Your 100 peso note, actually carries a reproduction of a picture in the Museo Histórico Nacional, Buenos Aires, showing Julio Roca’s officers celebrating their victory on the Río Negro following their campaign of extermination.
Tierra del Fuego and the Devonshire incident..?

Besides, the sinking of the General Belgrano was a warcrime and a genocide and really the holier than thou shouldn't do dirty.
Actually the belgrano and the arg carrier and supporting ships were attempting a pincer movement on the British Task Force. The carrier from the north and belgrano from the south. The belgrano was sunk to stop this happening, it was a very legitimate target. Incidentally its sinking made the whole argy navy run away straight back to port and stay there. Which saved a lot of arg sailors getting killed in the long run. Although the two vessels accompanying the belgrano where expected by the British to take on board survivors as our navy would in such a situation, they elected to flee leaving their countrymen to die, so I would say they were responsible for the high casualty level. Maybe not a war crime on the part of the captains but certainly cowardice and dereliction of duty but that was arg quality at the time, I wonder if much has changed?

Thank you Ricardo for proving that you and you fellow Argentinians are brain washed by a desperate, failure of a society. It may be the case that the uk should not have taken the falkland islands back 200 years ago, but we did. There is now a community that live there and should be allowed to live there for as long as they choose to. Just because some greasy desperate president needs a few votes she is victimising a community. It should be the falkland islanders taking her to the UN. She is the empire builder not us. You ridiculous people make me sick. Concentrate on getting your own bankrupt nation back on its feet.

Diego - If the above illiterate tirade is intended to portray the argentines as legal occupants in 1833, then you are very wrong (how unusual). In 1833 the only occupants of the Falkland Islands were illegal squatters on British territory, which was subsequently reclaimed.

You see the problem is Francisco that this is an English Language froum and as such I have to translate your posts as you prefer to write in Spanish. So forgive me if in translation I do not get the full meaning of your response, just like your last on, it made no sense when translated in google. Although I understood your insults well enough so I am hoping you understand this....
"F*ck Off and when you get there f*ck off a little more"
there hope thats cleared it up for you.

Best regards

PS - Still not sure whether you think your ancestors did or did not steal the land off the Native Patagonians.

This is a case of selective memory Ricardo what about The Paraguayan War or Guerra del Paraguay, also known as War of the Triple Alliance. Almost wiped out the entire male population ten year olds to ninty year olds.

Not a very heroic memory for Arg but then its not as bad as the genocide in the Pampas that was truly horrific. But then the Dirty war wasnt anything to be proud of ither... The list goes on.
