What a joke. Obama is not to blame. He is just a puppet like Bush. The CFR is to blame. Also our military takes its orders straight from the queen of England. The Illuminati has planned the death of the USA. Since people are too stupid to beleive the truth, then they easily fall for a lie. The economy is going to crash. Puppet Obama will take the blame.

The American people will suffer, because they have exchanged the truth for a lie. The stupid people actually think the news is true.

Our leaders get drunk, have gay sex and pray to the devil at Bohemian Grove. They have cursed America.

These bogus stupid polls about how well the obamanation is doing on the economy are just skewed BS. It's completely obvious that all the libtards in America have everything vested in the success of the first black far left marxist president and are going to give all of his left wing policies approval no matter how much of a f'n idiot the obamanation has proven to be.

You mean baby Pelosi and baby Reid, baby moron.

The 2006 midterm Pelosi/Reid democrat-controlled House and Senate (110th congress) were the death knell.

George Bush and the GOP-controlled congress brought us back from the dot-com bust and 9/11, creating the DHS and rebuilding the intel infrastructure that Clinton decimated.

Under Bush and the GOP we had all-time record-high employment, record-high government revenues, a record 52 consecutive months of job growth, 6.8 million new jobs, the DOW near 14,000, the deficit reduced to $161 billion, GDP growth at 3.5%, and unemployment at a nominal 4.2 - 4.5%.

GDP grew about 29.7% from 2003 to 2008, and income tax revenues grew nearly 56% during that same time.....ALL-TIME RECORDS.

What happened after the Pelosi/Reid democrat cabal took control of the House AND Senate after the 2006 midterms (110th congress)?

Let's see....

Since the democrats took control after the 2006 midterms (Jan 3rd, 2007), the Pelosi/Reid controlled 110th congress have looted the treasury for nearly $6 trillion and increased the deficit by $1.26 trillion, or 776%.(The republican congress had reduced the deficit from a high of $412 billion in FY 2004 to $319b in FY 2005, to $248b in FY 2006, and ultimately to $161b in FY 2007).

Those same democrats also increased the National Debt from $8.67 trillion to $14.56 trillion -- an increase of $5.89 trillion or 68% AND increased the Debt Limit from $8.965 trillion to $14.29 trillion -- an increase of $5.33 trillion or 59.4%.....while losing 6.8 million jobs.

And who could forget that those same democrats turned the projected $800 billion SURPLUS over the ten-year period FY 2008-2017 into a $9.7 trillion DEFICIT -- a $10.5 trillion worsening of the budget outlook.

IN ADDITION to creating record debt and record deficits, they've delivered record poverty, record welfare, record food stamp enrollment, record home foreclosures, record-low housing values, record-low business startups, record-low private-sector pay, record-high goverment-pay, record-high underemployment, record-high inflation, record-high economic stagnation, record-high bank closures, and doubled unemployment. Along with backroom deals, bribes, government takeovers of our economy, thousands of ruinous new taxes and regulations, billions in payoffs to state unions and union pensions, the ruination of our healthcare system, made a mockery of congress, and utterly crippled business, confidence, and prosperity in America.

What does Obama want?--- July 29, 2011
http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2011/07/...

Q: What does Obama want?

A: He wants a huge, and permanent, increase in the size of government. This is the “change” he campaigned on, but never really described. The goal was to make the US into a European-style “Social Democracy”.
______

Q: Does he really think he can finance it indefinitely with huge deficits?

A: Of course not. The plan was to corner the Republicans and force them to agree to huge tax increases in order to pay for it. So spending was raised first, and eventually the Republicans would face the choice of raising taxes or having the national debt spiral up to clearly unsustainable levels.
______

Q: Are Democrats in the House and Senate on board with this plan?

A: Mostly they are.
______

Q: Why haven’t they been honest about it?

A: Because they know that the majority of American voters would object. They’re trying to sneak the program through, relying on the fact that once it’s in place it will create its own constituency.
______

Q: Why haven’t the Democrats passed a budget for the last two years?

A: Because if they did, the cat would be out of the bag. It would be impossible to hide their real agenda if it was all down in black-and-white.
______

Q: And Obamacare is part of this?

A: Yup. The real goal all along was “single payer”, but that wasn’t legislatively possible even in a D-majority congress. So the bill was set up so that private insurers would continue, but the terms which would be forced on them would make them “voluntarily” leave the market. With no insurers remaining, the Democrats would then “reluctantly” pass a single-payer system.
______

Q: Is this something new?

