That's what about all the "pro life" mullahs think - it's a horrible thing until your mistress or girlfriend gets embarrassingly knocked up by...you.

I personally think public square stockades would be better than resignation in such "pro life" cases, but I'm not the theocrat in charge.

The message from the mistress is too canned and impersonal to have been not associated with politics and efforts to discredit the Congressman. Note he did not in any way validate her claim, which is moot, given the fact she was never pregnant. Democrats are getting nasty and criminal in their latest attacks on Republicans and those not acquiescing to their monstrous willingness to throw babies in closets to die if they show signs of surviving attempts to kill them otherwise.

Well seems Republicans have trouble keeping their marriage vows.

He is resigning so that he and HIS FAMILY can work out their problems?

HE is the problem. What a complete jerk.

And his response to his mistress's e-mail put the support against abortion on his STAFF! He tried to come off as that he personally was NOT against abortion, but that he towed the party line through his STAFF?!

So yeah, he outed his own hypocrisy.

Sorry, go back to logic school and try again.

Murphy is retiring because he realizes he has no defense for his hypocrisy. You are apparently in denial.

The most bizarre spin I've read in days. Thanks for the laughs, Wainer!- Mike

p.s. Murphy really thought she was pregnant so it makes no difference whether the message was canned or not.(Abortions for me, but not for thee.-- Tim Murphy)

Murphy's preferred method of birth control, abortions.
