I figured you respond with that BULLSH!T little rope line quote in reply to a LIAR. Even though the President has never mentioned any intention to redistribute any wealth....even though the President's believe is solid as hell.
If Obama's belief is solid as hell, what part of his accurately quoted statement is BILLSH!T? Obama actually said that he supports redistributing the wealth, and you seem to support him in that. How is that BULLSH!T, exactly?

Americans can only pray that would happen to the POS and his appointments.

What, now you don't understand paraphrasing? Or are you the only one on Topix qualified to paraphrase?

My paraphrase damn sure simplifies and clarifies Buffet's various statements about class warfare..
I think "redistributing the wealth" simplifies and clarifies Obama's idea to "spread the wealth around."

I knew that was you flying overhead Larry! Bet still on or the way things look for Obama do you want to pass? Knowing that you are a black dye in the wool dem it must really bother you seeing what Obama is doing to the once great democratic party,I know I would be. Me being white and a republican I sure didn't like Bush and it bothered me but the different was I spoke out against him and didn't cover his butt like the libs do with Obama. You don't have to answer,I'm not trying to put you on the spot.--PP--

I didn't say nor mean to imply the statement was BULLSH!T. The BULLSH!T was the Reich-wingers' propaganda effort to turn the rope line comment into a screed to claim he's going to redistribute the wealth.

Can you point out where in the rope line statement he indicated he 'supports redistributing the wealth?" I can't.

"My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody. I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

BTW: If that was his intent, he has absolutely failed at the effort. Hell, he hasn't offered up a single proposal to do so.....but I damn sure wish he would.

So you both deny and support Obama's "spread the wealth around" goal?

Actually given the two completely different unconscious frames created by the two terms it is not an accurate paraphrase because it changes the meaning.

"redistributing the wealth" puts the comment into the 70 year old frame of the commies, confiscating and then redistributing the wealth. "spread the wealth around" creates the frame that as folks share in the efforts of creating wealth, they deserve a fair share of it.

And if you don't understand that, go read a good book on framing.

As folks share in the efforts of creating wealth, they deserve a fair share of it, to each according to his needs, I'm sure. I just don't see how that's a different frame than 70 year old Marxist dogma.

4 Pinocchios for Obama’s newest anti-Romney ad

OBAMA AND COMPANY LIES AGAIN……………………SURPRISE.

In a previous life, The Fact Checker covered renowned corporate raiders such as Carl Icahn and his ilk. We also have closely studied Bain Capital and can find no examples that come close to this situation; its deals were done in close association with management. Indeed, Bain generally held onto its investments for four or five years, in contrast to the quick bust-em-ups of real corporate raiders. So calling Romney a “corporate raider” is a real stretch.
So how does the Obama campaign justify this phrase? It cites a single Reuters story from last August, about a campaign stop in New Hampshire, written by a stringer, Jason McLure, who was previously based in Africa. Buried in the article is a reference to Romney as a “former corporate raider.”
“Reuters typically refers to Romney as a ‘former private equity executive’ or something along those lines,” said Ros Krasny, the Boston bureau chief.“Of the hundreds of times we have referenced Romney over the past year or more, honestly, that example from Jason must have just slipped through the net — 10 months ago.”

The Pinocchio Test
The Obama campaign fails to make its case. On just about every level, this ad is misleading, unfair and untrue, from the use of “corporate raider” to its examples of alleged outsourcing. Simply repeating the same debunked claims won’t make them any more correct.

Oh, and I suspect anyone who is spending his spare time reading books on framing is likely trying to understand how to use tricks of conceptual inference in his personal campaign of Topix propaganda. What's next, hypnotism?

Between you and me, it seems to me that it is your opinion that only you can use paraphrasing accurately, and anyone else employing it must be a liar. I assume you also believe that the sun revolves around you.
