Losing faith in Democrats' religious outreach
In 2008, Barack Obama took aim at the "pew gap," the overwhelming Republican edge among voters who regularly attend church.

The Republicans don't care about God, they care about money. Romney doesn't have crosses sticking out his mouth, he has dollar bills in the picture. They Republicans care about DISTORTING God and religion, using and abusing it. That's the Gods truth. Time for the churches to wake up, instead of going to the dark side.

Are Christian fundamentalists going to vote for a vulture capitalist Mormon? Add them to the list: blacks, hispanics gays, women, the poor, the intelligent.

Sure. Their hate for President Obama is stronger than their religious beliefs.
Jon Steward clearly spells it out:Simple math. I hate Barack Obama more than I love Jesus, Watch it here: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/05/02/jon-ste...

It's really hard to know for sure what the Mormon Church instructs its adherents to believe, because it tries to hide that information, imo.
Here's what I've been able to piece together about their beliefs:
There is no Trinity. God is God, Jesus is the Son of God and the Holy Ghost is someone else.
Jesus Christ is Satan's brother.
God lives near a planet called "Kolob."
Baptizing dead people.
The Garden of Eden was in Missouri.
It was impossible for Negroes to go to Heaven (before 1978.)
Jesus has children from his wife or wives.
Each Mormon (men only?) is going to become a god.
Mormons (men only?) will have their own personal planet after they die.
The real Christian God is not eternal but rather that He was once a man on some other planet besides Earth.
Magical underwear created by Mormons, never to be taken off unless bathing.
I suppose Catholics and then fundies will find a way to hold their noses and vote for Mittens regardless, since they are united in an antipathy for women's equality and for glbt people.

This was well-worded. There is zero concern for morality among these conservatives and ultraconservatives: Demonstrably, provably and repeatedly, they *break commandments* a child could point to in their zeal to force their views down everyone's throat.
It is spine-chilling to realize that it is not the pro-gay forcing their views upon anyone but the *antigay* who do it with such clinical and constant obsession that one finally wonders who they're trying to convince -- others or themselves.
I have never seen a group so devoid of a moral code. They have now advocated everything from lies to *murder* to "rid" the world of gay people. This is a hatred beyond the savagery of anything I have ever seen in my life.

I actually laughed out loud at "baptizing dead people."

Hasn't Obama and the Atheist liberals been assaulting relgion now for months? Now they want to "reach out" to people of faith? What a joke.
#14 Jun 3, 2012
Yes, because in the minds of those "relgious" people (quoting your spelling), they are ACTUALLY ALLOWED to harass others with their beliefs, but if anyone *dares*, simply *dares* to react as any normal person would to harassment, then according to someone like YOU in your "illustrious glory," that constitutes "assault" of belief.
Mark my words, if what you describe as "assault" ever comes to pass into law, I will be leveling charges against the "religious" several times *per day* on grounds exact and identical to the claim you have made here. Because quite frankly, what you call "assaultive" is the result of the "relgious" refusal to recognize when their opinions and their horse shit are not wanted.
But you knew all that.
I know you knew it.
I know for a *fact* you knew it.

Yes, your attitude is common among atheist liberals. It's not going to win the votes of the faithful.
#16 Jun 3, 2012
No. Everyone but the fundies and Generalissimo Franco type Catholics has been resisting their attempts to limit the sexual autonomy of women, the demonization of glbt people and to move us further towards a theocracy.
Many people of faith don't subscribe to that xstain mullah agenda.

As a result of a baptism by proxy Ben Franklin is a Mormon High Priest now, according to Romney's faith.
The Mormons further believe the US Constitution is also divine [like the Book of Mormon] and a "necessary prologue" for the triumph of the LDS Church in America and across the world.
#18 Jun 3, 2012
Obama's planned parenthood is the only organization limiting the sexual autonomy of women. The liberals are conducting the real war on women...even aborting them before they're born...

Don't get me wrong. I support Bishop Rmoney, but I'm not completely sure about converting to Mormonism. I was thinking it could help me and my family/relatives get good government jobs once he's elected.
Is this stuff true?
1. Mormon leadership supported the Nazis
2. Mormon leadership supports sexism
3. Joseph Smith stole his ideas from Greek Neoplatonic, Platonic, Helenistic, Esoteric, and Occult philosophies of Pagan sets living in ancient times.
4. Mormon beliefs are closely linked to Islamic beliefs
5. God didn't make men, men made Gods
6. Joseph Smith didn't have time to steal the last teachings of Heremes where it stated that in the pre-mortal life we are neither male nor female.
7. Mark Twain hated the Book of Mormon
8. The Mormon church has a lot of good people, but their leadership is inspired by he Lord of Lights and him alone. The Lord of Lights is Lucifer
9. Most of the miracles that Mormons claim come from God are actually on from social pressure to believe
10. If I convinced eight homeless people that I was a God, then the Mormon church leadership must believe that I am a God in the same way that we must believe the Book of Mormon to be true because eight people saw it; after tomorrow, I'll only need one more homeless man's testimony of my Godhood then I'll expect you to worship me.
11. Lastly, Mormons don't refute these arguments, instead they resort to personal attacks just like the pharisees.

Does Bishop Rmoney have a home in Saudi Arabia where he can practice his religion freely?

Oh stfu, you stupid, racist, sexist bigot.
