Marriage is the joining of two previously separate entities or beings. There's no change required to include same-sex couples.

The only change needed is to remove the bigoted "straights only!" rule. And we're working on that. Give it some more time.

Rethink that by using substitution for the generic "god".

For example:

" ... 1 nation under Krishna ... "

" ... 1 nation under Odin ... "

" ... 1 nation under Shiva ... "

" ... 1 nation under Pele ... "

" ... 1 nation under Ashera ... "

See the problem?

Inclusion of that phrase into the "Pledge", and the declaration of that "Pledge" into the political sphere of the Untied States violates Separation of Church and State.

Someone has told you that our founders intended the U.S. government to be religiously based, and more, biased in favor of one religious sect over another.

Do you have any links to actual sources where they said or wrote this?

I have one for you to consider.

Article. VI.

" ... The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but NO RELIGIOUS TEST SHALL EVER BE REQUIRED AS A QUALIFICATION TO ANY OFFICE OR PUBLIC TRUST UNDER THE UNITED STATES...." In medieval times the word [email protected] meant a bundle of sticks. It is also a European name for a bassoon! The bassoon parts in most orchestral scores are labeled faggoti.

Pedophilia is a disorder and is not illegal. Molestation of children is illegal and may or may not involve a pedophile.

Since rape is a crime, yes, criminals and rapists are equal.

Good and evil are subjective. As pointed out in the south park movie:
"But what is evil anyway?
is there reason to the rhyme?
Without evil there can be no good,
So it must be good to be evil sometimes."
http://www.stlyrics.com/songs/s/southpark9849...

Right and wrong are also subjective, and open to interpretation.

'At around 4 on a Saturday morning, a time when most of the gay bars in New York have closed and locked their doors, a steady stream of young and middle-aged men, almost all shirtless and some stripped down to their boxer briefs, have found their way down a dark stairwell and into a maze of basement rooms, where the décor can best be described as fallout-shelter chic. They have come to Paddles, an after-hours sex club in Chelsea, not yet ready to end their evening. They prowl the long cinder-block hallway, exchanging knowing glances. A husky, bearded man in his 40s lounges on a corrugated black rubber bench, admiring a chorus line of smooth-chested 20-somethings, their flesh glowing under a pink neon sign and black lights. A man in a metal-studded black leather chest harness strides toward a back room, the hookup room, where a circle of men, skin glistening with sweat, hover around a swing, watching'

Meningitis is NOT just a gay threat, idiot. But we ARE working against it. What are straights doing?

The seedy underground of the MSM culture isn't talked about enough, this story is rather explicit in it's rendering of the gay lifestyle. Most defending gay marriage/rights would have everyone believe that they are just like monogamous heterosexuals that just want to share the love, and benefits of being married. This 'sex club' would point to some rather disturbing details of the gays who are not monogamous, and/or those who tell their partner they are.
Of course there are strip clubs/prostitutes that the Hetero' oblige, but I've never heard of anything on the degradation scale to compare to this 'sex club'. This is a sad commentary of a secret life not often revealed by the lame stream media. I’m sure most homosexuals would rather this information didn’t make the news as well.
Gay meningitis, just another disease born of homosexuality.

Actually, your comment shows just how ignorant you are.......we(meaning both of us)are extremely faithful to our marriage commitment and wedding vows.......I mean maybe you have to worry about that, but we don't:-)

Here's an article from 2010 on swinging:
In a 2000 online survey of 1,092 swingers, Bergstrand and Williams found that communication, independence and relationship-revitalization were reasons people gave for why they continued to swing. The swingers studied also seemed to have higher general satisfaction and more excitement in their lives than non-swingers.

WRONG, MUFFIN TOP!

The New York Times article, FOR GAY MEN, THE FEAR THAT IS FAMILIAR, the CDC says this particular bacterial meningitis IS TARGETING HOMOSEXUALS ONLY.

As far as your other obtuse argument, the NY Times also published the scientific study about GAY RULES OF THE ROAD--you aren't like us. You redefine fidelity as well as marriage.

Bottom Line:
Mother Nature has gone down into those holes described in the NY Times, and She doesn't care about homosexual marriage and political correctness.

Those holes are littered with Her victims, and if the CDC and the federal government don't get this under control by the time of Gay Pride Orgies, GRID II (AIDS II) is going to show you what payback is.

As the one clueless AIDS victim told the New York Times, "AIDS II? What will they think of next?"

Why would you deny the truth? Just to further your deviant, self absorbed lifestyle by lying to those who may be on the fence?
You are one sick individual, and like I've said before, who is looking out after who here? You should be thanking me for spreading the word, but no, you kick against anything/one who would cross your chosen lifestyle.

'Since 2010 an outbreak of bacterial meningitis has been occurring in New York City among men who have sex with men (MSM). Twenty-two cases have been reported, including four in 2013. The age of cases ranged between 21 and 59 years. Public health authorities in New York have disclosed that seven of the 22 infected people have died, including three from the most recent five cases. Furthermore, 12 of these cases of bacterial meningitis have occurred among HIV-positive men, five of whom have died. The bacteria responsible for this outbreak are Neisseria meningitidis serogroup C.'

You don't know what I 'think' so you cannot make a conclusion based on your ignorance. You still didn't show any numbers about the prevalence of swingers, and I'll bet they have a higher chance of sexually transmitted diseases too.
This thread isn't about swingers though, is it? Promoting bad behavior by pointing to other bad behavior is the foundation of the gay community. Trivialization of the deviancy shows how thoroughly you have digressed.
