I agree. I think he will go down as one of our greatest presidents. Everything about the man is presidential - the way he acts and carries himself. He is the right man at the right time. But he sure does have his work cut out for him.

Yeah, he's as presidential of a thug as we have ever had.

WHAT were his qualifications again?

Many people are scared to near death of his intentions.

LOL The man has done nothing so far. I will reserve my opinion until the year is out. After all the swooning factor is still in evidence by you LOL He could take a whizz and to you that would signal greatness.

I remember when Jimmy Carter was running for pres and they were posting his picture with JC on it for Jesus Christ. And, look at what we got with him.....

Never in my lifetime has a president taken office with the overwhelming support of the American people that President Obama has. Most of those who did not vote for him want him to succeed just as those who voted for him do.

We absolutely MUST keep people like Jimmy Carter OUT OF PUBLIC OFFICE. There is NO PLACE in American governance for people who are scrupulously honest, highly moral and ethical, and who are willing to make real personal sacrifices for the ideals and principles they believe in. Why just think, if we had followed Jimmy Carter's lead, we wouldn't have all the WONDERFUL PROSPERITY that we are enjoying today ... HEY, wait a minute .... uh, damn!

If you look at all his cabinet picks it would appear he is a black Bill Clinton. For somebody who called for change he sure hired all the old Clinton cronies. Except for the tax fraud Treasury Sec.

Good Grief. He has been President for less than a week and he is already one of the greatest Presidents of all time?

Can we please see what the man is going to do before we saint him? So far, I haven't seen anything impressive....oh yeah, he caters to the liberals. When he does what he said he would do and does something completely non-partisan, then we will see if he lives up to his word.

Unfortunately, scrupulously honest, highly moral and ethical, etc. does not translate to competent. AND, I like pres Obama and certainly wish him well, but it does no one good to diefy(?) anybody.

If you are American, you want him to succeed. He is running our country.....what he does affects us. I want him to succeed enough to get us to the next election and then get his ass out of the way.

Proud of what? What has he done?Where has he been? He is still spinning his wheels, there is not one person in the whole world who really knows what to do now!..All are seeking some solution. So to is Obama!

Many, and understandably are proud because he is an African American and our President. But skin color does not replace innovative leadership.I don't care if he was blue,or had two heads, and four arms,he is a man with a large task.

Only results will be the criteria for the "Proudness factor" of this man.

So far and I'm afraid ,when unemployment numbers go to 11%,and kids start dying in Afghanistan, and the misery factor sets in,we may be in a better position to judge, and be proud!..Like Carter once said,we had a malaise then,do not need that again!

I would encourage you not to let your negativity defeat your ability to think critically. Changes have been made at a rapid pace: two of the biggest changes are that Guantanamo is now being shut down and our troops are now in the process of coming home from Iraq.

In addition, President Obama has already made sweeping changes to the way our government operates by issuing a policy of defaulting to openness when agencies are approached by those invoking the Freedom of Information Act. This is in direct contrast to the previous administration's "just say no to inquiring minds" orders. As a hunter of the paranormal, perhaps you could now be benefited in your area of interest should you have need of inquiry for your research.

Regardless of whether or not one approves of the man, I hope you see it is impossible to maintain there have been no changes so far.
