Ohio contest could signal Democrats' momentum for November

There are 126 comments on the The Columbian story from Aug 7, 2018, titled Ohio contest could signal Democrats' momentum for November. In it, The Columbian reports that:

President Donald Trump's preferred congressional candidate - and his chief legislative achievement - are about to be tested in battleground Ohio in the season's final high-stakes special election. The midsummer affair comes as Trump's shadow looms over primary contests in four other states on Tuesday, none bigger than Kansas, where the Republican president roiled the governor's race Monday by opposing the sitting GOP governor on the eve of the election.

Look for major vote fraud in this election. After the Special in Alabama there was a big Party on TV, and one slightly tipsy lady admitted she was so happy, "because they bussed her into Alabama to vote for the Democrat, and they won!!" Hurray!! If the Democrats pick up a Republican seat that has been red since the 80's, well, you figure it out.

Oh come on guys, Trump rallies are like Jerry Springer at Wall Mart. Ok granted: Trump didnít start the fire. A great deal had to go wrong before America would stoop this low and put a man like him, a TV star-brander and huckster with zero political experience and a sketchy history (to put it politely) in the presidency. The political class right, left and center had to fail, and did they ever. Trump emerged out of reality television, cable news, and caps-lock tweeting, and his one great gift to own our attention in the precise ways those mediums own our attention ó by stoking conflict, deepening grievance, starting fights, and turning everything, absolutely everything, into canít-look-away entertainment. For all the talk, by his followers, of normalizing Trump, it was our normalization of the platforms he thrived on ó reality television, cable news, Twitter ó that is what made Trump possible.

If Democrats are to win by fraud..... Which is the only way they can win...... Those states lose., not the President. Any state run by a Democrat turns to a Ghetto.

My expectation is that the Democrats will make small gains, as is common in the midterms after a Republican president is elected, but not what they were hoping for. More troubling for them will be the number of incumbents who were knocked out by upstarts within their party. Come 2020, a good deal of them will not support The God Emperor Hillary when she commands the party to put her in office.

See...this is ego trip land. The more anyone says "Forget Hillary", the more the party will wage war against their own. Hillary is used to commanding the Frankenstein monsters to run amok when she doesn't get her way. She is quickly becoming that monster... and the first rule is to never rethink a decision. She's become the messiah for obsessive-compulsives. She'll spit, she'll scratch and she WILL kill to do what she was going to do any...any....any.....every way.....Nothing else can satisfy.

....An addict of her own drug.

To her minions and those who defy.....it's the gay marriage thing. You don't think it is....but it very much is.....your masters won't let you roll that back. Never.

After we purge this, we'll take care of the marriage bigots...but we WILL take care of them. First, everyone has to TRY the stupid choices first,..every....single....one .

The Ohio election has nothing to do with Democrats surging. The election is an indication of how important it is for Republicans to rally behind Trump. Right now we have Koch brothers neocons that are destroying the party. Ryan, McConnell, McCain and a bunch of other bad apples are the problem. If all three of these neocons campaigned every day for Balderson, the Democrat would have won easy. That's because neocons are elitist Democrat wannabes. The good news is that neocons like Flake, Corker, Ryan, Hatch and McCain won't be around to screw the party up next year. Viva Trump. MAGA.

That the Democrat had even a sliver of a chance in a 30-year Republican District, and then lost by a tiny margin, is a telling sign.

Novemberís going to be rough for you, Cupcake.

The Republicans are wasting time and they are missing a golden opportunity to get the wall going and do something concrete to stem the tide of drug trafficking that is killing America.
What is happening is the pendulum is swinging and the Democrats are on their way back.
When the do nothing politicians vote to spend thousands of billions on needless programs and never fight for the people, what do they expect?

If the "blue wave" was as big as the left and their sycophants in the MSM CLAIM it is, the demo-socialist would have won.

Maybe it's a sign that the wave is closer to a ripple.

Awe, it is still a loss and besides, your hype from the MSM and Fake News outlets said he was behind. Shades of Hillary.
