Well by this congressman's logic every application that you ever fill out could be compromised...

Oh wait... that is how the world works right now anyway...

There shouldn't even be a registration process or private questions before you actually apply for a specific policy.

Besides data mining the site is designed to give the user their price while trying to hide the true cost without subsidies. In other words they want to give a single registered user a price without them comparing or seeing the true cost of Obama Care.

http://www.wnd.com/2013/10/obama-crashing-hea...

There should be a plain information site with formulas, basic questions, charts, tables, flow charts etc for someone to figure out the cost of a plan. I heard a politician comment that there shouldn't be that many questions since pre existing conditions are covered.

Insurance premiums have going up 1000% in the last 15
years.

Our incomes have gone down from an average of $75,000 just 6 years ago to $58,000 currently.

Do the math and let me know how long Americans can afford skyrocketing insurance premiums which have been skyrocketing decades before the term ACA was ever created?

Try to come back with facts instead of stinky info you pulled out of your ass.

Bullshit. This was mocked and refuted by other members of this so-called "investigative committee" - there is NO personal healthcare information being entered because it is NOT REQUIRED in order to sign up.

Idiot reTHUGlicans are trying to pretend this is a HIPAA violation (probably all of them opposed HIPAA, too) when it's obviously not.

Liars all..

Rogers has republicon derangement syndrome. He's another pimp for the Koch brothers. Imagine all the good their money could do for this country? But, because they are evil, they spend their bucks on trying to kill democracy.

Charles Krauthammer predicted Monday on Special Report with Bret Baier that “ObamaCare is gonna collapse on its own," saying the law will continue to face problems beyond the issues with its website.

The syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor was reacting to the White House acknowledging some Americans won’t be able to keep their health care plan, as President Obama had promised, under the Affordable Care Act.

“It’s a total contradiction of a promise that Obama made over and over again,” Krauthammer told the panel.“Why it’s going to happen is the essence of what is wrong with ObamaCare…the essence of the whole liberal ideology Obama is imposing on the country…It is that we know what’s best.”

Krauthammer said the admission that Americans will lose their health care plan "is the first of the blows that will come after the scandal about the website."

"And that’s why I think ObamaCare is gonna collapse on its own," he added.

Agree! Obama said he be "the most transparent administration in history". But under his breath he mumbled "after I know every damn thing there is to know about each & every American".

The PROOF!

Eleanor, premiums in the last 30 years have never gone down and in the future they will continue to do what they have done in the past. Increase at a rate faster than our incomes increase. Result: 65% of Americans who file for bankruptcy list "Medical bills" as the #1 reason.

At least the dems are looking to the future to try to stem the tide of medical fraud perpetrated by doctors, hospitals, lawyers and the insurance racket. Republicans, in the mean time, are trying to drag us back to the good ole days of McCarthyism and male dominance.

President Obama didn't lie to you, republicans (and the insurance industry) did. They know most of their constituents are too stupid to ask any questions. You people let FOX news and the GOP do all your thinking for you. Good luck with that.

So you are saying that the insurance industry isn't to blame for dropping 300,000 insured, President Obama is?

P.T. Barnum was right. There is a sucker born every minute and in most cases, they are racists, too. Have a great day, OKKK?

Unfortunately, Obamacare is the catalyst that has caused the cancellation of the policies. If the government, mainly this administration, would have simply passed insurance industry regulations, rather than trying to control the healthcare/insurance industry; much of this turmoil could have been avoided. Look at other major industries, like airlines. Regulations placed on them was all it took to bring pricing, safety and availability into line. Another example is the electrical power grid, regulated but still operated and owned by shareholders and corporations. Now, think about Amtrak. A huge abomination in respect to it's operations and pricing. Government run. The Obama administration simply wanted too much control, and it's coming around to bite them in the arse. As soon as you mandate something, questions will arise as to "why a mandate if it's so wonderful". It's human nature to be wary of "sales" tactics shrouded in secrecy and haze.

Yes. Obama and his Obamacare scheme to which he lays claim to IS RESPONSIBLE for people being dropped from their insurance plans.

And it is not just 300,000 being dropped. It's 300,000 being dropped in ONE state. There ARE MILLIONS of people WITH insurance being dropped all over the country.

And why are they being dropped?? Because Obamacare MADATES that birth control pills must be free (whether one uses them or not); that cancer screening MUST be free (whether one wishes to expose themselves to dangerous levels of RADIATION TESTS) and a whole bunch of other things that NOT EVERYONE WANTS OR NEEDS, but are now MANDATED to be included in insurance.

Obama is directly responsible for these policy cancellations because of HIS SIGNATURE LAW.

And when these dropped people attempt to purchase replacement insurance - BANG - they see a HUGE, HUGE premium INCREASE.

Obamacare is one BIG GIANT MESS that seems to be selectively PUNISHING those people who were responsible enough to have had health insurance in the FIRST PLACE!!!

Exactly, maternity leave on all policies. LOL what a bunch of BS. The ACA is financial scheme to force the taxpayer to cover and support the abortion and birth control crisis that is happening in this country. No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act passed 251-175. Yet, it was still discovered that tax dollars were indeed funding them. Now that the cat is out of the bag, they need funding from other sources, namely, the ACA!