A: Hardly. It’s the continuation of a process that began with FDR, and made huge gains with LBJ’s “Great Society”. Reagan tried to reverse it but failed.(Also, Reagan had other things to worry about, like winning the Cold War.)
______

Q: Is Obama going to win on this?

A: Your time is up. Please insert another quarter.

Ocommie's intent has been to tank the US economy. To subjugate Americans with regulations and taxes, transfer their wealth, ensure government dependency, a permanent democRAT voting bloc, and "transform" America into his warped anti-American utopia of a communist progressive, european social democracy.

At their core, Reich Chancellor Obama and his entire National Socialist Democratic Party embody the warped liberal concepts of wealth redistribution, forced equal outcomes, anti-capiltalist, radical marxist ideology, rejection of American exceptionalism and sovereignity, and the rejection of the founding principles of the US Constitution.

Also keep in mind that "social justice" in the warped mind of this lifelong communist bred-and-raised radical, unAmerican corrupt activist applies not merely to the US internally, but of the US relative to the world. Thus he will continue to apologize for, villify, minimally defend, and tear down success and lower our standard of living until we're equally as miserable as all other countries.

That term also applies to his radical view of the US Constitution as a "living document", one that must be changed to support social change, aka social justice. It's also in great part why he's radically (and unConstitutionally) expanding government powers -- taking over more than half of the US economy (banking, finance, insurance, education, automotive, healthcare, and attempted cap & trade energy takeover), and eroding freedoms and liberties at a pace unheard of in our 235 year history.

The kenyan subversive is driven -- and at any cost -- to implement, er impose his anti-American communist ideological agenda upon a nation he considers as oppressive, unfair, greedy, and rich beyond avarice. And his disingenuous agenda for wealth redistribution, social justice, government-dependence, and a government-controlled european social democracy --- aka a communist progressive society -- is an end to which any means is justifiable, including massive harm to our nation economically, militarily, morally, and ethically. The word "sociopath" comes to mind, although money also plays a role, ie: via his CCX trust fund, he stands to make untold millions if Cap and Trade passes the Senate.

In ANY other endeavor other than government, he'd be dismissed by virtually everyone as a radical nutjob. What does the fact that this corrupt radical is now president say about our government, the media, liberals, democrats, and our country?

Hussein Obama is the most incompetent and most corrupt person ever to set foot in the White House.

This islamofascist is more concerned about muslimizing every Afican and Middle East country than anything else.

He has American soldiers dying, fighting his personal wars in eight(8) countries simultaneously to rid those countries of non-muslims.

At no time in history, has this country been so devastated with financial problems, unemployment, racism, and etc.

He shredded the U.S. constitution, saying is is anitquated.

He is abolishing all religions, except for islam.

This corrupt warmonger should be on top of Interpol's Most Wanted List and tried in Nuremburg and hanged.

One cannot study an economy using macroeconomics when the government is affecting supply and demand through political favoritism.

Yeah, because "political favoritism" stops one from studying macroeconomics... That makes a lot of sense!

If you want to reduce political favoritism then get rid of the insane American system of power over-dilution between house, congress, and executive. I love how people sit around on these forums all day blaming Obama and "socialism" (that's a laugh, the US is nowhere near socialism nor will it ever be AND you're being out-competed by countries with higher levels of government intervention) when in reality the presidency has no lawmaking power and is only a small part of a very large system which the presidency has little control over.

You're thinking one-dimensionally in what I assume is forced rational to attempt to defend the kenyan.

Ever heard of Executive Orders? How about Czars, Secretaries, and Chiefs controlled by the President? Who submits a budget to congress? Who loans foreign countries US taxpayer billions? Who controls the census? Who controls energy? Who controls regulations? Under whose domain? How about a forced healthcare fiasco controlled by government bureaucrats, run by government unions, and enforced by the IRS? Who forced that upon us?

Of course the majority does, the majority is "stupid"! The economy is in the condition it is in because of "US" and "Our Way of Living". That compiled with a criminal greedy cartel controlling the majority of US wealth and Government. It can change when we stop pretending and living in make believe world.

More Americans now put more of the burden of the economy on President Obama because he tried to compromise with the republicans too much. He should have just went big and pushed through all of the proven progressive-liberal ideas that got our economy booming during the Clinton years.
Nevertheless, it is very telling that after 3 years the American people overwhelmingly still see this bad economy as “Bush’s economy”, and they will continue to do so until things get better. And if that big of a majority sees this economy as the result of republican’s failed policies, that has to send chills down the jellyfish spines of the GOP and their chances of winning in 2012.
