I guess you can't make it to the end of a sentence.

AADD, eh?

I can understand why YOU find it hard to buy a gun.

Every day? Really? Like where today? Where yesterday? Where any day this week?

You're making things up to avoid answering a simple question. What are you trying to avoid?

If you are unable to define your term, there's no way I can accurately answer your question.

A gun is also the most logical, efficient tool to accomplish murder or an accidental death.
B.S.
More people die in auto accidents.

One cannot stab 23 people to death within a few minutes like guns killed people at Columbine, Aurora or Newtown.
So it is a timing thing? So it takes a knife wielder longer.....just as many dead, and mass murders have happened with the use of a knife.

Japan is a nation made up of mostly Japanese.
America is a mixed bag of so many nationalities that hate each other. Of course there will be more problems.

"EVERY DAY" is a figure of speech, Dannyboy and you know it.

Gun Control - the infringement of the inherent right of the WE THE PEOPLE to keep and bear arms through government regulation

I personally believe that gun control is a firm stance, breathing control, and keeping two hands on your firearm when shooting.......but that not what we are talking about, is it Dannyboy???

Thank you for finally giving an answer.

So then to answer your original question - yes, I am against gun control.

Do you realize that you are adding to our point, by pointing out the story of a man who accidentally shot his wife?
And what point would that be?
That there are crazies who should be dealt with?
I highly doubt this was an accident.
If a cop, or anyone else for that matter, can't carry a gun, and wants to kill his wife, you can bet he will find a way.

Murder is the point, all the regulations in the world nor banning guns will stop murder.

Good, now go after all the other things that cause death on a greater scale than firearms.
Then, when firearms have become the number one cause of death, come back and we can talk.
But don't hold your breath on stopping any other cause of death.

So you want to totally ignore gun deaths because they are not the #1 cause of death in the nation? Wow.

We are addressing every single cause of preventable death in this country except guns. There is no logical reason to ignore gun deaths.

Unless you WANT 32,000 people a year to die from being shot.

Not ignoring anything, stop ignoring the laws on the books.
Stop releasing violent felons back into society to re-offend.
Recognize and deal with those with mental problems.
You blame the tool, not the fool.
Wow indeed.

B.S. Guns have been at the forefront of things being addressed for a long long time now.
Where have you been? We have thousands of laws addressing guns.

Nobody is ignoring gun deaths. Guns are not the problem, address the real problem, felons and crazies.

Your last sentence is lame, even for you.

Deduct suicides (appx 20,000 per year using guns) from your 32,000 number as they would kill themselves with or without a gun.

Most deaths are gang bangers killing each other, Nobody cares. The gangs hold the highest number in gun related deaths outside of suicides.

Stop attacking, infringing, on the law abiding. Go after the people that are the problem.

Really? I said harder or impossible. Can you buy an "assault weapon" in New York state now? How about CT? How about the fact that CT is now trying to include the Marlin 60 semi-auto .22LR rifle on their list of banned "assault weapons" simply because it holds 14 rounds in the tube-feed magazine. It has been the first rifle for many CHILDREN, given to them by their fathers and grandfathers, for the last FIFTY YEARS). How many hoops must one jump through in order to simply own and register a handgun in Wash DC?(it takes about 4 months to jump through all those hoops and several hundred dollars). Whose ass do you have to kiss to obtain a CWP in NY City??? Etc. Etc ad nauseum.
Now how does ANY of the above prevent crimnals from doing ANYTHING???
It didn't help criminals to commit crimes. Did you ever hear of "fail safe"?

About the same.

PS: so what?

The number of auto accidents have been halved in recent years.

Legislation was enacted because of the horrible death rate.

Funny how the special rights gun gnutters fight same legislation for gun manufacturers.

Like requiring people who sell guns check who they sell them to if they are allowed to own them.

But the mentally ill- like you- insist this isn't necessary.

The NRA has been funding Congress reelection campaigns for a long long time.

Time for Congress to listen to the 90 percent of Americans who demand background checks.

Funny how gun gnutters insist on blaming inanimate objects.

And insist that the 90 percent of Americans who demand background checks that you gun gnutters ignore are blaming guns.

We've told you several thousand times here in these forums: we are blaming YOU.

Which existing laws, if enforced, would reduce gun violence? You claim the exist - what are they?

Killing is exponentially more efficient and effective with guns. Nobody is claiming that murder will stop by regulating firearms better, but we can sure has hell reduce the numbers and slow it down.

Most suicide is impulsive. Suicide by gun is over 95% successful. Without a quick and easy means, fewer people would commit suicide. It won't stop suicide, but we can sure as hell lower the number. Of that there is NO doubt.

I have not suggested one single thing that would in any way infringe on law abiding citizens ability to purchase and own firearms. That's a strawman.

This Texas law professor should be smart enough to know that many governments are financially not capable of removing firearms from the people and that he himself would have no luck disarming a kid walking to school, what an idiot.
