He must have miscalculated.
Carol, if the bill contains revenue generation to account for the expenses, then it doesn't cost anything.

Oprah Winfrey lost her credibility many years ago with me. But when she began her push for a brother in the White House, she sank to a new low. She now rests deep within the same POS as Jeremiah Wright, the "Reverend" Bros. Jesse Sharpton and Big Al's Urban Used Cars.

How many phony book authors were caught working for her Book Of The Month Club? Was it three? The first one, I thought, was simply a mistake. The second one, I thought, "something stinks here, folks". But the third one - "A Million Little Pieces" really turned me off on Oprah. She makes money off of these crooks by promoting them within her Book Club. Somebody dropped a dime on her. Shame on you, Oprah Baby.

And then I was eating supper when her program was coming to a close just before 5PM. In last remaining minute or two, she said to the audience that she was receiving emails complaining about her support of the Kenyan Snake. She turned to the camera and quite coyly said "That's just not true, folks". She kept turning back and forth from the camera to the studio audience declaring that her support has nothing to do with race or skin color. She said that she simply thought this guy was the best man for the job. OK, I thought. Fair enough. She closed her show with her protestations about racism in her emails.

One minute later, the 5 O'Clock Local News came on with an intro video of Oprah Winfrey on an outdoor stage in Chicago before an entirely black audience. She was clinging hard to a big microphone working the audience up into a frenzy yelling "Isn't it time we had a black man in the White House?" She kept repeating the phrase while the audience screamed back in a racist rage.

My jaw dropped. "You lying, racist b*tch", I thought. Just a minute earlier, you were denying on your show any racism in your support of the Kenyan Snake and here, a minute later, you are screaming racism into an outdoor microphone about the skin color of your candidate to an all black audience.

If she burns in Hell, her fat azz will make it burn hotter.

<quoted text>LETS TRY THE RTUTH NOW BUSH KILLED FAMILY FARMS
USDA Inspector General Finds Bush Administration Ignored Family Farmers for Giant Factory Farms
Some of the most troubling findings of the new audit include not following through on enforcement after violations were confirmed by federal law enforcement investigators. When enforcement was pursued, the USDA sometimes delayed action for as long as 32 months. And the NOP could not document for OIG investigators the status of 19 complaints it had received, since 2004, that alleged illegal activity.
“Justice delayed is justice denied,” said Will Fantle, The Cornucopia Institute’s Research Director.“Spotty enforcement of organic rules, since 2002, has enabled a number of giant factory farms, engaged in suspect practices, to place ethical family farmers at a competitive disadvantage, particularly in organic dairy, beef and egg production.”
The report pointed out that the State of California, which was given authority to oversee the USDA’s organic standards in that state, was woefully inadequate in its oversight and enforcement capabilities. With growing organic imports, from countries like China, the audit also found that foreign certifiers were not properly supervised.
“Obviously, these are troubling findings. But we are satisfied that, finally, these deficiencies are being taken seriously by the political appointees at the USDA,” added Fantle.
In a formal response to the OIG report, AMS administrator Rayne Pegg at the USDA stated that she “reviewed the report and agree[d] in principle with its findings and recommendations.”
Although a long-time critic of the management at the USDA’s National Organic Program, Cornucopia, an aggressive industry watchdog, affirmed its belief in the credibility of the current organic program and said it would continue to fight for “excellence” in public service at the federal agency.
Bush didn't do it the Agencies did it USDA, EPA, DOE etc. They are already in motion doesn't matter whos in office.

FOR A CHANGE LETS LOOK AT THE TRUTH Not Fox cherry picked numbers.
I Know I know why bother with the truth?

The gross costs of the insurance coverage provisions include federal subsidies for lower-income individuals to help them purchase insurance, expansion of Medicaid eligibility and tax credits for small businesses that provide coverage. CBO’s net figure includes a few related savings measures — an excise tax on high-cost health plans offered by employers and penalties paid by certain employers not offering insurance and individuals who don’t buy it.

So, where did Republicans get their $1.76 trillion cost figure? That’s the gross cost for 11 years ending in 2022. Republicans inappropriately compare that figure to the original estimate of $938 billion for the 10-year period ending in 2019.

