Whereís the outrage over umbrellagate? Patriotic congressional heroes like Mitch McConnell and John Boehner should demand hearings and witchcraft trials to determine who should be sentenced to years in federal prison for this and the sudden flurry of other White House scandals.

Yep, Herr Obama called in the Marines to hold an umbrella over his head so he wouldn't float, but he couldn't call them in for Benghazi.

Don’t Make it About Barack Obama
Republicans must remember that the problem is not Democrats in charge of government, but government itself. The argument falls flat if Republicans revert to ‚Äúbig government conservative‚ÄĚ arguments of ‚Äúput us in charge‚ÄĚ and we‚Äôll do better with the same. No they won‚Äôt.

Government is the problem. The vastness, complexity, and nefarious encroachment into our personal lives should be fought, not just blamed on the other side. Once we have actual evidence that the White House was involved, then the story can shift. For now, this is big government out of control, which is what the Democrats ‚ÄĒ not just Obama ‚ÄĒ want.

Attention progressives and other reasonable Americans. Donít be blind to how the game of aspersions works. Let he who is without principle cast the first wave of scandals, but once that ship has sailed, know that it could sail round trip.

For example, the much larger scandal is the tea party leadershipsí NAZI connections. Why does Mitch McConnell keep getting elected? Who seated Reince Prebus as GOP boss? Is Carl Rove really Karl Rove and why does he kep taking orders from the Fatherland?

Thatís how itís done. Of course, itís only the beginning. If the tea party wants to drown in a barrage of scandals, it need only keep bringing it.

That's no different than the right saying that Hitler had a power over his people -- they believed him and followed him regardless of his plans for Germany -- and suggesting Obama has that power over some people, too, with similar goals for our country.
Both are extreme viewpoints without factual support and only play to fears.
Why does Obama keep getting elected? Why do Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi keep getting elected. Why did Ted Kennedy keep getting elected?? Your argument is ridiculous.

Closer scrutiny will obviate that what Iím arguing is that hyperbolic rhetoric postulating the existence of scandal is indeed absurd. It is easy to draft and instill belief in a plethora of scandals about anyone or anything in the minds of those who arenít capable of thinking critically. This weapon of deception is one of the most used in the propagandistís arsenal.

Agreed, but these are factual issues, if not scandal, still reflecting character. Bottom line for me. Yes, character counts, but apparently only for a portion of our population.
