Damn girl, what do you think a confession is?? She's already admitted it. Yeah they'll have a trial, but the outcome is inevitable.
A confession given through an illegal wire tap is NOT going to stand up in Court.......or are you not smart enough to realize that........remember that all her lawyer's have to do is cause reasonable doubt and out goes the supposed confession!!!

Sorry, but the outcome is HARDLY a slam dunk!!!

Don't you watch any court shows on tv?

Sounds to me like you are in favor of adults having sex with underage kids. You should be on my list.
Oh, gee, he wants to put me on a list of people he doesn't like. Actually, that's a compliment. In the future maybe you should ask questions that are reasonable and well thought out.

SIMPLE - Do you think it's OK for a legal adult, 18 yrs old or older, to have sex with underage kids, especially 14 yrs and younger. No matter what, they are still kids, not physically or mentally mature enough to make decisions that could possibly affect the rest of their life.
Simple answer. NO.

It's already come out. She's guilty. It's just a matter of what she gets for her trouble. You did defend her. Anyone who cares to, can look up the thread a see for themselves.
Actually, under our system of law, she is not guilty until proven so. Granted, it certainly looks that way, but every person is entitled to due process.

My question to you is what does this case have to do with marriage? Similar scenarios play out a thousand times a year, some resulting in no penalty at all, some resulting in unwanted pregnancies and the like, and some resulting in jail a a ride to the sex offender list.

What do ANY of those cases have to do with legal ,marriage - the topic of this thread?

I am still selling high end bikes and fitness equipment. Now how about being an adult and stop personal attacks and talk about the subject.

No, it didn't. That's not the way the procedure works for a U.S. Constitutional Amendment.
Briefly:
1. The Amendment has to be written, debated, and approved by simple majority vote by the House Judiciary Committee's "Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice". If it doesn't pass the subcommittee by a simple majority vote, the amendment is killed and cannot be introduced for another year.
That's what I was saying pinhead.

If it doesn't pass the subcommittee by a simple majority vote, the amendment is killed and cannot be introduced for another year.
2. If approved by the subcommittee, it goes to the Judiciary Committee where it is once again and debated, and voted upon. If it doesn't pass the Judiciary Committee by a simple majority vote, the amendment is killed and cannot be introduced for another year. If approved by a simple majority, it then goes to the full House, where it is once again debated and voted upon.
3. The House must pass the proposed Constitutional Amendment with a minimum 2/3 vote. If it fails to get the approval of at LEAST 2/3 of the House, the amendment is killed and cannot be introduced for another year. If approved by at least 2/3 vote, then it goes to the Senate, where the basic procedure I outlined above, is repeated in the Senate, i.e. subcommittee, committee, Senate.
4. If the Senate approves of the proposed Constitutional Amendment, once again by at least a 2/3 vote, then it is sent to the legislatures of all 50 states.
5. AT LEAST 3/4 of the 99 state legislatures must approve of the proposed Constitutional Amendment by a simple majority vote in each state legislative body.
So it's a long difficult process, as it was designed to be. The last time a U.S. Constitutional Amendment was ratified was in 1992.
I do NOT think that this silly proposed Constitutional Amendment has ANY chance of being approved by at least 2/3 of the Hose and Senate, and being ratified by at least 3/4 of the states. AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.
But thanks for posting important info for a change.

OH wait. Yes I see. It has to pass both the State Representatives AND the State Senates. So YES it IS 99.

Well done. Mea culpa.
