President Obama has brilliantly destroyed the republican Party with every strategic chess move over the last 4 years as he plotted each move knowing full well the payoffs would be at time years down the road.
His re-election is proof of that.

Obummer has no intention to do a deal with republican leaders, he is playing games. Obummer has been campaigning the whole time since the election, he setting the stage to attempt pull the rugs out from under the republicans at the last minute and blame them by using the liberal media as his advocates like lucy pulling the football out from under Charlie Brown. The republicans should demand that Obummer produce a real plan with real cuts in entitlements not some telepromter speech or some B.S. from a surrogate. Lets prepare for the fiscal cliff because that's what's going to happen and it's fools gold to believe that there is going to be a deal when there has not been any type of deal in four years. The only deal has been the socialist deal and we see what that has done to Greece and Spain, thanks but no thanks we need jobs Obummer. At least when the fiscal cliff happens there will entitlement cuts which will keep the country from going into complete collaspe because of debt. That will buy us some time so Obummer can get the government's foot off the necks of businesses because Obamacare shall kill millions of jobs as well as the people it's suppose to treat because of the long waits due to the lack of care. You can't add 20 or 30 million illegals on the rolls and expect it's not going to jam up the system that is not realistic.

Since when have Republicans cared about deficits?

They are world champions in creating them.

Reagan....$2 trillion
GHW Bush ...$2 trillion
GW Bush....$6.5 trillion +$1.4 trillion in the 2009 budget.

Like Cheney said: "Reagan proved that deficits don't matter."

Why all the phony posturing?

We have to increase revenue, Brabender said. But I hope the party takes a deep breath and remembers our beliefs. Raising taxes slows the economy. Its counter-intuitive. Lots of Republicans think the solution is to act every inch like a Democrat.

If teabaggers want to reduce their tax liability, why don't they invest in America like the tax cuts they received were intended for?

The plan was almost immediately rejected by House Speaker John Boehner who has instead proposed closing some tax loopholes as a way to generate revenue.

I disagreed with him, Boehner said.

Boner is still pushing the same policies that lost Mitt the election.

Hopefully they will keep it up and they'll be gone in another 2 years unfortunately we'll have to pay them.

4 Years of saying NO sure does cost a lot.

We all remember how the 1% mercenaries and banksters PROFITED from the war in Iraq, while the rest of America lost loved ones, homes, and jobs.

Now the 1% that raped our US Treasury wants to hold our Middle Class tax cuts hostage to enrich itself more?????

The 1% is loyal only to the Cayman Islands, NOT America.

It's funny because Republicans also used to LIKE inflation, to minimize the debt. Now the banksters say can't give working people interest on their savings because it will cause inflation. Meanwhile inflation is at an all time high. The Republicans just decided to eliminate all the key products that Americans need to survive from the equation, like energy. They also pretend that items like clothing are not disposable today even though Chinese-made clothing (the only kind available today) lasts only 3 to 6 months causing consumers to buy much more. LOL

Some Democrats are steamed that businesses closing U.S. operations can deduct the closing costs as standard business expenses. "The law, right now, permits companies that close down American factories and offices and move those jobs overseas to take a tax deduction for the costs associated with moving the jobs to China or India or wherever," said Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., last year.

PolitiFact Rhode Island delved into Whitehouse's statement in some detail and ruled his statement True. In general, businesses can deduct any costs they face in the course of doing business. And the costs of shuttering a factory in the United States are not exempt.

Whitehouse supported legislation to change that by disallowing exemptions associated with offshoring, which an official summary defines as "any transaction in which a taxpayer reduces or eliminates the operation of a trade or business in connection with the start-up or expansion of such trade or business outside the United States." The bill failed in the Senate because it couldn't get the 60 votes required to cut off the threat of filibuster and move the bill toward final passage. The bill failed on a 53-45 vote, largely along party lines, with Democrats voting for it and Republicans voting against it.

Figures.

The Republicans lost an election. This is a Represenative Republic. That just means they want Obama to fix our problems that he made worse. The media lied for him during the campaign, but as it becomes evident Obama cannot fix anything the Democrats are the ones who will suffer buyer's remorse. The Democrats predict the Republicans are gone every time they win something, but they lie about that too.

Increasing taxes, fees, and regulations while and not making any serious reduction in our massive debt or out of control Govt spending while dumping hundreds of billions in new cost of implimenting ObamaCare on the States should achieve Obamas goal of 14% to 16% unemployment and 4% to 6% negative GDP growth by the end of his second term..
