illegal on the State level, as the US Constitution is the final arbiter of US law. DUH
If you doubt that, look at the Montana ruling on Corporate political money. The SC said Montana could not impose limits that the SC claimed the Constitution doesn't allow.
You lost. Be a good loser and quit behaving like a spoiled teabagger.
I actually buy very good used furniture. Did I tell you about the leather reclining sofa and matching loveseat I found advertised for $250? It's absolutely beautiful.

I will thank you not to call my new used Jeep with less than 40,000 miles trashy. It looks brand new inside and out. I actually paid less for it than the market value saving almost $3000.

That's what conservatives do. We find the best deals and save our money.

But don't tell me. You have to buy everything new no matter how much you would have saved if you had been a little more frugal and shopped for bargains.

Liberals are such elitists.

So, what you're really saying is that GOP members of Congress are too stupid to read legislation.
Have you ever bought a house? How many pages and pages are part of that contract. Did you bother to read them, or just whine they were too long, so skipped reading them?
... EDITED ...
I happened to read every page of the refinance documents I was provided, and felt it was an especially prudent thing to do since I was going to be attaching my signature to it and would have to pay for it...

But I understand there are some that don't, some like many of those folks who have had their homes repossessed by buying houses they couldn’t actually afford and as a result fell into receivership.

But then again there are people who are specifically hired to read lending and mortgage documents – that is what they get paid to do…

What exactly do we pay the members of Congress to do?

Put their names to legislation like some sub-prime ignoramus, regardless of the consequences to the American taxpayers – or knowledgably read and execute legislation to the benefit of the nation and all of its citizens.

Obviously we know what your opinion is….

The way to get rid of a Tax and Cheat Obama and Obamacare is via the ballot box. The Supreme court has persuaded more sold out folks, to turn out and throw out a "Sellout Tax and Cheat Liar obama" and rid "Tax and Care" in November..

It's considered a doctor visit no matter who sees you.

Like I said, sub-professionals ("wannabes" is what I call them) supposedly can't make any decisions without the supervision of an MD. But most MDs are so swamped...and some have become so apathetic...I don't think they really get involved that much with the day-to-day routine care of their patients.

Of course, they all see their patients at some time or another. Unusual cases and consultations are always seen by an MD.

Bah, you've gone too far, as usual. I expect them to be warm, highly competent and fuzzy. Greedy doctors are not looking out for my best interest, they are too busy recommending expensive generally useless testing, procedures, etc.

We are not going down together, think of it as healthcare reform is lifting everyone up. The poor and the downtrodden finally given access to quality medical care, world class if you will.
