Big deal? No deal!

Not with these 2% Republicans.

Let the so-called "sequester" have its way.

700,000 jobs lost is the public sector?
Just what the GOP wants.

I heard it was 7 million losing their jobs, they are closing nursing homes and grade schools will no longer feed the children lunch. On the bright side, the million dollars to study why some lesbian women are overweight, the shrimp treadmills and the mechanical squirrel project to scare snakes are all safe.

The part I don't understand is how the Democrats, who control the Senate and the White House, voted for sequester and why did Obama sign it? Odd.

Repubs better make no deals. 2014 is coming. No point voting for more RINOS and NEO CONS. Might as well let the Dems win and bring it all down themselves. it will be quicker and apparent the damage done then.

You omit the little detail that the huge majority of republicans voted with Obama. I'm sure that was just an oversight.

The truth is, of course, that both sides voted for the sequester so that it would be considered so insane and so objectionable, it would force them to compromise. But thanks to the latest incarnation of the republican party, even with concessions by Obama, the unimaginable has happened.
On the bright side, if it helps destroy the Republican Party, it might all have been worth it.

Starting tomorrow everybody here, all the folks who are cleaning the floors at the Capitol. Now that Congress has left, somebody’s going to be vacuuming and cleaning those floors and throwing out the garbage. They’re going to have less pay. The janitors, the security guards, they just got a pay cut, and they’ve got to figure out how to manage that. That’s real.”

But then our colleague Ed O’Keefe obtained the sequester plan released by the Architect of the Capitol, which employs Capitol Hill janitors on the House side.(The Sergeant at Arms employs the janitorial staff on the Senate side.) UPDATE: Obama’s remarks also prompted a warning from AOC officials that his comments were “not true.”

And I'd always thought it was three equal branches of government. However, within constitutional limits, I think Obama is doing a terrific job.

They are really not cuts, but reductions of future spending. Both parties are hiding the pea under the walnut shell. The press has decided to pander to both, while protecting the man that had the idea and signed the bill.

Not sure which is worse, your rightie racist POS response OR the fact that NO other Rightie here condemned you for it.

And yet if anyone on the left criticized Unca Clarence Thomas, they'd be a "racist" to you very same hypocrites.

Get bent.