The 11-year figure is much higher because it includes three additional years of full implementation of the coverage provisions of the law. The federal subsidies and expansion of Medicaid, which are by far the most costly elements of the coverage provisions, don’t go into effect until 2014. So, that 2010-2019 estimate includes four years of very low coverage costs (relatively speaking), and the 11-year estimate only includes two years of very low costs, plus three extra years of full implementation costs.

Republicans and budget watchdogs complained back before the law was passed that it wasn’t fair to estimate the cost by including several years in which some of the revenue-raising aspects of the law were implemented but the full costs weren’t. We wrote that the critics had a point. Maya MacGuineas, president of the nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, told us that the timing “masks the true differences in the cost.” But she said that something this large “can’t possibly get put into effect full force” immediately.

The CBO said these adjustments in estimates are due to new laws that were passed, changes in the economic forecast that predict a slower recovery, and slower predicted growth in private insurance premiums. These gross and net costs for coverage provisions don’t include other elements of the law — such as major cost-cutting provisions including cuts in the future growth of Medicare and increased payroll taxes and investment-income taxes on higher-income earners. Once everything is factored in, CBO has estimated that the law would reduce the federal deficit by $210 billion over the 2012-2021 period (see Table 1, page 2). CBO did not update that overall figure in its latest report.

Before Obama, we were in combat with the Taliban and Al Qaeda in the mountain regions, and they were not able to infiltrate the population centers.
Obama's first decision in Afghanistan was to withdraw from combat with the Taliban and retreat to the population centers.
This was the critical flaw in the Soviets' strategy. They concentrated themselves in the population centers.
Naturally, the Taliban just followed Obama's retreat.
Today, when the average Afghan looks around, he sees the same thing he saw when the Soviets were there. That is the difference Obama brought to the war. Now, we are doing the same stupid thing the Soviets did.
Taliban general - "I sure wish we could get out of these mountains and into the population centers where we could control the people and hide when we attack the Americans."
Obama - "Stop fighting the Taliban in the mountains and retreat to the population centers."
Now, Obama is negotiating a surrender to the Taliban.
This really sounds like a conspiracy, doesn't it?
And, when somebody like Obama does this, you get what happened last week. Had Obama been on our side and continued to keep the Taliban bottled up in the mountains, then there would never have been the bombing that caused one American soldier to go over the edge.
Because our Commander in Chief is on the side of the Taliban, and he hates the President of Afghanistan, we need to get the f*ck out of there immediately.
America has no Commander-In-Chief but a Commander-In-Retreat. I am convinced that military morale is at an all time low because of his stupidity. This is dangerous ground we are on at this moment. We need an American President.

Hurry November.

Iraq & Iran were enemies.
Sadam was not about to tell Iran what weapons he had or didn't have.
Failing to consider this was a major failure of the Bush administration & proven when no nuclear program was found.
This kind of response is what makes you a liberal.

Saddam didn't have much of a choice but to comply with the UN - Iran or no Iran. The entire world was breathing down his neck.

I don't recall Iran unleashing WMDs on 5000 women and children. Saddam, however, did.

Iran is feeling the heat from the entire world now.

Racial-Quota Fallout

"[Derrick] Bell even said that he took it as his mission to say things to annoy white people. Perhaps he thought that was better than being insignificant in his academic setting. But it was in fact far worse, because the real damage was to impressionable young blacks who took him seriously, including one who went on to become president of the United States."

When food and gas prices go up, we have inflation regardless of what the government says. But Obama will do whatever he can to keep interest rates down, because otherwise the deficit will mushroom.

Obama's low (zero) interest rate policy is robbing senior citizens of their retirement income.

New Haven, Connecticut doesn’t have a lot of Republican voters. Current figures show only 2,458 Republicans, out of an overall total of 64,302 who are registered to vote.

Despite that, state law requires the city to spend $25,000 on next month’s GOP presidential primary. That would be over $10 per voter, even if they were all to show up — which isn’t likely.

According to the New Haven Independent, during the 2008 Republican primary, only 898 Republicans voted. One district drew just a single Republican, while several other drew no more than five. In 2008, however, there was also a Democratic primary, so the poll workers had plenty to do. This year, that is not the case.

The one single republican was gunner
